Spring Arbor Senior Living

In searching out, reviewing and visiting several facilities it came down to choosing Wickshire. From the moment my son and I walked in we felt welcomed and the hospitality offered was very appreciated. The facility is bright and cheery with lots of activities going on. The staff knew each patient by name in the hallways and were very friendly. Mother in law is actually being transferred there today and we feel very comfortable. And last but not least [name removed] was wonderful to work with and made the whole process easy.

In looking for places with assisted living and memory care options I had toured Spring Arbor and several other locations and called A Place For Mom. Both were especially helpful. A Place For Mom sent me several other possible locations. Spring Arbor was nice looking and offered many daily activities and rooms with private baths. The fact that Spring Arbor was willing to work with my dad in assisted living who has early stages of dementia was the major deciding factor to place him there. The process to place him there was explained and the paperwork was straight forward. All of the personnel that I've met are very friendly and helpful.

There is no complaints about the food. They offer wonderful activites, but my loved one does not participate. We picked this community, because they had a vacancy and I liked location. The staff is outstanding, and just wonderful. I am very pleased. I would like them to improve on, giving me updates on any concerns with my loved one. I would recommend to other families.

The community was among on the lower end of pricing of the communities we looked at. This has been a good experience for the family and our loved one. The staff communication with the family is wonderful! They keep us updated on any concerns or changes about our loved one. The staff are responsive to our questions as well. Some of the activities offered include group exercises, church services, arts and crafts, and more for the residents to participate in.

I thought Dominion of Anderson was really nice. It was a lot newer than the palace we chose. But it was so big that I thought it would be overwhelming for my mom. They also didn't allow smoking or have a designated smoking area for the residents, which I understand is a health consideration but is a tough situation for a smoker of 50+ years.

Our family had an in person tour and we felt it had great facilities, it was just much more expensive for what we could afford. They had really nice folks there.

I have been at Spring Arbor for a month. The administrative and residential care staff are caring, knowledgeable and well prepared to meet my needs. They provide the care and support they say they are going to do. The dining staff are very attentive and courteous, the meal preparation, variety and the desserts keep me happy. My only complaint is too much great food and snacks, but I love it. Spring Arbor was an excellent choice for my care and my daughter's peace of mind.

I could not ask for better place. They was wonderful. They was so good to me and him. He was clean and he was not interested in leaving. I plan on leaving him there again in oct. Oh yes my girl was so pleased they tell everyone about the great care he got and we would recommend this community to other families based on our experience.

It is amazing how fast they personalize the relationship between you and the facility. The staff learns the families' names and calls you by name, which is important to me. Within the first or second week, everyone working with Mama knew who I was, from administration to the housekeeping staff. That was amazing to me. When a new patient moves in, they make sure everybody on that patient's hall knows all about the resident and their family. The staff are all very friendly They've created a consistent daily schedule for my mom and really strive to put their best foot forward. Any time I ask for a list of her meds, they've provided it promptly. The facility is clean. They offer great activities geared toward their residents, and they come and ask every time if she wants to go. They have Cornhole, Bingo, Canasta, Jackpot, outings outside of the facility, etc. The people running the facility are on top of everything, so much so that I wonder how they do it. Any requests/concerns are taken care of right away. It's a very nice facility. You pay more, but you get a lot more.

This was a nice community and was a bit more spruced up than another community I toured. I liked the homey feel at another community more.

Dominion of Frankfort is the place to go when needed. We've been very pleased. They take good care of our loved one and watch over her. She likes the food. And they seem to include us a lot and encourage family involvement.

I toured this community and loved it! The main street is very cute and right up my mothers ally. The patio area is beautiful and open. I am excited to make the next step! The sales lady and other people i encountered were so friendly and nice.

Most of the staff are very caring. From the cook, the housekeepers, salon staff, nurses, caregivers, office staff and directors. They have good communication with family members and even came to visit us during a hospital stay. My advice would be to visit often and get to know all of them. Visit different days of the week and different times of the day. Build a relationship with those who are caring for your loved one. This particular location seems to have a good employer satisfaction and cohesiveness policy, which if a facility has happy staff you will have happy residents!

This facility is exceptional. Everyone is on a first name basis here. The staff is very caring, they're over and above. The Executive Director is very hands on and always doing things around the facility. He's always smiling, willing to help, and involved. During the transition, I told him that we were concerned about being able to get my sister's medications to bring with her upon move in. He told me that if we couldn't, to let him know and that he would have them ready for her no problem. The Dr and Nurse Practitioner are great. The Dr is a certified Geriatric Physician, which I think is great. The food is absolutely amazing. Everything that I've seen looks gourmet and it's never pre-packaged. They offer a very balanced diet that's not high sugar or high carb. They have Sunday Worship Services and accommodate all Faiths. They have many activities and outings, which you can see the residents look forward to. One day I went to pick my sister up for a dr appt and she was upset that she had to miss an outing to go to the Dr. She really enjoys the outings, they all do. Recent outings have included: an evening ride to see Christmas lights, Ceramics Class, and going out to eat. Another great thing, they bill you for outings so that the residents don't have to worry about carrying cash. They keep the residents busy here and are always doing things to stimulate their brains and keep them active. This facility is very affordable and a flat all inclusive monthly rate, the only extra charges are for the outings. All in all, we're very happy with this facility! I have and will continue to recommend this facility to family and friends.

They've helped me a lot. They are very good with my mom. They got her calmer and have worked out her meds. They are very protective of her and treat her very well. I love the staff - everybody is friendly. They stay in contact with me and let me know what's going on. They serve high quality food and offer a lot of activities. I initially had sticker shock with the price, but I did shop around, and they're in line with other places.

My mom was only here for a few months, the staff was incredible! The facility is very nice.

Spring Arbor has just been a wonderful experience for our family. Our loved one seems to be adjusting very well and she is being well taken care of. The staff members are incredibly personable - we have had no issues there at all. They have her in all types of occupational and physical therapy classes. Their activities board is full every day - they have musical entertainment, movie nights as well as field trips .

The staff in all sections of White Springs are excellent and very caring of their residents and treat them like extended family. We would absolutely recommend this community based on the experience we have had so far.

This has been an excellent experience for the family and our loved one. The building is clean and beautiful. The staff is friendly and caring. They are very knowledgeable and they are willing to listen to my loved one. There are three meals a day provided and the residents are able to order off a menu.
