When it comes to the meals it stinks, worst food I have ever eaten. Vegetables are over cooked, no taste, majority of people do not like the food. I spend [name removed] a month with Amazon because I can not stomach food, a lot of the meals cause me stomach pain and I use anti acids daily. I am looking for another place to move to because of the food. For activities, I do not participate but most the residents that do enjoy it. I love my apartment and the beautiful view, however it is not worth being sick from the food and having to pay for delivery of food I can eat. Last, there are residents that will not let you sit at their table when your table is near construction and are very rude about it. I think it is better to live in a regular apartment complex than put up with people who are rude and tell you and friends you can not sit at their table even though there are empty seats.

Everyone is very friendly, but the food is horrible. Quality they don't cook frozen waffles they let them thaw and serve them for an example.

Our family had an in person tour with Crown Pointe and it did not have trails in the hallway for safety. I found that odd. Also it was not a full kitchen. With a stove/oven and there were no laundry hookups in her apartment. Overall it felt more like a hotel room than a home. The activities room was off in a dark corner of the lower level and you did t see many residents out and about hanging out to just visit with one another. The staff overbooked the tour so we did not start on time.

My sister has physical impairments. I feel the House cleaner took advantage of her and didn't clean very well.

We liked the community. The community seemed a little older than we wanted and felt more a like nursing home.

All of the people we interacted with were very friendly. The facility itself was run down, but just as expensive as some of the nicer places we looked at. It is also in a busy location.

Almost impossible to have anyone return phone calls. Very frustrating when dealing with elder issues and no one returns calls to go over treatment options. Second time we've had this issue. Other than the communication issues good value for the money.

I toured this community. It wasn't as nice as some of the others in the area and the floor plan/shower set up were not a good fit for my loved one.

This is an older community with very nice staff. The rooms were smaller and there was an odor that made it seem like not the right fit for our loved one.

The Wellington had good and bad employees. Some caring and loving but too many times they do not have enough help on weekends and nights. My loved one needs attention 24-7. She is a good sleeper. And that is a Blessing. We are taking care of her ourselves, right now it is working. When she declines we will seek professional help.

Our family had an in person tour and we thought it was nice and an elaborate place. They seemed very nice with nice people but we think they could sense our lack of interest so there was no real personal touch but that is not their fault.

They really did bend over backwards to make my mother feel welcome and included, but I think it was just not an environment she enjoyed - no fault of the courtyards. The only area I could see an opportunity for improvement was the food. Some days it was good, but more times than not it was sub par.

I toured this facility. The staff was very friendly. It seems like a good option for Independent Living. The Assisted Living felt more hospital like.

I toured this facility and it was good, same layout as their sister facility (The Waterford). They didn't have any Assisted Living openings when we toured.

Your employees don't help with our complaints. My moms room stinks of death. I've asked for help no one has listened. I've asked for a different room no one listened. We are looking for another facility if no help and soon

We're concerned with staff shortages at this facility. Caregivers are helping in dining, which causes a shortage of available caregivers etc. There was also a hidden cost with pharmacy/medications. We weren't aware until after we moved mom in that we were required to use their one pharmacy option and that it would cost extra. As far as meals, they don't accommodate special diets or have alternative options for them (for example, lactose intolerance). We were also promised a care team meeting within 72 hours of moving mom in. It took way longer than that and we had to ask about it several times before it finally happened. Communication with the family is not great. Communication within the staff isn't either. If we tell the daytime care staff something, it isn't relayed to the night staff unless we tell them ourselves. Housekeeping is weekly and very thorough. I would possibly recommend them to family and friends, but I would definitely relay the issues and concerns that we have. The bottom line is, you have to be a patient advocate for your loved one, anywhere you go. Some more than others, but here for sure. That's how we're making it work here for mom.

I feel that all the communities are about the same, except for the price. It is like a cruise ship because they give the resident a room, and then you have meals and activities for the residents to participate in. There are complaints about the food by the residents. The community and the state rules need to have more options for dietary restrictions for the residents. There are games, dirty poker, yoga, bingo, music, entertainment, movies, happy hour and more for the residents to participate in for activities. My ratings are based on a curve. The staff rating could possibly be more than a 3, I have found some gems of staff members along our journey.
