This is a very friendly place everyone is very helpful and if you have questions or concerns they do their very best to find a solution. There are many activities , music and gatherings I am very glad I found this place. Also it's very bright and clean

What we like the most about Crown Pointe is that it has a nice cozy feeling to the facility. Yes, we would recommend the community to other families based on the experience so far.

That the residents are always around visiting each other and they know the staff. Also that they keep track of if a resident misses a meal. They will check to be sure they are ok.

This is a community that became family. It is a very caring and giving community. The apartments are roomy enough to live comfortably. The amenities are really nice. Meals anytime during the day, several options if you don't desire the special of the day, shopping trips, opportunities for lunch in restaurants, day trips to casinos, picnics, and other venues.

My siblings and I were struggling with how to care for mom as her Altzheimers progressed. It was such a difficult time. We looked at several places and Summit Corners impressed us from the start! Mom has been here now 3 months and we are very glad she is here. Mom has a 2 bedroom so when I come, I stay here to visit. I see everything. So far, all I have seen is kind, caring staff (I wish i could give shout-outs) goooood food, and spacious clean rooms! Billy does daily exercise classes as well as other fun activities! My mom thinks she is at a resort! I feel very comfortable with my mom being here.

Mom has been in the memory unit for a few years and she really enjoys it. The absolute best caretaker there is [name removed]. She works on the weekends and she always goes above and beyond for mom. She doesn’t just let mom sit in a wheelchair . She works with her; helps her move her body so she doesn’t completely lose her strength. [name removed] loves on mom.. always making sure mom knows she’s adored. She is so dedicated to her residents.

The Waterford of Virginia Beach has been amazing! Such great care and concern and I'm grateful that I move my mom to their location. It's beautiful.! Food might be a four because of memory care patients not being able to cut up food properly. More like hand food but overall, this is a great facility in every way and I'm so pleased. My mom was at the [facility removed], which was $[fee removed] a month and she constantly had infections and other issues. She's been here at The Waterford for a year and she's been very welcome and taking care of.

My sister and I are equally impressed by essentially everything. The staff are friendly and very kind. There has never been one whiff of an off odor. The food is plentiful and has great variety tasty. The rooms are spacious and well maintained. Mom has a decent sized bedroom, a small kitchen, bath and a rather large living room. The landscaping has s simple and clean. All of this for an amazing low price, compared to other places we visited. Top shelf and a great find. Thx ‘A Place for Mom’

I am a bird lover/animal lover and I love having the deer, turkey, birds and animals to look at. I love my ambassador. She has become a great friend. I can't eat milk, cheese, sour cream and the kitchen helps me work around it. I can have some dairy items but they help me through my problems.

Make sure you have all the paperwork needed. Power of attorney. Florida state forms. Guardianship. Start your search early. There are many places out there but the timing to secure a room is hard. Be financially prepared. Understand what financially you are responsible for. Overall The Waterford was a wonderful experience. They cared for my mom in every way possible. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking. The staff were very kind and attentive to my mom. They helped her as she needed.

Our mother moved into her apartment about 8 months ago. After living alone for a long time (since our father passed), she was getting up in years. She had gradually grown less active, both physically and socially. Life at The Wellington has been good for her. She likes participating in some of the activities. She is getting the help she needs. She feels safe and well-cared-for. She is happy.

The staff are very friendly & always go out of their way to help my Father. The food service could definitely be improved- bring in chefs that could be more innovative.

[name removed] and her amazing staff on both sides of care (assisted living and memory care) are amazing. They are both compassionate and on point with my Mom’s care as she requires more assistance. I feel safe leaving town knowing she is in great care.

I'm happy that I have 3 meals a day and have housekeeping every 2 weeks. Activity director keeps things going (even though she is pregnant) with 4 or 5 outings a month, plus at least a craft session once a week. The cook is very pleasant and takes compliments as well as criticisms. Food is good for the most part but sometimes there are things I just don't care for. We have options to have instead of what's on the menu.

Waterford has been a blessing in our lives. Everyone works as a team to care for the residents. My mom is a dialysis patient. The staff do very well at getting her ready for appointments. My mom is wheelchair and easy stand equipment. Staff do great with all my mom's care. Waterford has always been very open and honest. I am so thankful for all the Waterford staff. The treat us and all the residents just like family.

Beautiful facility with fireplaces pleasant seating bird aviary lovely. Staff is pleasant loving to our Mom. Activities are engaging and satiating for residents. Appreciate the spiritual/religious service avaliable! Activities would be appreciated after dinner as well as on the weekends.

She’s more relaxed, engaged, and even smiling again. The environment feels more like a community than a facility, and that has made all the difference. I’m so grateful for the compassion and professionalism of everyone at Waterford. They’ve truly helped my grandmother find a new sense of home.

Ashton was a very happy community of wonderful caregivers. They gave mom exceptional attention and worked hard to make sure she felt safe and cared for. Food was delicious most of the time.
