I had a tour of this community for my loved one and I have to say that I was not very impressed with how things went . The lady that gave us our tour was not friendly and just seemed annoyed throughout the entire visit. She did seem interested in our needs at all and I felt disrespected. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Park Meadows is pretty and that's about it. It does look clean. The executive director is too young and does not tell the truth. She is always unavailable. She also posts inappropriate things on face book. Care services are lacking. Activities are redundant at times. This review is for the independent, assisted and memory care. I would not want my loved one living there.

Too expensive, not open eating [Removed] is asked to wake up at 4:30am to go to breakfast ( second shift ) for 8:30am breakfast!! Unexception so we spoke to people there and now they are changing it !!!! We feel sorry for the people who can't speak for themselves! Service level went up by 4% and rental went up by 3% for the year !! Way too expensive!!

My mother lived at the Gardens of Ocotillo for 1.5 years. When she moved in, she lived in the AL, but was very independent. All was well until she had a stroke. This community wasn't there for us at all. They made our situation more stressful then it already was. They asked us to buy a hospital bed, hire our own private caregivers, etc. The Gardens caregivers complained (even in front of me) because they wanted to do the least work possible. Accompanying a resident to lunch or reminding them its dinner was probably their best work. Turnover was constant (the place was only open for 2 years), but heck, their dining staff was better trained then the caregivers or their company directors. If your parent just needs a pretty place, where someone can do their laundry and cook meals then all is well. DO NOT think your parent will age in place here. They will age, but they will soon be out of a place if anything real happens to them. My family was treated poorly after mom’s illness and the only way for her to recover was to leave. The Gardens of Ocotillo pretended they cared, but two weeks after mom’s illness made it very apparent they did not. Look at the contract closely. There are all types of ways for them to not care for your parent or pretend they require more than they need. They can also give you 14-day notice. Just try to find a loving community and make the switch that quick. This is why the Gardens cost less than other communities. It is a big bait and switch. We left for a new community and mom is thankfully doing great. She is healing and the caregivers are knowledgeable and professional

Horrible, terrifying experience...they want your money and could care less about your loved ones. When we called to-complain after being hung up on by [Removed] answered finally and acted like she was answering the phone for a pizza joint...really like we didn't know the number we called how unprofessional is that? All we wanted was for a dr or nurse to call us the family for guidance....my recomendation you will definately get better care elsewhere for a lot less...

I am very disappointed in the care my grandpa has received over the last year. Palmia continues to raise the price for "extra" care in the memory unit. He has fallen the last two days and today was rushed to emergency room. This has been his 6th visit to ER since November. The staff has no idea what's going on and continue to place blame on other employees.

The whole building has bed bugs in all the apartments. My mother has complained numerous times without resolution. If not fixed soon we will be moving her out

I was not happy. There was a lack of communication between the different staff in the departments. They expect the residents to advocate for themselves, so there was a lack of supervision. They also seemed to have a lack of follow through. It's a new place, and they are understaffed, and not very well trained. When someone goes out sick there is no replacement. The young ladies that work on the day to day staff are okay. They are pretty unorganized. The facility is beautiful and the food is good, but the care is not there. I was not impressed.

Highpoint is horrible!!! My grandmother was there for only one hour and ended up falling and being hospitalized. They would not help her, they would not go evaluate her to see if she was a good fit afterwards, they would not refund us the down payment of $2,000. It was horrible.

This facility is not all it's cracked up to be. The floor plan, staging, and exterior may look great, but it's lipstick on a pig. There's an unusual turn over in staffing - even in management, considering there have been at least 5 directors or more in the last 2 years. Caregiving staff is always short (and marketing sells this idea of "private caregivers for each resident" which is far from the truth). There's really only 1 caregiver scheduled for at least 20-25 residents in the assisted living area alone - and that's when they are not short-staffed! In addition, there's always new faces in the dining room practically from week to week! Lincoln Meadows is extremely over priced with costs for just living (with NO assistance) in AL starting around $4200+ per month. God forbid your loved one actually needs assistance in the Assisted Living section of the community - escorting, med passing, dressing toileting, and bedmaking (just to name a few) can add thousands of dollars more to the cost of living at this not-so-great facility. And take my word for it, you are NOT getting your money's worth!!!! Management is incompetent and doesn't actually "know" any of the residents. If you ask them a question about your parent/loved one, you will get a more honest and accurate update from the caregivers, NOT the nurses or administrator - I guarantee it!!! I have never seen any of the nurses on staff "working" on the floor. Instead they sit in the office doing only God knows what. No wonder they don't know their residents! The dining staff is very rude, and the food is not that great. Residents may have to wait at least 45 minutes or more just to be served in the dining room! Also, If you look more closely - inside the facility - you will see the building is not all that clean either. The laundry rooms seem to ALWAYS have broken machines, no laundry soap, and/or is not clean. You can walk past some of the residents' rooms (if their door is open) and the apartments reek of foul odors. There have also been hints of verbal/physical abuse from caregiver to resident, and [removed]/intimidation from management to staff. This is the short version of my observation, but I wouldn't recommend this facility to my worse enemy!!!!!!

