Spring Arbor Senior Living

Carol Hull was GREAT - and was caring and attentive during the difficult process. We did select one of her recommendations and it was very good. Sadly, my father passed away this week, but he was able to spend his time well taken care of. Also, wonderful team at this facility - truly caring and helpful.

Staff is very caring a lot of activities nice size rooms food could be more varied. Based on the experience so far, we would recommend White Springs Senior Living to other families.

It was very expensive for mom to live there. But that is not just a Spring Arbor thing. All assisted living facilities usually cost more than most of us can afford. We were pleased with everything but the food. I had dinner with mom twice as she was only a resident there for 2 weeks before being hospitalized and diagnosed with terminal cancer. And the food was really bad. Think high school cafeteria food. Mom was transferred to a nursing home when she was discharged from the hospital, and the food there was so much better. So I know it's possible to serve the residents decent food. Aside from the food, mom wasn't there long enough for us to really get to know a lot of the staff, or for her to participate in any activities. I can say that the limited interactions I had were very good, and everyone seemed friendly and available for the residents.

So far really good. Very attentive and accommodating and made move-in easy. The food is great...parents have positive comments. They have been very responsive when my sister (local in Rocky Mount) reaches out with questions or requests. Clean facility and positive atmosphere for residents. The room size is a bit small for two residents in a room, but my mom is in a wheelchair and hospital bed so that has a unique impact.

Spring Arbor has been great! They are very personal they know my mom and they are kind. There have been issues with a couple of people but they seem to work it out quickly. My only concern is my mom usually smells like urine and that concerns me. When I talk to them about it, they try to address it. They know my Mom. They call her by name. They know her likes and will have drinks or foods preset to her liking.

The staff is very friendly and professional. They had a certain person assigned to us at move in. She was very helpful and friendly. The studio apartment is one of the largest we did find. It even has a kitchenette with a regular size fridge. She can have her keurig and a small microwave there. They have been real good about taking her to exercise every time and other activities. She goes on outings also. The food is pretty standard but she likes it as they serve softer meats. They don't get desert every day. They are doing well at bathing her 2 x a week. The other place 1 x a week I had to call them every time more than 1 call a week. They keep it clean also.

Alto is a great facility overall. It is cleaner and safer for seniors.

All the people that work there are caring and treat people that live there as family. They are involved every aspect of care.

Medical staff weren’t very friendly and sometimes came off as rude. Medicine also wasn’t always given on time, which was frustrating and made things feel a bit unorganized. Overall, it just didn’t feel like the level of care or attention you’d expect.

They truly care about their residents and have been good about our concerns about our family member. They have also been supportive of our mother and reassuring of fears and concerns.

Visitors are welcome 24x7. The employees are like family, they care and it shows. They will call if anything happens to the resident. And pets are welcome, offering huge comfort to the resident. Highly recommend.

No place is perfect, but I feel like this was absolutely the best place for my husband. For the most part, very caring staff. Supportive of me.

I would advise people to use your service. You made it very easy to schedule multiple visits, which is important, look at as many places as you can. Specifically Alto Evergreen, so far we are very happy with it. Friendly staff. Food is good. Place is modern, clean. I would recommend it.

Actually the place was lovely but we encountered several issues with the room. Wasn't cleaned well on 2 occasions the patient buzzer was not answered

It was clean and new. I would tell another family considering them that it is nice, but the food wasn't very good.

My loved one passed and is no longer at the facility but what we liked the most about the community was their friendliness and patience. We would recommend Spring Arbor of Sandhills to other families.

They are very accommodating and always willing to help. Everyone is kind and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. The place is also very clean and well maintained, and you can tell they care about providing a comfortable environment for the residents.

It's a smaller facility where the benefit is that the staff truly gets to know each resident and family member personally. My parents are well cared for, and I can be confident that if I am not able to visit or be with my parents, they are in capable and caring hands. In my opinion, where no facility will ever be perfect, I believe we chose the best living option for my parents needs.
