So far they are okay. It's clean and the staff are friendly enough. We don't have any complaints about food or activities or any of that. They are very expensive. Sometimes the office staff can be a bit tough to get a hold of.

My brother looked at this community and the staff he met were nice. The community was clean. They offer a variety of activities. He had nothing bad to say but he just did not think this was the right fit for our mom.

So far this community was working out well, but my aunt recently fell and broke her hip and she is now at a rehab center. This is a lovely facility. We had one little problem, which was her room was a mess her room had not been cleaned since the fall. We are hoping the problem as been resolved when we return. Other than that issue the staff is wonderful.The community looks great. There are great activities offered. They do provide good care. I knew she was safe and in good hands. This would be a community I would recommend.

Mom is doing as good as she is going to do at Vintage Gardens. This community is spotless and I would recommend it. They do not offer a lot of activities that she will participate in. I cannot say much about the food as I have not tried it but my mom has not complained.

Great overall care and attention to detail for residents and friendly respectful communication with family members. Seemed a bit pricey but worth the "peace of mind" while our family member was there. However the population is (not surprisingly) older with most residents ages between 70-90. So we are moving our own 66 yo family member recovering from a severe stroke to a retirement community with more younger residents.

I had taken a tour last week and was so impressed I had to get my mother an apartment there. They fit my finances and the facility is beautiful. I believe it is a good fit for my 90 yr. mom.

Overall this community is nice, after moving Judy into the community we realized this was not going to be the best for her. The staff is pretty friendly, place is pretty clean and the food is good. There are some activities but Judy was never invited to participate in any.

They were real helpful and very informed it was a streamlined process to take care of my father they were the only one I interviewed with it carried on a meaningful conversation

My husband Walter [removed] seems to be adjusting and that is good for me. I find it difficult to eat with him due to your reservation policy. It seems to take a long time for a request of mine to taken care of. Many times when I ask the techs about it, they say they passed it on and they don't know why it wasn't taken care of. This involves lost laundry,late or incorrect medications in addition to requests for medication to be prescribed. It took several days after a rash Walter had to get a Rx to help it. Showers can be "instant" or through depending on who does it. I do the showers many times, because he says he hadn't had one when he wanted it, or it was not long enough for him to get clean. Many times I come in and he has not had any deodorant on. I feel like if he gets no shower, he should at least get his face and underarms with deodorant and peri area cleaned.Everyone is very nice and tries to help, but so many things fall through the cracks. Why am I disclosing my monthly payment if it is not with the review? Walter is not interested in your activities.

They offer the residents great activities to keep them busy. The staff is always wonderful to speak.

The Remington at Valley Ranch is a nice place, overall. The facility itself is well kept and nicely furnished, and the rooms are spacious and clean. Really the only negative I've seen is that the staff can get a little overwhelmed at times, they could use a few more people or just more training for the people they have.

The food could be improved upon a little bit. It is really kind of awful. The receptionist could be more friendly; when my loved one has some questions she feels like she is inconveniencing. I also felt that in the beginning like everyone was too intrusive while we were transitioning into the apartment. The place is clean though, and my mother's apartment is really big. Overall, it is fine though.

My parents and I really liked Georgetowne Place in Fort Wayne, IN. The rooms were very nice and spacious and over looked the common area which is beautifully landscaped. Everything was clean and the staff was very friendly.

The facility is decorated nice. It's pretty clean. The people are friendly. They are not really good at communicating with the family about care plans. Other than that, It's a nice place. I would recommend it. My mom likes the food and we have had meals with her before. The food is good. The value is also pretty good for all the services that you get. It has been a pretty good experience for my mom so far.

The Staff is very friendly, and very, very receptive. The activities that they provide, seem to be pretty well attended and everyone of the staff are very good about dealing with the residents. The staff is very good about attending to her needs and very receptive of questions. They are very responsive when anything happens with my mom to inform me immediately.

There are a lot of rules to read through. many disclaimers.

I changed my residence to the Waterford at Plano because the Place I was at could NOT or would NOT let me select a Low- Carbohydrate diet. I have been at the Waterford since the fifth of August. So far I have had the help of the chef and I am on a low carbohydrate diet. The rent is lower here than in my former residence.

Our overall experience has been quite positive; the facility is beautiful & immaculately clean, the entire staff, from nursing , therapists & aides, to dietary, housekeeping, custodial, & administrative, are endlessly kind & sincerely caring. They've been welcoming, attentive, and affectionate to our mother, easing the difficult transition from living at home to living in a community. The only issue we've encountered that's been at all troublesome upon occasion is staff-to-staff communication. We have always been encouraged to communicate family-to-staff, and we appreciate that, but sometimes we have shared a concern, question, or piece of information with one staff member, thinking (and being assured )it would reach other concerned staff, only to find out later that it was not. This has happened with phone and face to face messages alike, and often after several repetitions. None of the messages were life-or-death urgent , and we know it's a large community with a large staff, receiving countless calls & messages; so we're not looking for heads to roll, or to make it a deal-breaker issue. But being able to communicate more effectively with staff , without losing messages in transit, would certainly increase our level of comfort and confidence that "one hand knows what the other hand's doing". If staff would agree themselves on the best who/when/where for us to leave messages, and let new families know, that would be helpful (we've often gotten as many different instructions as people we've asked). We still appreciate the excellent care our Mom receives, and will continue to recommend Waterford to others; we just would like to feel that our part in her care is respected and treated as important as well.

The rooms were very small, and we only got to see the studio, they didn't have a one bedroom open to view. Without being able to see the actual room I was looking at, I didn't want to commit. They didn't have as many residents here as the place we chose.

I've been quite happy with them. The food is good and my dad, who is many times a picky eater, seems to have always found foods he likes. He has dementia and was a bit agitated at first with the change from where was in Colorado but within a week settled right in.
