Don’t let the looks deceive you. If you have a family member that resides here I suggest putting in your 30 day notice and look elsewhere. Not only did they SKIP calling the primary emergency contact they harassed me trying to force me to come forcibly take my grandfather away. They seem to not understand the law at all in regards to well anything dealing with seniors. I received incorrect information about my legal limitations with my grandfather. The woman that “welcomed” us gave inaccurate information about what an assisted living facility could do bs an independent living. The director panicked and called me in the middle of his panic again trying to get me to break the law and commit assault on my grandfather. This place is only after your money. Please please research further.

I wish I could give this place zero stars. They are sneaky, and negligent They used to be great and now things have gone way down hill. There are no RNs on staff. There is not enough staff. My Grandmother was in there. They did not shower her for 3 days and left her smelly and dirty. She fell and fractured her knee and they said nothing was wrong. We found out from the ER it was fractured for several weeks. They allowed her to drink out of a dirty, smelly rusted water bottle and just kept refilling it without washing it. People stole things from her room One of the aides was caught dragging her out of the dining area. She fell out of bed and no one knew for at least an hour and then they moved her not knowing if she had a broken neck or back and could have paralyzed her, said the EMTs moved her and then admitted they were the ones that moved her. When she got to the hospital she was anemic and very dehydrated. Please keep your loved ones away from here It isn't safe. If something happens they are sneaky and lie. When my Grandmother was taken to the hospital they sent people over and tried to get her records, which is against the law. Finding great care for a loved one with dementia is so hard. This is not one you should consider. Also be careful looking at some of the reviews on other sites like Google, as some are from their employees

When my wife's disease progressed to the point that I could no longer care for her, we found Mountain Park Senior Living. In the beginning (2017), we could not believe our luck in finding a place to care for my wife. In the 18-months that my wife was in Memory Care, the staff has almost completely turned-over and the cost of care has risen nearly 40%. Last month, my wife passed. I am currently trying to get the unused pro-rated rent monies returned to my bank account. The only way (according to MPSL lawyers) is to make the check payable to my wife - you know - the dead woman. Good luck to the rest of you.

Mom was a memory care resident at westview of Ellisville, we had to move her out because of lack of care, rudeness by staff, and despite numerous complaints, no changes were made. All of the best staff have left because of the meanest, laziness and uncaring behaviors of the director and her staff. I don’t understand how that continues. Is the administration blind to what is really going on?

Terrible food! OH my Lord! They’ve got to be kidding!!! I wouldn’t feed my pets what they serve!!!!

When you get older, the quality of the meals you eat is important not only to the quality of your life, but often, to the quantity -- the remaining years you have left. Seniors frequently do not get enough nutrition, and they can experience serious health issues as a result. So it was especially dispiriting to hear from our aged relative that the quality and quantity of food provided at Rigden has declined dramatically, apparently as the result of a corporate initiative to cut costs. We are moving our relative out, and advise other children who are considering a place for their mom or dad to pick an establishment more consistently committed to residents well being. We are seriously disappointed in Rigden Farm. Beware. Former glowing reviews are no longer operative.

PLEASE do not send your loved one to this facility. My father was at Lincoln Meadows so he could receive an IV antibiotic prior to his surgery scheduled on 1/22/18. He never made it to surgery. To say that the facility is understaffed is only a part of the problem. Much of the staff we came in contact with did not have the skills necessary to be dealing with sick patients. Even more egregious, my father's chart/medical records did not represent the true state of what was occurring at the facility. It was a blatant attempt on the part of the facility to exonerate itself of any wrongdoing. We entrusted Lincoln Meadows with the care of our father, and they failed him in every respect. It is such a tragedy because it should not have ended the way that it did. The night that he passed, I called the facility three times, pleading with them to do something. He was dehydrated and his body was shutting down. I demanded that I speak to him, and when they held the phone up to his ear, he was incoherent. The nurse tried to tell me that he was sleepy as I argued that that was not the case; he needed to be sent to the hospital. We got the call five hrs. later that he had passed away at the facility. To add insult to injury -- the disrespect shown to my father's body, after the fact, was appalling. The facility had at least 30-45 minutes to "clean him up" prior to our arrival. IMAGINE walking into my father's OPEN room to find him completely naked, gown covered in vomit and twisted to the side of his neck like a noose, with his face covered by a towel. That is an image I will have to live with for the rest of my life. Now, IMAGINE that once he was "presentable", you heard your mother scream because staff had forgotten to unplug his bed and his lifeless body began to move, making her think that he had come back to life. IMAGINE that you are the last person in the room with him, holding his hand, praying over his body, and waiting for a funeral home representative to appear. IMAGINE that instead of a funeral home representative, you feel the arm of a Lincoln Meadows staff member brush up against yours as she attempts to offer your deceased father his meal tray. IMAGINE that you have been living with this nightmare since 12/29/2017. IMAGINE having to live with the guilt and anger of having put him there in the first place. My goal in writing this is to save someone the heartache of what we've had to endure.

