Spring Arbor Senior Living

My father's 4 years at Spring Arbor were a positive experience. He was well taken care of and his transition from assisted living to the cottages was seamless. The staff is professional, caring and positive. His dietary needs changed during his stay and he was immediately given foods that were easier to manage. It was so convenient that there were medical professionals in the building twice a week and if he required medication it came quickly. Everyone, and I do mean everyone have the clients care and safety as a top priority. I would recommend Spring Arbor as one of the best assisted living facilities in Winchester. I'm so glad he was able to stay there.

We couldn't be happier with the care my father receives at Spring Arbor. The staff are truly exceptional—kind, compassionate, and incredibly attentive. They not only take great care of his daily needs but also genuinely spend time with him and keep him engaged. It's clear they care about the residents as individuals. One of the things that stands out most is how much he enjoys the food—he looks forward to meals every day! The team is always accommodating to his requests, whether it’s helping him with his TV or making sure he’s comfortable in his space. It gives our family real peace of mind knowing he’s in such good hands. We’re so grateful to everyone at Spring Arbor for the warmth and support they provide every day.

Mom was hesitant to move to an assisted living facility. After 6+ years of being the primary caregiver (by her choice) for my dad and almost 5 years of living in the home they built together without him, She decided it was time. I am sure the transition is never easy, but everyone at Spring Arbor has from before she moved in done everything possible to offer her a wonderful experience. She is happier and healthier than she has been for years. She is eating well and exercising regularly, has wonderful friends, & so many options of engaging activities. The care team & staff have all been so precious and kind to her. Every need is met. This is such a gift to me and the rest of our family as we know that she is safe and well cared for. Now when we visit, it is truly a visit- a time of laughing, sharing, and fellowship. Spring Arbor also offers many opportunities for family members to come and join in on the fun. Choosing to live at Spring Arbor was a truly wonderful decision.

My Mom first went to Spring Arbor in Apex 7 years ago…just for a week’s respite care so my husband and I could finally take a vacation together. When Mom needed more care than we could provide, Spring Arbor was the only place I considered. The staff has always been wonderful. They somehow manage to hire the most caring, compassionate people who seem to really consider the residents “family”. I have developed wonderful relationships with several of them and when I visit my Mom it’s like catching up with old friends. Spring Arbor of Apex is small enough that no one gets overlooked. The men and ladies in the kitchen do a great job also! My husband and I have attended many social events for families and it’s always such fun! Lovely theme parties, food, decorations, etc. So in closing, I’d definitely recommend Spring Arbor if you want a loving, safe environment for your loved one.

My Mom has been a resident of Spring Arbor Apex for over two years. She had been at another facility much closer to our home, but the care was subpar. It is worth the drive to Apex as I know, and have witnessed first hand, the love and care each staff member shows towards the residents. Even in the dining room, I see staff watching over residents as they eat, helping those that need help feeding themselves, and just sitting and chatting with them. The respect and humanity the residents are shown gives me great peace of mind. I truly feel that each staff member sees their work as a ministry. From the director to the receptionist, med techs, kitchen staff, cleaning staff, maintenance staff- all have a sense of purpose in their work. I would highly recommend SA of Apex to others looking for exceptional care for their elderly loved one.

What stood out the most is that it is clean and they are professional and caring. I would recommend to Spring Arbor to others who are searching for memory care for their loved one.

Love all of the staff! They are all for the most part friendly and treat my mom with dignity and respect. Keep the place clean.

The staff were wonderful and dealt with some issues my husband was having. It's a great place for family members who need extra care.

All of them would be a five - I really wish she had been there the entire time she lived in memory care. The facility was very homelike compared to others - not a sterile environment. Comfortable community areas, and the outdoor area is so nice - various places in and out of shade, secured, and manicured area. Also they have really good food cooked there. Attentive and sweet staff; they know the residents well and are kind. My mom often said she liked living there.

Our aunt chose this assisted living community for herself 2 years ago, after her Alzheimer’s diagnosis. It has been an amazing home for her. Her apartment is beautiful, the staff is amazing and have become like family to her, her days are busy with fun activities and adventures, and she has made wonderful friends. It’s also a small enough community that no one falls through the cracks-everyone receives top-notch care. Oh! Bonus-the food is excellent!

A Place for mom gave us many options to look at. We as a family of 5 siblings wanted out parents to be close by so we can all visit. The Shores of lake Phalen was not in the area us kids wanted to look, but when we went and toured The Shores of Lake Phalen we were stunned. It is a little bit further of a drive but for the price!!! We make the lager drive. All-inclusive Pricing has made it so easy for us to manage our parents finances. Thank you

The staff is very caring and professional. It is a well run, compassionate organization. Also, the staff feels called to do this work and they care about the wellbeing of the residents.

My mom has been residing at The Piper in one of their memory care units since late March. I am grateful for the staff who understand her dementia and genuinely care about her as a person. It makes a world of difference in her adjustment to this as well as the recent loss of her husband of nearly 65 years. While The Piper is close to my home, they have taken a great deal of the stress off of me personally.

The Canopy staff is top notch, very welcoming and accommodating. They know your name and acknowledge you. I would recommend

Spring Arbor is great! The staff and residents act as a family. I enjoy spending time with the staff while visiting my father. My father's 1 bed room is perfect. The studio apartments are enough as well.

I moved my mother here in October 2023 from a similar community. I have nothing but great things to say about this community. The gentleman that helped us from the beginning was most accommodating, from being patient cause mom was nervous to move(it took us over a year to make the decision and get the move done, to the day we moved in. I am new to the metro and didn’t have much help with the physical move, he took time and came in on his day off to give us a hand moving furniture. The food was well above what mom was getting at her former community. Activities every day, outings on the bus. The maintenance director even came in to help us, hook up her television and introduce himself. I could not be more happy about moms time at this community.

Such a lovely place super clean super Demere really good stuff. Perfect price took really good care of elders parents and super nice I loved the layout and everything and everyone is super nice and respectful

It's always clean. Staff seem to really care about the residents. We would absolutely recommend the community to other families based on the experience so far.

The staff was very loving and caring. They treated my mom like she was their own mom. We were very pleased with how mom was loved by them. They were quick to let me know if anything had happened with my mom I always felt informed.

This is a wonderful place. I wasn’t sure how my mom was going to handle it. She was unsure how things were going to be for her. I so happy that she is happy and gets involved with the activities. She has met so many great friends and the staff is wonderful.
