Everything I’ve seen is good. Everyone we’ve dealt with has been real nice. We’ve been real pleased. I’ve eaten there a couple a couple of times and it was good. There is enough parking. The laundry service has been fine.

Small. 8 table diningroom. Aviary. Memory care kitchen.

my mother-in-law liked it there very much. We hated to move her but wanted to have her closer to our home.

When I viewed the communities back in march 2013 I was looking for a nice home for my parents. I went to the Windsor-Manor- Indianola and found the staff to be wonderful the layout and grounds were well kept and the care service we were seeking fit the needs of my parents.

The cleanliness is excellent, the staff is very good, very friendly, the care that they're providing to my parents is outstanding. They've had some medical issues since they've been there so they aren't able to participate in as many activities as we would like. The medical care has been excellent, I can't say enough about it. It's been outstanding, the nurses, their assistants and even the aids are exceptional. The consistency of some of the meals they serve could be improved upon, I wouldn't say they're bad but something they serve could be similar to something they've cooked before but it won't be as good. I would say it's inconsistent. My parents chose this most likely because it was one single floor, there was no need for elevators and the apartment they leased was a little bigger.

Our favorite out of all we have seen. Physically it is very nice. Staff is friendly. People and staff interact positively. We are going to add her to the waitlist here immediately.

Unfortunately the manager didn't show for our appointment. We were given a tour by the architect who seemed knowlegeable. The Manor isn't finished yet but will be very much like the one in Bondurant. Very pretty. Nice rural neighborhood.

I was very impressed with Windsor Manor in Vinton. My parents were impressed too.

Her place is opening in Jan. Larger rooms than the 2 I mentioned in Sterling. Free transportation to doctors in Leesburg.

Lovely facility. Waiting list. No skilled nursing.

Overall, the facility is ok. Staff is a hit or miss. Some are great and some not so much.

I'm thrilled with the place. The cleaning has improved. It's a smaller facility, which is good because the last place was larger, and dad would get lost. The staff is pretty good. There is not too many complaints with food. The activities director is amazing. It is a little pricier than other places but worth the value. Overall, it's a great place, dad is very happy. Also, the activities director is awesome-very musical, and has music sessions with individual residents. One other thing, my dad loves the bus tours.

The apartments are spacious and lad out well. The dining room is has plenty of room for wheelchairs, walkers and people to move around in. Overall the facility is pretty and welcoming. I can't say I'm happy with the medical part of this facility. You need to go with there provider to package the meds in a push pack. Our father was given the wrong medicine and the wrong amount on a number of occasions. Because dad is a veteran and he's med's are at a discount it is more of an expense for us to go though there provider. Dad is for the most part happy there.

This looked like a nice community when we visited. They offer rehabilitation services including a jacuzzi. The staff I met were friendly and the community is clean. This community is in a congested location and we did not think this would work for our loved one.

I really thought that this community was very nice. The people were very helpful and reassuring through the process. Residents were out walking around. The only issue that I had was the price it was too expensive.

They were always clean, and they had plenty of activities. The meals were good. They were able to keep up with medications, and any changes. Any time there was a new doctors appointment they were aware of it and made sure we were aware of it. Unfortunately there were items were stolen from the room. [removed]

My mom has been there for a couple of weeks and is slowly getting adjusted. It's terribly expensive, but it's where she needs to be. Most of her meals are provided and there is bingo. A friend of my mother's recently came to visit her there and I don't think my mom would've invited her if she wasn't happy.

It's my mother who lived there for a short while. From my experience, the staff were friendly, the care was good and pretty responsive. There were plenty of activities for those who wanted to join. The food quality wasn't the best and they did a pretty dismal job of cleaning my mom's apartment.

Talk to residents there before the transition and now. Confirm if the aligned RN lives locally. One there when my father-in-law was a resident was based in FL
