Don't believe a word they are telling you. Management are a complete joke. Don't give them any money up front they will steal it from you. Take my advise I have been at a few of these places. this is by far the shadiest by far. Go somewhere else for your loved ones.

My relative was there for less than a week due to their inability to adequately contain him. We were forced to provide 24hr oversight until we found another facility. Worst medical care experience my family has ever had.

My loved one was here for an extremely short time period; however, due to a behavioral issue the community sent my loved one to the hospital. The entire time the community told the family that our loved one would be able to come back to community. The hospital sent my loved one in an ambulance to the community, and then the community refused my loved one to be re-admitted to the community. I found this out once my loved one arrived, and then the Director of Nursing stated that the community couldn't take my loved one due to the meds. I agreed to remove the med from my loved one's regimen, and then they stated my loved one still couldn't come back.

My Mother has been resident since [date removed]. We are constantly informing the staff, including the Director, that her room is not being cleaned thoroughly. Floor is dirty, food tray is stained with spilled food, sheets are not being washed, dust is accumulating on counter. We moved her there because she was unable to do housecleaning chores and we did not want her to live in unsanitary conditions. Well, she is still living in unsanitary condition and we are paying for this?

Beautiful building and great residents. Weak leadership and poor care. Look somewhere else unless you like being mistreated.

After trying to work with numerous front office personnel (turnover is high) for over a year to get correct invoicing & claims paperwork - finally moved parent to new location. Due to their inability to complete a single-page form to be submitted to Longterm Health Care Provider for reimbursement of living at Park Meadows - we paid for several months that Longterm Health Care Insurance would have covered...if Park Meadows would have just checked a few boxes. They don't respond to emails or return phone calls. They blame new computer programs for their inabilities to do their jobs. Previous EDs failed to send out communications regarding price increases/changes in billing/etc. Had to call HQ to get a correct final invoice. The only good thing was the nursing staff and nurses aides. They were wonderful. Parent now at new facility and everyone happy & paperwork is done correctly & personnel communicate timely. Not recommended.

My dad lives there, but looking to move him. Care is horrible he was left in the bathroom pushing the call button for help for 50 minutes. There are no nurses to give medications and he has completely missed medications on multiple days every month. The Director never returns phone calls, always has her door closed and is more concerned with her looks and leaving early than she is that your dad isn't getting the care he is paying for.

I took my mom here because at first it looked clean and everything was new. After a many months of complaining about understaffing, not properly trained caretakers we decided to move my mom. Unfortunately we never got to move her because fell several times (I was not notified) and she died.

Do NOT send your loved one to this community. The staff were incompetent and the executive director was even worse. They could not handle a patient who had Alzheimer’s- sent him away after two weeks. They memory care unit only takes those who are drugged enough to not cause any issues or challenges. And trying to get the executive director to follow up on anything was like pulling teeth. No empathy to the resident’s situation. They are strictly a business. Go to Parkland or a dedicated memory care facility if your loved one has Alzheimer’s.

It took over five weeks for the doctor to see my loved one. The person in charge of memory care was let go after dealing with them in getting my loved one's medications set up and it still wasn't completed. I am waiting on a call back from the director and it is going on week two. There are problems at Peakview with communication and some staff members. I would never recommend the community to others. We are looking for a new place for my loved one to move to because of the problems we have had here. [Name removed] is great to work with and is trying to turn things around, she is overwhelmed with the work she has to do.

Too expensive. Recently told price for Mom would increase to $72,000 a year for a 400sf studio assisted living room with high level care and services. Found brand new alternative for $51,000 a year. Similar friendly staff, same high level service and care, for $21,000 a year less. Shop around and avoid locking in that $2000 nonrefundable community fee.

Our father was fully vaccinated for Covid. He contracted Covid during an outbreak of the virus in Sept/Oct 2021 at Lincoln Meadows, resulting in him being extremely sick and in the hospital for 4 weeks. During Dad’s hospital stay, we did not receive ANY communication from the staff at Lincoln Meadows. We notified the front desk twice that dad was sick and asked for help getting him a Covid test. We were given ridiculous advice to take our elderly sick father to his family doctor for a Covid test as they did not have any testing in the facility. After notification of his illness, Lincoln Meadows did not quarantine dad, but allowed him to go into the dining room and all over the building. They showed total lack of concern about dad’s illness and its impact on other residents. During Oct. 2021, COVID at Lincoln Meadows increased to 17 cases.. This outbreak could have been prevented if appropriate procedures were implemented.

When I moved in they were fully staffed, tons of activities, fantastic place. In the last few months every person who was terrific has left to go other places. The trash rooms are filled and disgusting, the carpets are stained and so many really wonderful people have quit to go else where.

Missed meals. No response when pendant pushed for assistance. Backed up toilets and there's no plumber or plunger on site. Rude staff. Lost paperwork containing confidential information.

Too far from me

We've had so many problems since my Dad moved in in [date removed]: forgotten medicine, cleanings that only occur sporadically, incredibly high staff turnover, terrible communication. When I saw that this place won an "award" because of reviews on this website and the senioradvisor website, I wanted to give my two cents. Why completely ignore Google and BBB reviews? Avoid Creve Coeur Assisted Living or other Spectrum facilities if at all possible.

They told us to come at 12:00 but then said they weren’t feeding people not living there. So there was no way to know if my father would like the food so we cancled

I was only at The Enclave for two months before they shut everything down due to COVID. Since then the dining and food service would be a zero out of five. The quality is just not good, it is served cold and not served in an appetizing way. It is not consistent at all.
