I would not recommended this place to others and I will be leaving a through review soon. I don't indorse a place for mom recommending Aspen Grove until they get their issues fixed. The turnover with staff is high. The staff is not happy morale is low. Communication with family members is lacking. Care is not always adequate. They charged me two weeks worth of rent after my father died and this was not disclosed clearly in the paperwork

Mixed experience. A lot of the selling points weren't delivered. Common areas are kept clean but private cleaning needs work. A lot of the staff are low level laborers so do not place emphasis on customer expectations. Management is fine. Front desk staff is often absent from there post, which is a security risk. No firearms are allowed for residents and no security is on site. Meals are lackluster and are often only quick, processed convenience foods. Very little fresh veggies. I think they are working on a new food manager so hopefully it gets better. Bulletin board is chock full of events each day but staff needs to encourage residents more strongly to participate. It is one of the more affordable residences for what is offered.

I love the staff that cares for my mil. They treat her with care and respect. I am very disappointed with their communication. They do not return phone calls and they don’t answer the phone In the memory unit. My MIL had Covid and we were informed about it 24 hours after the fact. I called daily to get updates and they would not return my phone calls. There was zero communication while she was sick.

Nursing Staff is excellent but food is not good. Lots of changes in business office over last few months has led to some lapse in communication, but that seems to be improving. New executive director seems to share resident concerns about menu & has promised to work with kitchen staff to improve offerings. Definitely highlight excellent staff. They are working so hard to keep residents happy & safe through lots of changes. But once these changes & updates are finished, I think it's going to be really great.

Willow Grove community does not have enough staff. Several of the staff are looking on their phones too much. Really like [name removed] and [name removed] , some of the rest are just waiting on pay day and quitting time. Leaving more work for the ones really working.

I love the people and the workers there. They are very good with the residents. Very caring. But, the food is not very good. It used to be, until they switched companies. I wish they would switch back.

Our family had an in person tour with Rosemont community and the overall tour experience was nice and we liked the staff but we just could not see our loved one living there.

The facility was nice. The apartments had been remodeled and were updated. The young girl who showed me around was quiet, she did not offer much information unless I prompted her or asked questions. She seemed aloof and disinterested in really trying to sell the place. They also did not have any units open at that time. I asked to be placed on a waiting list, which she said she did. She told me it would be maybe a couple of months before they had a unit available and they would call. I never received a call, but that's ok because in that time we found a place that was more suited for my MIL. The Oaks is only independent living, so when she needed more care we would have had to move her somewhere else.

Things are getting better after several meetings we have had. I would tell others to be sure and ask what stages memory residents are in. That has been the issue from the start. There are no one in early stages of Alzheimer's and they don't have memory care activities unless someone takes them to the assisted living area. It's hard for my mom to fit in..You just have to stay on them if you have an early memory care resident. I understand no place is perfect. I would still recommend them to others.

We toured with The Remington at Valley Ranch and they served a subpar pre-made/heat up meal on a Styrofoam plate with no explanation. Staff and facility had a sterile feel to it. These were the main reasons we did not choose this facility.

They do well at 1. Listening to concerns and attempting to solve them 2. Friendliness 3. Keeping facility clean 4. Providing variety of food choices Improvements 1. Encourage residents to participate more 2. Keeping public/staff/freight elevators in working order so staff can assist residents quicker 3. More attention to general housekeeping in each individual apartment 4. Doing laundry as if it were your own. Not dumping everything together in one lump and overloading washer so nothing gets cleaned

I think that the nursing staff was good at The Harrison. The facility is dated, but clean and safe. I had the opportunity to eat there once and I thought that my meal was okay. My dad enjoyed the food. Dad's needs exceeded Assisted Living care before he qualified for Medicaid and I'm grateful that they worked with me to keep him there until we got that all sorted out then moved to a place better suited to his needs. I would recommend The Harrison to family and friends for Assisted Living.

Our less than optimal experience had to do with the accounting department and lack of communication. Things seem to have straightened out since then. The staff is great! There always seems to be something going on to get the residents involved. Very happy with all aspects of that.

Our family went to have an in person tour with The Wellington at North Richland and we were told they did not offer assisted living so we never were able to actually tour the community, but from the looks of it the outside landscaping was well groomed

I think the staff tried hard. Their "Ambassador" approach to new residents isn't very good, monitored, or really, cared about by staff.

My loved one was a resident at The Wellington at Conroe and our experience was just okay. I will say, the Director [name removed] was outstanding. However, she wasn't able to cover all of the other shortcomings. I would not recommend this facility to family and friends.

Improve the food most of the time myself and others just try a bit or two and leave the rest unable to eat always cold when should be hot. You can order salads and sandwiches but that gets old Crowne Pointe is very nice and clean the staff is nice and friendly as are the other tenants.

We toured with The Waterford of Huebner and it was more expensive. And it was probably a three on a scale of one to five. The facility just definitely had an old people feel to it.
