Excellent. Have lived at the Waterford for about 2 and a half years. I moved in after loosing my husband. I had a fall after I moved in. It helped that I lived in a community where I wear a pendent for emergencies because I was helped very quickly and was able to avoid more injury. I enjoy all the activities. Especially the Wii Bowling and Bingo!! We take lots of trips including a monthly outing to eat. I have made very good friends while living at the Waterford both with staff and neighbors.

I really appreciate the independence I have here. I came from a place where I couldn’t do anything without someone telling me what to do or where to go. This community gives me the freedom to go anywhere and do anything on my own. There are plenty of activities to enjoy—I especially like the exercise classes, even if I’m lazy sometimes and don’t feel like getting up! It still feels good to have the option and the encouragement to stay active. I’ve even made friends with my tablemates, which makes it feel like home. And I’m so glad I don’t have to cook anymore! I’ve shared some food suggestions with the food director, and she has been very receptive and eager to make improvements. It feels great to be heard and to be part of something positive.

My apartment is just great! I don't ever want to move! It's great because of the cleaning done to it and maintenance to fix anything. Even removing plants for me from off the patio at the end of the year! The opportunity to talk with people at breakfast happy hour, and events that go on is the best. We have covered parking and that is really nice. Drive in drive out, and you don't have to think! It's kept very clean. Shopping right next door, so that is huge I lived at another facility left, I love it here.

Everything is 1st class. They put the patients 1st as far as health and activities. They always make sure they are engaged. If not they are making sure they get assistance in whatever way needed. And they keep us informed immediately on any issues.

I’m originally from Chicago, but when they decided to build a 21-story building in my neighborhood, my family and I ended up moving to Covert, Michigan. After my husband passed, my daughter wanted me to move closer to her, so I relocated again, and I’m glad I did. From what I can see, this community is very well planned, and most of the residents really enjoy living here. The services they offer aren’t something you find just anywhere. The staff are incredibly accommodating, the food is good (and you can always ask for more), and the service overall is excellent. I especially appreciate not having to cook anymore! What matters most here is the sense of safety. After living alone, it’s comforting to feel secure while still being independent. Everyone lives their own life, and you’re still in charge of yourself. You can speak for yourself, ask questions, and know you’ll be heard. They really listen and try to help and accommodate your needs.

The facility is nice.

The Addison is the next best thing to being in my own home. The rooms are laid out very efficiently so that I was able to bring my favorite furniture. The huge window makes it bright and my walls are covered in family photos! Very homey. The staff is awesome. I can’t say enough how caring and loving and friendly they are. They know everyone by name and they make me feel special. We had been he exactly 1 year when my husband died, and I’m not exaggerating to say that everyone on the staff and most of the residents came to my room to hug me and cry with me. Our activities directors are awesome! There is always something to do! I don’t join many things (books and tv are my favorite), but sometimes the adorable [name removed] will come drag me out for some entertainment(singers, bands, pianists) and I have a blast. The staff dresses up and decorates for EVERYTHING!! lol. And our food?? This is not hospital food. This is restaurant quality food. DELICIOUS! Our chef is so good!!! I love it here!

I would say 5 for all categories. My mother is extremely happy there. She continually tells me I picked a great place for her. It is very clean. the employees are extremely nice and attentive. There are lots of activities for the residents.

The facilities are great, the staff efficient and friendly and the food usually good. The rooms are spacious and well maintained. We visited several facilities before choosing West Shores and we have never regretted our choice. From the beginning it has truly been our home.

Staff is truly concerned for all residents. They seek input from residents on a variety of topics. Something for everyone to do from chair exercise to bingo to corn hole! There is a true sense of community here. The apartments vary in size. I have a 2bed, 2bath. There are 1 bd, 1bath. Sone kitchens are very small and some bigger. I think a person must see availability while on a tour. Sizes to fit your needs.

I couldn't ask for a better place for my patent to live. Staff is friendly, helpful and always have a smile. Each day there are all kinds of activities to be involved in. When my mom passed away last year my dad had a community of people to rally around him. He has enjoyed eating meals with friends and happy hour. There is always someone to talk to or just say hi.

I feel very fortunate to be here, I think the meals are great and there sure are a lot of things going on. It's great that so many activities are offered. The staff makes a big effort to help in many ways and does a really great job at that. I feel like I'm on vacation!

The good. Because I was not able to see my father every day or some times only once a week the nurses and med techs would keep a close eye if I had mentioned something that had concerned me. They had been very helpful during these last 6 months. The front office greater. She started of very friendly then I believe had to take on too much work and then it became more difficult to get something done if needing to go through her. I would suggest for future clients for them to get all of the names of the office staff and numbers if they ever need to reach for individuals care. My father passed away [date removed]. During his transition the staff was very understanding and helped my dad and the entire family in anyway we needed help. This was very much appreciated and this difficult time.

The staff knew their patients and called them by name. I would go back there today if I needed help. The apartment was bright and had two good sized rooms. The dining area was also full of windows. My husband was not big on activities but they had plenty of activities. We were in memory care and they had their own activities plus there were other activities on the main floor if you wanted more to do.

The memory care staff are very attentive to the resident’s needs; they genuinely care The staff are also welcoming of family members. If a concern is brought up, they immediately address the concern. I am confident that my loved one is well cared for.

The Waterford at Ironbridge is a wonderful place! The staff although small are very helpful and caring! At the e d of the day all needs have been met. Not only is the staff kind the resident are always willing to Lend a help hand . The food is wonderful and served quick so food is never cold. Menu are well planned. Lots of fun happen here

Everything stood out - they are kind and helpful. There are lots of activities, the apartments are a good size and nice.

I'm very happy turn. So clean help are all so nice and friendly helpful, lots of things to do it you want room are clean mine in a perfect room. Cleaning lady very very good. [name removed is tops. [name removed] and the rest of the office people are also great. No complaints.

I have not encountered any staff personal who in their specified professional activities be anything but professional. When my mom's need change The Waterford staff professional change to assist her. She is always cared for physically and mentally. My mom excels in her personality with the staff. The understand her and always make her feel safe. (My mom likes her friends and when she remember loves her home.)

My husband was involved in choosing The Waterford. The variety of meals is great. Plenty of activities for residents. Staff seems to be aware of changes in my husband's behavior or health. I feel comfortable going to staff with question or concerns. I feel my husband has adjusted rather well to the situation. It has been good for me knowing that my husband in a safe place and well taken care of.
