Spectrum Retirement

I've been here nearly eight months in independent living. I have a one bedroom + den with a full kitchen, bath, and my own laundry facilities. If anything is not working, the maintenance staff is right there with needed services. I think the food menu and service is very good. Other amenities are a great social program, transport for shopping and/or medical care, and an enclosed garage for my car. The staff are professional, friendly, and always helpful. The building is about 3-4 years old, and quite modern with tasteful decor. I looked at three other places before coming here. I am very glad to have chosen the Oaks!

There isn't anything bad I can say about the facility. The staff is awesome. The facility is extremely clean. I can't think of a better place to have a loved one with dementia live out there life. My mom can be a handful at times but the staff is still patient with her

I am glad that we picked three oaks be cause my mom is very happy here and she participates in most events the facility has a lot of things for the residents to do and take part in they also let you stay as long as you want and they have a way with getting them to do things without forcing them I think this is a very clean and friendly facility and the care is beyond excellent I would highly recommend.

My mom lived at the Streamwood Westbrook, in memory care, for over eight years. The facility is light, bright and Wonderful! Mom was pretty self sufficient when she moved in and loved it! When she needed more help, all of the staff were very respectful and caring. They became our family! When she passed there was nothing but respect for her and hugs and love for our family. So, when my 96 year old Father-in-law needed help, that was the place for him! His apartment is bright and overlooks the pond. He loves seeing any wildlife he can. He has made many friends and participates in many of the activities that are offered. Once again, the respect from everyone there is great! He really enjoys it there!

So far we are very happy with our choice in Palos verdes. They have been very helpful and professional the entire process of moving my mom in. Staff seem to have a genuine care for their residents. Staff also know their residents by name which is also a very personal touch.

I have visited Lake Travis Independent Living for a few months now and I have nothing but Amazing things to say, the Office staff is truly dedicated and committed to their Resident's. The Community itself is beautiful, the Residents seem to really enjoy it here as I am always greeted with a smile.

There are a number of wonderful assisted living homes in the lake county area. However, if you are looking for the best of the best, you need to look no further than Cedar Lake Assisted Living and Memory Care. This outstanding community is located in Lake Zurich IL. The most important component of a facility of this nature must be the personnel who will be caring for your family member. Without a doubt, the staff and medical staff are superb. All are warm, genuine and at the top of their game when it comes to the needs of each resident. The facility is clean, beautiful and extremely well maintained. My two sisters are cared for here, and I am so pleased I found this place for them . I hope I will never need this type of care, but if I ever do, this will be my new home.

I moved to Burr Ridge Senior living one month ago: This was the best decision I ever made! The staff is excellent and all the residents are welcoming! I have to say the food is delicious too! I rate Burr Ridge a ten out of ten!!

My sister has been at Lone Mountain for around 9 months. I visit her at least 3 times a week for a couple hours. The staff is amazing! They really care about their residents. An abundance of activities is always going on. They even have live musicians there at least twice a week! My sister loves it there, which I think is rare due to the type of facility. That's due to the respect all of the resident's receive. We never pass an employee without someone happily greeting my sister and calling her by name. I have gone all times of the day, just dropping in, and have never seen anything but a great facility. The food is delicious and nutritious, too.

My mother used to live at this community until she passed away. She would always go to all of the activities and made so many friends when she was there. She made friends with the staff there as well and they all because close with her. Mom always spoke so highly of the community and how professional everyone was. As much as corporate greed is out there... and Spectrum is no different, the front line staff really went out of their way to keep my moms interests at the forefront of their minds. Thank you!!

The staff at Palos were great to work with when I was looking for a place for my mom to move after she had a bad fall at home along with some health problems. Since she has moved into Palos she had done very well and is back to her old self. The staff, the activities, the residents and welcoming atmosphere have made a big difference in her life and is much better than when she lived alone. She has been able to continue her physical therapy on site to maintain the progress she made in rehab and she really likes the availablity of the medical group (doctors and nurse practicioners) that comes to the facility every week to check on her. It has been a great move for my mom and our family. We know she is safe and well cared for at Palos.

Palmilla has a wonderful environment, caring staff, a variety of activities, and delicious food. My mother felt comfortable in her apartment right away and found the other residents very friendly.

I would recommend this place because its the best. The food is good sometimes. Housekeepers are great! I like the activities and its a a fun place to live. I have lots of friends and I help lead bingo. You wont regret it!

The amount of activities I participarlte in. Crafts, learning, Ted talks and more. Bowling is always a favorite. The movie selection is always good. Cooking, painting, crafting, and more exciting things. We did a beautiful shadow box. Im learning new things and am excited! There is just opportunity after opportunity of things to do to spend my time.

I Love the staff and how they listen and hep her with what ever issues I have, socializing is so important and the wonderful friendships mean the world to me. [name removed]is a wonderful place to live, I recommend it to all

I would like to say I appreciate the Executive Director helping me get my purchased parking place back as someone parked in my spot. I appreciate the kitchen serving more beef & pork rather than chicken so frequently. It is nice to have real ice cream! I have seen improvements in the food.

I like it here at The Enclave of Chandler. I have found the employees to be very nice. I have most enjoyed meeting all my new friends. I participate in all activities. I especially enjoy participating in the various craft classes. I really enjoy the different guest speakers that we have come in. They make it fun and understandable for everyone @

The community has a lot to do which I participate in when I can. Very nice apartment that is convenient with my husbands wheelchair. Have met some nice residents. The managers are very nice helping with our needs.

My mom felt so welcomed by the staff & the willingness to make sure her move in was as easy as possible. The staff also made sure she met other residents right away so that she’d make new friends & the transition into assisted living was so easy

Palos Heights Senior Living is a beautiful place. It was clean, comfortably decorated, and easy to navigate. The staff were helpful and knowledgeable, and the residents were friendly and welcoming. There were many activities available for residents as well!