Westview is a wonderful place for your loved one if they are a problem free resident. If your loved one needs a little bit more personalized care or extra attention, this is not the place. Our loved one was doing fine until he had a couple of issues commonly found with dementia patients. Westview called an ambulance in a non-emergency situation, without our permission and without notifying us. Our loved one was sent alone in the ambulance to the hospital where he waited by himself until we were able to arrive. We were then notified that he was not to return to Westview. Luckily, we found a place that is capable and willing to care for our father.

They say that they're assisted living and memory care but they are not equipped to accommodate assisted living, or they don't realize what they are really supposed to be. They would let her sleep through meals. They called me to tell me that she needed to go to the E.R., they called me instead of 911. They sent the wrong patients records with us.

I pulled my loved one out after 3 weeks, we were very disappointed in our experience. They did not care for my loved one as they should have been. They did not cater activities to individuals interests of the residents. They were not following any covid social distancing protocols in the memory care unit and 15 out of the 24 residents got it. Right before we left, they got a new nurse and I think she has good potential. I would tell others that the meds are completely separate cost from the levels of care. It is a nice looking facility but is not well run.

I would tell others that I have photos of my mom's dirty neck, so she was not bathed or cleaned. One of the receptionists was very condescending almost to a point of being rude whenever you would call. Their Covid protocols were a joke. My mom's medications were mixed up when she was here. It was an awful experience. We were here less than 30 days when we knew we needed to get her out, and they never refunded our deposit. Once we told them we were leaving, they gave her all this extra stuff and tried to make things right, so we knew it was all a show. I would not recommend to others looking.

This place is a beautiful but expensive warehouse for old people. You pay top dollar for sub standard care. There is not enough staff for the needs of the residents. Now they have taken the cookies away and want all the residents to supply their own garbage bags now, also there is a computer instead of a person who takes your food order. Maybe we should just get an expensive apartment and order Grub Hub. Save your money and live with your kids.

I could not explain how unorganized this place is my mother has been her for years and the charge nurse does not know is role at all he wanted the nurse to call me instead of the er of my mothers condition he is never on the floor always avoiding problems when it comes to residents falling never to be found sits in his office for nine hours a day doesn’t even know the residents that are truly there I give all the respect to the caregivers they go through so much while there boss just sits in his office all day long doing nothing that’s just ashamed very fake boss over there he has no respect for anyone!!!!

Housekeep is infrequent and shoddy at best. Food is terrible. This place is in a nosedive!

When we arrived at my Grandma’s today, she was sitting in a big pile of pee, everything wet. They are supposed to take her to dinner at 4, but no one was anywhere to be found. We had to clean her up, change her & take her to dinner. They finally took her dinner order at 5:30pm, while we continue to clean the mess in her apartment. This has happened in several occasions, we pay extra to have them help her with the bathroom, but they don’t. Other times, she’s been totally dehydrated because they don’t refill her water. The facility looks nice, but they are failing at the basic care they are supposed to provide. Very disappointed.

I am very disappointed in the lack of transportation opportunities that the Enclave offers. Also, I was told before I moved here that the food would be prepared by the chef. Well most of the time I eat off the regular menu. I am getting tired of hamburgers.

This place is a huge disappointment. My parent has lived there since it opened and let me tell you that the pictures and what is promised is NOT what you get. Staff turnover is ridiculous -constantly someone new and then they’re gone. The dining room is the biggest disaster- always understaffed. Seniors should look forward to the dining experience but they have to wait so long to be served that sometimes they get up and leave and that’s unacceptable! The food is below average and recently they did away with the elegant white tablecloths and now use plastic placemats and you have to ASK for water, jelly, condiments, etc. They used to have glasses and a pitcher of ice water on every table but now it’s gone. The bistro seldom has any snacks so I have to buy groceries for my mom in addition to the expensive rent she already pays. Housekeeping is hit or miss and my mom never knows when she will get her shower because the resident assistants don’t always come when they’re supposed to. The staff for the most part is friendly but there’s a huge problem with mismanagement here. They can’t seem to find and keep a director. Right now there is a temporary one and the previous directors were very disliked. Seniors do not like change! They want to feel like it was in their own homes but all I hear is complaining from the residents about how everything has gone downhill and it’s only been open for a couple years. I’m embarrassed that I chose this place for my mom because it is not like the brochure and what was promised. I’m looking at other senior communities and would not recommend Green Oaks to anyone. My mom's last years shouldn’t be stressful.
