All is well for my father at this community. They are taking good care of him, and his needs. I'am pleased with all they have for our family.

I toured this community for care for my mom. I was able to talk with the staff who were nice and friendly. The community was not what we were wanting for the care for my mom. I suggest that families take a c tour for the care and the cost of a loved one.

This review is specifically about Memory Care. Fortunately there is a management change coming soon (March 2017) and hopefully this improves the poor communication, the medical care and lack of employee motivation. Most aides are caring and good, the management has been the issue as there just has to be corporate policies which are not being followed. Food is average at best. Activities seem ok. Communication and more important follow-through on medical issues, medication, etc. is a struggle at best.

My mom is doing fine in her new home. She has been enjoying the good meals with the many activities that they have. She feels they do not need improvements and the staff are doing a good job. I find the community kept clean always.

I toured this community for the care of my mom. This community was not what we were looking for at the time. We found that the staff was very nice and friendly. We liked that it was clean and maintained. They would have offered her activities. We suggest other families see this community for the care of a loved one.

My tour of this community was a good one. Everyone was very kind to my family and I. The tour went well, and the community appeared to well maintained. The staff I came across was friendly and nice. It was a pleasant experience, but we did find a community that was closer to us.

Were promised a lovely assisted living apartment and at last minute was told my dad was going to have to go to Memory Care due to concerns about him walking out which was a concern of mine as well but my father obviously was not placed correctly. He still has good thinking skills and thrives on stimulating conversations, reads the paper every day and is still working part time at 90 years old. That being said, i don't deny that his memory is failing and all the signs and characteristics of Alzheimer's has begun to surface.The floor he was on was on lock down, no one to talk to, food terrible, door to his apartment not able to lock and people wandering in and out of his room! Consequently I had to hire outside sources to help e keep an eye on him AND take him out when he was losing his mind being locked up. This is what i paid $8.000.00 for the first month! Finally after much calling and getting VOYCE involved and 2 assessments, it was determined that he was eligible for Assisted Living. Another expense to pay movers a second time. So i am hoping things will smooth out now that he is on the Assisted Living floor. ON A GOOD NOTE>>>I want to also add that the workers on each floor as well as the servers in the dining room have been awesome!! Very personable and have taken excellent care and attention whenever I have spoke to them and/or have observed their interaction with the residents. It is because of them that I still have hope that this place will work out. Thank you for reading and taking my thoughts into serious consideration.

Nice building and staff but the food is not good. Dining Room Menu doesn't have enough variety. Bistro food can better but also limited and available only M-F. It does not appear that they are attempting to improve the food options. It appears that most of the food is shipped in and not prepared on site,

I went one time to visit and found that It was too far on the west side with traffic, visiting her would be problematic for me. They have more staff and it was very pricey. It seemed to be a clean facility and well organized, it was fine to visit. They had a sales person there and I felt like they were trying to sell something and not interested in the care. They are low on staff on weekends.

When signing up, you are convinced that your loved ones care, will be extraordinary. Not at all the case! Very sub par nursing staff and care programs. Way too expensive for the care received....

A beautiful facility. The food can be good and bad. Wish their chicken strips weren't processed chicken and wish the menu wasn't so limited. For the money we pay, I would expect better food. Some of the caregivers are wonderful and others not so wonderful.....but I guess that's everywhere. It's a bit pricy.....after the first year they raised prices 4%, plus they keep trying to raise care costs. Be prepared to pay between 6K-10K a month. When issues in lack of care have been brought to the attention of staff they talk a good game on how things will change, but it never really does. Had too many instances where staff has lied about providing certain care needs, when they don't (and we pay extra for those care needs). We have also had some problems with medications, staff doesn't always stay informed with med changes and Meds aren't always given on time or when needed. If they could become more organized regarding Meds, more consistent with care and not so darn expensive, I would give a better rating.

It was great working with staff during the application process...even though that process was long and arduous! Wish there was an easier, softer, more consumer-friendly way to doing business! Once admitted, we found the property very home-like and lovely! The only on-going problem has been internal/external communications. We found it to be confusing and sporadic. Doesn't mean we don't like the community; we're just hoping that communication between staff and residents' families improve!

Crestview is much larger than the community we chose. It had a kind of generic nursing home feel. It seemed to feel depressing. They do offer 3 meals a day and tons of activities. It is in an area that is more built up.

We moved him there, and they kicked him out!!

I have my mom staying at this community and so for the transition has been good and the staff are good people and willing to try to make my mom happier. It took a month to get things straightened out for the care and attentiveness towards Mom. I feel there is a difference between the assisted living and memory care residents. I would like to see more interaction for the memory care floor. Overall Mom is doing great and I just want to point out to make sure you stay on top of things when moving your loved ones into any community.

Some things are good and some things are not so good at this community. We have been having some issues with the care staff and her medication. They have been messing up her medication and the times they were supposed to give it to her. The head nurse isn't the best, but she now takes care of her medicine herself. It is a beautiful facility and her room is very nice. There is many activities for her to stay busy with. This is a new facility, its only a couple of months old. We are waiting to see everything improves.

The only thing that I can really say about the Park Meadows Senior Living facility is that everything about the place is just really good. I have no complaints about them and I can not think of any improvements either.

We have used HighPointe Assisted Living for respite care a few times, and overall I think they do a good job. It's a nice looking facility, the staff is friendly, and they do a good job with the food. Our loved one always enjoys herself during her stays. However, I've noticed that the cleaning service can be very inconsistent. Sometimes it is fine, but she had a stay where I don't think her room was cleaned once for the whole 2 1/2 week period.

Several of my relatives and friends have chosen to make The Homestead at Hickory View their home over the past 13 years. While still the "premier" senior living facility in Washington, the facility is starting show its age. Some of the staff are absolutely wonderful and embrace the residents as family members (Barb, Sandy, Debbie). Others seem to have some difficulty with the relationship between staff and resident. You can expect that your rent will increase by 3-4% every year. but services will not remain at the level you experienced at move-in, and will likely decline. Meals are not as good as they once were although they probably meet basic nutritional guidelines. Maintenance and housekeeping assistance was once standard and provided enthusiastically. Now it seems a monetary charge is contemplated for every request for assistance by a resident. It is a shame. This really is HOME to the residents. Unfortunately for some of the staff it's just a job and they don't want to do any more than the bare minimum.
