I can only reply with experience because my mother in law passed before she ever lived there. I have however been waiting for a refund for well over two months and have not received it yet. Should have received it a month ago. My mother in law actually had to go to a full time nursing home so did not meet requirements for The Waterford. We'd prepaid them.

It is not as advertised. They are short-staffed in all areas and therefore can't really deliver on a lot of things. For instance, transportation to appointments was a huge draw for us, and we have not been able to rely on that. They have reduced appointments to only two days a week for a couple of hours. They are very limited on activities due to short-staffing. They do take the residents to Walmart and things like that, but that's about it. My loved one says the food is great, but they have quite a bit of turnover among the kitchen staff. They don't' have cleaning staff, so they're not doing light cleaning and changing of sheets once a week as promised. Sometimes the staff can be hard to reach. However, the other residents there are so kind to him. He has made friends, and they all take it upon themselves to meet and play cards and things, which has been really nice. If you ask him, he's having a great experience. But as the person in charge of planning and decision making, it has been challenging for me. I think they're trying, but are maybe just limited in their resources, which is affecting the value.

This was a nice community. They have cottages and they are separated by the ability of the residents. The cottages can seem small. The residents were not as active as other communities. The grounds were not as pretty as other communities.

I do not like this type of care. It is like being in a hotel room. There are times that it can take the staff a half hour to appear after pressing the call button. There are times that the community doesn't have enough staff to cover the calls in the evenings and overnight. Breakfast is alright, but the rest of the meals aren't to our liking. There are too many carbs offered to the residents. There are activities in the community, but the staff don't come to get the residents. There is a piece of paper that lists all the activities and times, and the resident must remember the time, and this can be a problem for residents.

I was not overly impressed with The Wellington. The memory care portion of the facility just looked run down and needed updates done. Right when you walk in there is old furniture and it just did not give me that good vibe that I was looking for.

This community was really easy to work with as far as getting my mother moved in. So far as she has been there there has been a huge turnover in staff. Due to this it seems like they have not been able to provide all of services that they stated that they could provide. I would just recommend to make sure that this community is able to provide all of the services that they state they can provide.

Staffing is so changing that occasional services needed, are not given. Food has too much carbs. Needs more fresh veggies & fruits.

The people are very friendly and kind. The food is excellent. They have a nice array of activities. I find both the privacy and care level to be lacking. I was envisioning that my loved one was in an apartment, and have more autonomy than they have. There are people that walk in at anytime without notice. I expected that the staff would be checking on my loved one hadn't been seen they would then check on my loved one. They don't allow my loved one dispense their own medications. In addition the staff will sometimes not show up with medications for my loved one to take, so my loved one won't get their daily medications as needed. The care plan has never been communicated to us in written form and to know what care we are paying for. I have asked for this several times, and still no resolution on this. I only get the bills each month to pay. The resident next door to my loved one is a smoker, and the building is to be non-smoking. However, my loved one's rooms has a stench and filled with smoke. The community wanted my loved one to write a formal complaint using their name. I didn't feel safe having my loved one do this, as I feel this should be the community's responsibility to resolve this.

The Wellington at North Richland Hills was on par with a couple other places I toured in the area, but I didn't like them. The facility didn't look clean. It had a smell to it like an old folks home. It was cheaper, but I just didn’t have a good feeling from it like I did from the place we chose.

I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones. The Executive Director has been very hospitability and gave us the tour. The lobby area is large enough in the memory care. The memory care unit is separate, and you have to have a key to get into the secured unit. There is a screened in porch with rocking chairs off the lobby for the residents to use. Medication management, dressing, and bathing assistance are some of the care the community is able to assist with. The food is good, and the residents get a choice of meals. They are able to accommodate dietary restrictions for the residents. The apartment, utilities, transportation, all the meals, laundry, changing of the linens, and housekeeping is all included in the monthly fee. The community will even take your loved one to the doctor appointments if you need them to.

I liked this community but they don't send staff members when the residents shop and my loved one needs someone to be with her on trips.

The recruiter was very nice. The rooms are okay. They could be set up a little better to optimize the space. Some of the staff are really good; others are awful. Management is not great - they're kind of lazy. I think they should be more involved. We've had some issues with medications running out. But the small community makes it nice. I go often to visit, and I would definitely recommend that other families do the same, no matter what place you choose, so you can fully know what's going on.

One of the most attrative parts about Rosemont when we were looking was that when we came to tour all o the residents were out and about and socializing with one another. The staff were very receptive, super polite and helpful. My loved one fell and hit her head and we had to move her to skilled nursing when she was released from the hospital. I think she needed more care than they could provide here. It was just not the right fit for my loved one.

I feel like the food could improve, its so-so. needs better housekeeping crew and more activities for people that can't get around well - especially the ones that can't remember when the activities are. they also need more encouragement to join in to the activities.

People here are friendly. The food is decent. The only problem we've had is some payment issues with their accounting department. But that's about it. Everything else has been good.

This community is not set up to be an assisted living facility. It was formally condos so if you need anything you have to buy everything to set it up. nothing is set up at all. I also feel like some of the caregivers were nice and some of them were not and not invested in the job at all. My loved one actually complained about how she was treated by some of the workers. I know that right now it is hard to find good workers. They also have levels of care that cost more for each level. The bathtub and the toilet were not set up for assisted living and we had to install all of this on our own. The higher staff and the director were great it was just the care workers that we struggled with.

Our family had an in person tour and we were very impressed by all the activity that was going on inside the community and outside. However we had an appointment for a tour and the sales team just did not seem prepared. They seemed to busy and distracted for us.

Overall it is a good community, but it seem that some things fall through the cracks. It doesn't seem to be managed as efficiently as possible. The medical supplies and care could be improved upon. My loved one doesn't care for the food. The food doesn't look healthy, good, or appealing. I wish there were more healthy options for the residents to choose from. The activities are okay. Most days there is something for the residents to choose from. It seems there could be more outings for the residents to go to such as shopping and eating. This was stopped I believe due to the pandemic.

This community was dated in appearance and not the type of environment my loved one was looking for. The tour was basic and I was able to get all of the information that I needed.

It was a nice tour but nothing really stuck out to us specifically about this facility.
