Spring Arbor Senior Living

Waterstone has been a learning experience for us as this is our first assisted living facility interaction. You learn that no place is perfect but you have to look for what is better than the rest. This seems to be our opinion of Waterstone overall. Not perfect but better than the others and we would recommend them to other families.

We moved here and brought mom from another memory care unit. The administration and care staff have been very attentive to mom’s needs. The facility is clean and inviting. When we visit there have been some large activities going on including music and Hawaiian themed party. Our dad is very happy with the facility. Would recommend.

The staff is very caring, helpful and friendly. Room sizes and amenities offered are great.

The facility was kept extra clean, and the decor and design of the facility provided a very comfortable home-like feel. All the staff were kind and friendly. We do wish they allowed cameras in the room to provide watchful eyes from a work station, to watch for falls and other problems. Our mother fell apparently getting out of bed and broke her femur. It would have been helpful if it was recorded so we could know what caused the fall, or how long she lay there before someone found her.

Everyone was incredibly friendly at Waterstone, and helpful when my sister moved in. Also, the new head of nursing is raising the bar on the support being provided by the aides.

My mom says the meals are so so. Too much starch for her. They often run out of things on the menu, is why I give it a 3. I would recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had so far.

The staff has been there for years, some over 20 years. They are very engaged with the residents. and based on the experience we have had so far I would recommend this community to other families

Overall great place. Nursing care and organization is not the greatest and they seem to struggle with the food and cooks area but overall good. Based on the experience we have had, we would recommend them to other families.

We have no complaints with Dominion, but we moved our loved one to [community name removed] which is closer to our family. We would recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had.

My father, who has Alzheimer's, has been happy there. They've been very supportive. I would recommend to others.

We have used Dominion Senior Living of Richmond twice now, for respite care for my loved one. This facility is a great place and is always clean. It is expensive, as they all are, but the care is great. The staff is so good, sweet and very kind. I would recommend Dominion Senior Living of Richmond to others.

Families MUST visit often, develop friendships so they will always be aware of what's going on that's not seen or told, ask questions, be involved with loved ones care at all times on every level no matter how small.

I would recommend, I just think they have some kinks to iron out as management has recently changed. I feel that communication efforts could improve and staffing to patient ratio in memory care needs to increase.

Dad's room is not always clean when I visit. The carpet does not appear to be vacuumed, the entryway does not appear that it has been cleaned. And the bathroom never seems clean especially the toilet area. Staff is cordial but it's not always available. There are times that I have called and never get a person to talk to on the other end. [name removed] at the reception desk is exceptional! No complaints about the food Dad said he walks the parking lot but I'm not aware of any other activities that he participates in. Value for the money I believe is fair but I don't agree with having to pay extra $$ every month to encourage residents to take their meds

Dominion Senior Living of Bristol is a very clean, convenient facility. They seem to be short staffed as most, if not all, other LTC facilities are these days. However, the staff that is there seem to really get to know and care about the residents. [names removed] are wonderful to work with!! They're always having special events, outings, and activities for the residents. I'm pleased with how much better my mother is doing since being at Dominion. The facility, [name removed] in Knoxville, was horrible so this place has been the best thing for my mother. I always see family and friends visiting residents which is another good thing for the entire community.

The staff are kind and caring at this facility. It is always very clean. My brother's room is clean and cozy. He has improved on his strength and walking abilities. I am always contacted in a timely manner if there are any issues .

I'd say it's a nice welcoming community. The size of the community is good. It's not too big and it's easy to get around. The staff seem to try and get to know not only the resident but the whole family!

Administrative staff has been great. Based on what my sister shares, the food served is not very tasty. I think that they could have more of a variety on the menu.
