This is a really nice community. They take really good care of the people that reside there. Sometimes communication can be a problem. They have activities like exercise, bingo, music in the evening and they take the residents out for drives around the city.

I have confidence in the community and the staff. They are doing their best, and I don't have to worry. The food looks good for my loved one. Bingo is enjoyed by a lot of the residents. They also have lectures, book club, and other activities for the residents to participate in.

We have been very pleased with the community so far. They have done a very good job and have gotten her engaged in doing other activities, they have done everything we were hoping would happen when moving her in here. I would highly recommend to others look

I would recommend you definitely check this community out. The care is a lot better than a previous community for less money. The staff are good when you are able to get to them. I believe the response time could be better from the staff when leaving a message about my loved one care's.

Medical care is good, nurses on duty at all times. Activities are available mon-fri. Good food.

Its definitely a place that cares about people.

We toured this community and the tour was very good. They answered all of our questions and were very informative. They were very accommodating and the staff was very helpful and friendly.

This is too expensive for what you get. Mostly because of the meals. Told us that they were going to start charging us $5 a meal to take it up to my loved one when they were unable to come down to eat. However, the people are very friendly.

This is a brand new community. There was no license at the time for them to open their doors. This was the down fall for us. We meet with the Executive Director, and when we returned she wasn't there.

This could be in part due to Covid, but the transition from start to finish was very confusing because we couldn't go in and see the room before we moved our loved ones in. So we had no idea what to anticipate. And then once we moved them in, it took a while to rearrange furniture and things like that. Because we weren't able to go in and meet the staff, we weren't able to discuss our concerns or our desires for our relatives from the get-go, or talk about the nuts and bolts of things. For instance, no one told us we would be responsible for providing soap, toothpaste, toilet paper, etc. There were a lot of those little things to iron out. That being said, the staff has been extremely responsive to all of our questions and concerns. It just took a good 2-3 months to really get settled in. And there are still little things to double check, but overall it's been a good experience. The one concern I have is the room itself is not all that neat and clean. There was dust in their room when they first moved in, and it's still there. The facility in general looks very neat and clean. It's just the rooms that haven't been up to my cleaning standards. But the woman at the front desk knows me by name. She's quick to help out when I ask or get me to the correct person. One of the personal aides has given me her cell phone number and said call anytime. Same with one of the laundry staff. The doctor on staff is very friendly and responsive. We're still trig to figure out the accounting online, but that's likely our issue. Overall, it has all worked out well. If we ask them to do anything, they do it, which has been nice. I really feel confident that our loved ones are well cared for. And my loved ones say they're showered with attention there. They've been content there right from the start. I've also appreciated that there is a base rate for the room, and then another rate for the level of care. So if you have two loved ones with different levels of care, they can stay together.

I didn't find anything wrong with them. If I ever needed to go to a senior community, I would probably go there. But my loved one chose elsewhere. Dominion is geared more toward younger elderly people in their 60s and 70s. For someone in my loved one's situation, way up there in age and not as active, it was a little overwhelming for her. But I personally I liked it. It was a beautiful facility, with lots of high ceilings.

We chose Dominions Senior Living because of the availability at the time of placement we were needing. They have a monthly calendar and families can take that and stay updated on what is happening inside of the facility. I would recommend to others looking.

Our experience there was very short, but the staff was great in preparation for my loved one's entry, and also very attentive while she was there. They were particularly attuned to her medical condition. Which is why we were there for such a short time - she ended up needing transferred to the hospital. From what I saw in that time, it looked pretty clean. There was nothing bad that I saw. They seemed to have a good, full calendar of events for the residents, and they seemed to be actively trying to get them engaged as far as memory care goes.

I would tell others it is in a nice location. The people are friendly and seem to be caring. They are quick to meet my requests. They are on top of the care of my loved one. My loved one has adapted to the community. The communication is good and they are fairly prompt in their responses.

I chose Dominion because it was the best in the area. My room is very big, I have 2 bedrooms and a big closet, I cannot complain. I do know that they have different sizes as well to choose from. Overall, it has been a good experience and I would recommend them.

This is a very friendly community. The staff are very attentive and caring with the residence. I would like to see the communication get better between the family and the directors. I would recommend this community to others.
