I don't even know where to begin, we moved my mother there in Nov 2022. We were sold by the sales people a place that had consistent long term staff, great caregivers and the assurance that all my moms needs could be met. It wasn't long before we had medication mix ups such as not receiving her meds( and her being made to feel she just forgot that they were given) and being lied to about it then literally having to go over late at night and catching the person just taking the meds up when I arrived on site, the running out of meds and not having consistently, so unacceptable. My mom took a couple falls and never once did head nurse once on site personally come to check on her. Numerous times my mother who was oxygen depended was left with no oxygen at all and thank god we had placed a camera in her room due to suggestion from nurse [name removed], that we were the ones to catch it. There is many more things but not enough space. Independent living is good but not assisted.

I do not purposely write mean and retaliatory reviews. If I am dissatisfied, I usually just don't respond to a review request, but my mother's one year residence at West Chester Assisted Living was more often difficult, frustrating and at times a danger. Communication between staff is awful. Staff to resident ratio is said to be optimal and meets requirements, but does not often meet the acuity of many residents. Call lights are not answered in a a timely fashion. My mother was sprayed all over her entire body with Fabreeze air freshener because the director of nursing said she "smelled" instead of assisting her with a shower! My mother fell many times requiring ER visits. My brother and myself would often times be the ones to find her lying on the floor. Her last fall split her head open and broke 5 ribs. She died 4 days later. The facility is new and beautifully decorated. Don't be fooled! Turnover rate is extremely high. We were promised the moon, but hit by an asteroid. So sad.

My loved one was previously a resident at West Chester Assisted Living and Memory Care and our experience at this facility was terrible. This facility is more like an Independent Living facility than it is an Assisted Living facility. The cleanliness was great, except for my loved one's room. As for the friendliness, the friendliness of the everyday staff was great but the friendliness of the Director of Nursing was terrible. The care services were poor. The staff was good except for the Director of Nursing. My loved one thought that the food was delicious. As far as the activities, they did not come get my loved one for them. They were also not giving my loved one the right medicine. They ordered medications that she wasn't even supposed to be on. When she moved in, we didn't even see a nurse. And one never called me to discuss a change in medications. Very strange. This facility was definitely not a good value for the cost.

this is not good for my brother. He is not happy and their not taking care of him. He wants to come home but I cannot take care of him more at home he has to stay here even but he doesn’t want to anymore

Don't click on contract or you may be forced to pay $[removed] without ever stepping into the building. That's wrong, but it happened! Give some customer support when not asking for a check. More info. Stop being a robot.Worst experience I ever had, because they took mom's money but refused her entry! Then wanted another month's rent because of contract.

As POA for my mother last year gave a 60 day notice to facility. The director and business manager were no longer working there in [date removed]. New director comes in and states that i am a liar and never gave a 60 day notice. She refuses to give the prorated rent of [removed] back to my mother's now estate since she has passed. Took this issue to her supervisor and she refused to reimburse the prorated rent. Now the estate will take legal action against this company.

Dad and stepmom transitioned from Independent Living at WSL to Assisted Living at WSL. Only my stepmom needs the assisted living. They require assessments to determine level of care. My stepmom is in a wheelchair and needs help to use the restroom. They haven’t even been able adequately assist for simple toileting. Since day one. They told my dad and her that they are sorry but are short staffed. They have 2 aids for the week and one in the weekend. Also Spectrum turned off the internet for everyone on the floor and not sure if it’s the whole building. Now my siblings are looking at other assisted living facilities because the care is so poor.

My loved one was a resident at Peakview Assisted Living and Memory Care and the experience was terrible. Everything across the board was terrible. I would not recommend putting anyone that you love in this facility.

If your loved one has no dementia, has no dementia related behavior issues, and isn't to "loud" it's a great place. However, they cannot handle seniors with dementia -- despite advertising that they can. They waited until we were out of town to dump our parent at the ER and then evicted him -- all contrary to our mutually agreed health plan. Failed to return multiple calls. We had to hear from the hospital that that's what they did. The hospital is making a formal complaint against them to the NM Dept of Health about the "Elder Dumping" -- they (hospital) said this is not the first time that they've done this.

