Spring Arbor Senior Living

They did have some water damage recently. The pipes froze and burst a few weeks ago - but that was no fault of theirs. Other than that, things are going pretty well so far.

I thought Spring Arbor was a nice facility based off of our tour experience. I was just more impressed by another place and it seemed to be a better fit,

I toured this community and it was good. Nice tour, everyone seemed friendly.

They had staffing problems, which have seemed to level out. They are working hard. The food could be better. They can improve by adding, more fresh veggies/fruits. The staff is very friendly, and thoughtful. They havel limited outside space, and the residents don't have transportation. So those are other things, that theycan improve on.

Staff have been courteous, respectful, and professional., The staff are attentive to the residents and friendly.

We love that our brother is able to stay there

The staff is wonderful. They keep us up-to-date on Mom and her situation. The caregivers have also been very nice. My mom feels really comfortable and safe there, and that's important to us.

We liked the community. The location was convenient for the family.

I toured The Gables on Pelham and it was a good tour. We chose another community because The Gables is a multi-care and multi-level community. My brother has dementia; we preferred a one story community to avoid confusion.

From our point of view - we think Beach House Jacksonville has been a very positive experience. I think the staff are all angels that are doing their best, they are all so friendly. It is a God send that we were able to find this place and the location is where they lived their whole life so it is perfect. They have plenty of activities provided for the residents, if you want to do something you can and if you do not, you don't have to. I would absolutely recommend the facility to others families.

Our family had an in person tour and the experience was really good. Overall it was a very nice community and it was a hard choice

This was an open concept with recliners. However, they didn't take hoyer lifts for my loved one.

The cleanliness is getting better. It's very expensive. The staff is very friendly, they are willing to listen, and don't brush you off. They are always willing to offer suggestions, and work together with the family. The financial assistance, could be improved. We chose this place over others, because it's close to our home, and is a very good location.

One of several tours was nice, have a hard decision to make.

My mother has adjusted to her new living environment at Spring Arbor largely due to the caring and wonderful staff and friendly people who live there. The nursing staff in particular are great and they have given me reassurance through their care that moving Mom to Spring Arbor was the right decision. Mom loves the food. She has complained about gaining weight (which is not a problem for her)! Variety is part of the meal planning with an emphasis on healthy, nutritional meals. This is important to Mom and she appreciates the attention to healthy meal planning. If there is a constructive comment that I could make it would be to add some new and different activities to the roster such as tutorials on use of technology, guest speakers on a variety of topics, and resuming the bus tours of close-in places of interest.

It is a lovely place, but overall great with no major concerns.

Spring Arbor of Crofton was an older facility, so it needed some updating, and the room size was smaller. There was nothing wrong with it- we just preferred more new/fresh.

Spring Arbor of Severna Park looked okay, but they just really didn't seem to be prepared to give the tour.

We had a pretty good tour experience with The Gables on Pelham. But after talking with the sales staff, story #1 and story #2 that he gave us were not adding up so we just figured this would not be the best fit for our loved one.