If I had been reviewing this place on early, first impression, I would have ranked it 4 or 5 stars as many others did, and chosen this place for my parent to live (which is why my parent is a resident here) - HOWEVER beware that things have not lived up to promises! While the apartments are lovely and the people living in them are great, Green Oaks does not seem to be living up to their promises. The dining room is alway understaffed. Often staff members are pulled in from other places to fill in from assisted living, front desk, maintenance, and even the chef. Even though food is supposed to be served restaurant style, for at least the last two weeks there has only been a buffet - which is particularly challenging for residents with mobility issues. My parent says they have the same offerings for lunch and dinner with the scheduled dinner time to rotate residents through. Even with this, I hear sometimes there are no plates or silverware and very little staff to even man the buffet. Previous to the buffets, I have dined with my mother on at least five occasions. Generally the service is slow and erratic, and the plates are rarely cleared or spots at tables turned over to allow for community seating. Clearly the work environment is not a good one, be it lack of training, poor pay, no benefits, possibly difficult chef, terrible shift schedules, or lack of leadership. Probably all of the above. There must be a reason why they are unable to fine and maintain a quality staff. The bistro that was advertised as a second option or alternative to the main dining room where residents could get a soup, sandwich, snack, or coffee at anytime, never seems to be stocked with much of anything, maybe a couple bananas or 3 or 4 hard boiled eggs. Even though when my mom toured another Spectrum facility the bistro was staffed and had a chilled case with sandwiches, salads, yogurt, chip, snacks, and a pot of hot soup. As this facility was recently built and just opened in August of 2017, I have suspended judgment until they were up and fully running with most residents moved in, hoping that the food service would improve, but if anything it has only declined. All of this is especially disconcerting for residents who are paying a lot for a place that offers taking this full meal plan as the only option. I do feel like it's been going on long enough that reparations should be made for services not rendered. There is crazy high staff turn over.

We are very unhappy with [Removed]. She is unprofessional and unresponsive to our concerns. We will be moving immediately following the holidays. Westview was once a fun, loving facility. That warmth and family feeling are gone.

These people are the worst! They lied to me on numerous occasions. I had put down a deposit for a room. They promised to promptly refund my deposit promptly if I changed my mind. I decided not to move in. Getting my money back was a long, painful experience. Do not trust these people!!

Cedar Lake was near our home, so it was a convenient choice. Plus, they talked a good game, however, in the end, it was just a basket of promises. Our loved was unattended most of the time (we checked!) and experienced several falls as she declined. She passed away before we could move her, but the bottom line is this. Two caregivers for 20+ residents is just unsafe, especially when they are busy playing card games together rather than monitoring the residents (night or day). One particular management staffer was more concerned about "rules" than the comfort of our loved one as she was dying. Our time at Cedar Lake was just absolutely dreadful and stressful..

The sales director Brenda is rude! There are much better choices in the area at half the cost.

My mother lives there and she is extrememly upset with what she has overheard caregivers gossiping about in the laundry and rooms. [removed] Mom is afraid that pills aren't being distributed properly and things are being [removed] from rooms! She and her friends are even talking about a conversation overheard in the laundry area about two employees [removed] The new Head nurse ,Liz, is arrogant and has the bedside manor of a wet sponge. I had the displeasure of meeting her once and that was enuff to know my mother needs to be in a different facility. If you are considering puting a parent or family member into Palmilla, reconsider!!!

There is a fake review, which reads more like a commercial, showed up less than a day after I gave them a bad review for the way the nursing management treated my father. Fake review: "Best Senior Living In Southeast Phoenix!"

The Nursing management is awful. My father is legally blind and deaf. They just won't slow down and help my father understand what they are doing. Who wants to be man handled for unknown reasons. Mountain Park's solution was to ask us to move our father to a facility that was something like in the movie "one flew over the cuckoos nest". Shame on you MP, my father is a decorated Naval Aviator and a sweet old man.