The staff was very overworked. We did not have much interaction because we were asked to hire an agency aide to spend the days with our dad, as there was not enough staff to take care of him. The activity lady did a nice job of trying to keep the residents interested, always had events going on. However, staff is not trained well in how to deal with dementia patients. The facility could do a better job of assessing residents before letting them move in. Two days after admitting our dad we were told that he needed more help than they could supply, but it was supposed to be just until he was adjusted. The entire episode was very traumatic for him and for his family. Our family would not recommend this Memory Care facility for people who are dealing with dementia. Our father was asked to leave Park Meadows Senior Living about 5 weeks after he moved in. He is no longer a resident there.

It is a beautiful facility, but the care may not be what you are fully needing. Make sure to ask any/all questions prior to putting your loved one here. If your loved one is independent and needs no assistance, this could be your place, but if you are needing assistance, beware!! This facility is understaffed and has a high turnover rate. When bringing concerns to management and to corporate, just know that there may be a blind eye and corporate will always send you back to the facility without hearing your concerns.

There was no follow-up after the tour by the staff until several weeks later. This was a beautiful community. The staff seemed to be not as engaging with the family.

Keep your loved one home and hire someone to come to your home. After two weeks, I took my mother out of The Oaks and into my home. They, like all assisted living places, are very understaffed.

Our 92 year-old father moved to Parks Meadow in [date removed]; however, it was recommended that he reserve his unit by paying the [date removed] rent. Unfortunately, soon after his move he became ill, hospitalized and passed away in [date removed]. His stay at Park Meadows was only 3 ½ weeks (late January to mid-February). Another part of his “singing” up for Park Meadows was a “one time non-refundable” Community Fee of$[removed] listed on page 40 of a 52-page lease agreement. The Community Fee would lower his rent over his stay at Park Meadows. The family requested that Park Meadows refund at least part of the Community Fee. as his unit was only used a short time and he did not get a chance to use dining or any other facility amenities. In speaking to the business officer at the facility, she could only say “it’s out of my hands” and “I completely understand”. In the end, it feels like a 92 yr was taken advantage of with a lengthy lease agreement and an insensitive corp entity

Look for another place. I do not recommend Westbrook Senior Living at all. The Director of Assisted Living and the Director of Nursing recommend that my mother start hospice, when they are not doctors.

We chose this place for my mom and dad because of their atmosphere and commitments to care and service. After three months, very few commitments were delivered on including critical care meetings for their health. The consistent reason given was lack of staffing or time. Breakfast can be ready anywhere from 7-10am because there is no staff to prepare it or serve it. When you have people who need to take their medicine with food, this is an issue of safety, not just convenience. Administrators: Pay staff more. Train them. Be kinder and more empathetic. You have lost your way.

My mother in law was an original resident in Assisted living in this facility. As her dimentiadeclined she moved to memory care unit. Staff turnover is significant (management and employees) and service has declined. I discovered my mother, a dementia patient was being asked if she wanted something to eat, if she said no they would not bring her food. They were unable to meet her needs. She had a fall and went to hospital malnourished and dehydrated. Avoid this facility and find another provider for your lived one.

My mom lived there for 4 years, we had to move her out due to lack of care- no staff around, no housekeeping, no one answered call lights- we heard agency was not allowed in the facility and the top nurses and care staff were quitting - we had to get her out of there for safety.

Not the same facility my mother moved into in 2016 when it first opened. Management comes and goes rapidly now and level of care suggers. My mother was in assisted living and as her dementia worsened oved to the memory care unit where she maxed out on care plan due to needs. While there she experienced significant weight loss. I uncovered my mother who only ate two meals a day anyway was actually not even receiving two. Some staff would ask a memory care patient if she wanted something to eat and she would answer no so they would not bring her a meal. This is alarming to occur in a care facility. This is unacceptable. She had a falland went to the hospital dehydrated and malnourished as the doctor there described it. Her personal doctor assessed my mother to require needs beyond what this facili can provide. Current management fails to recognize they fall short on care. Advise you to look elsewhere for care for your loved one.

The community was good, however the staff needs improvements. The food wasn’t very good. For my love and I we had not the best experience, it was just not a good fit.
