They do not have enough help! One nurse for three floors and one aid for three floors. Please do not share this with Wellington that I said it. I don't want my mother-in-law to feel the effects.

Food was terrible -A lot of money for assisted living, not a lot of extra added value for the extra cost. Tried to get my grandma in a 1 bedroom or studio, was 5th in line when she moved in no luck, that isn't necessarily anyone's fault, however find it hard to believe that no one passed or moved in 2.5 years

The staff here is kind and caring. The units are a good size and wheel chair accessible. Since the center is not large, you can get to know other residents. However the building in 17 years old and in need of repair in several areas. Service in the dining room is slow due to lack of servers and the food is often cold or under/ over cooked. Activities are limited and outings rare due to odd bus that break down.

Price is too high and will give me no relief from the cost of food as I do not eat at the facility. I do not utilize any of the facilities except the rooms I live in. The facality is very good and friendly.

I love the nurses. They all are very nice and give great care. My apartment is comfortable and warm. I don’t like the food most of the time and there are not enough activities. I would like to have a place where we can just set and talk so we can get to know each other. It’s hard to get to know one another during singing sessions or when they bring in the animals.

I would rate it 3 and please note my mother was there about [date removed]. We then moved her to a nursing home. Our main issue with them is they were not forthcoming about the level of staffing they had...which we came to know and explained...was under staffed...including no RN

The administration staff communication could be improved. The cost was good . We ended up having her closer to home . Riverbend was a bit far to drive and see her often. Yes we liked the facility but contact and getting information definitely needs improvement

I wasn’t overly thrilled, it seemed very nice however, for the price, the department just didn’t appeal to me. It seemed like it could be a fun place though. The location for me was a little far from where I wanna live.

My husband I have lived here for 3 months now. [name removed] notices that when you get involved with actitives.

Nice place could use more staff, meals are OK. Staff treats the residents well. Love setting on the porch with other residents. Probably the best place in town.

Say what you mean - mean what you say Loosen up on sharing information. After all, we ARE a family Food is better but, still room for improvement If you make a rule - enforce it Cut down on the noise - especially in the dining room

The facility leadership has been less than responsive to issues when brought up- that is a All the way up to corporate. No one calls you back and no matter when you call they are "in meetings". Better job managing identifying information of their residents- rent payment intercepted and new check created fraudulently, they sent all her information to 8 other families when attempting to get sign off on care plans ( and we got information for 8 other residents). Memory care area had a distinctive smell (not pleasant) and other residents were allowed to roam into her private space. [name removed] did not like the food at all... it did not look good and did not smell like it tasted good either. These are just a few things that we countered

Assisted side they are not good with people with hearing aids or any special needs. Room sufficient. Has a kitchenette. Food seems o be decent. Activities are good. Need someone to keep an eye on you as with all facilities.

The facility is clean for the most part. The communities are only staffed with one CNA per shift which increases safety concerns for residents. Residents with mobility concerns receive the best care. They are often overlooked because of limited staff in communities. Some patients have difficulty with feeding and may not have assistance. The weekend staff does not adequately attend to patients. Clothing is often misplaced and/or lost. Supervision is a huge concern over the weekend. The facility is not easily accessible on the weekends. Staff never answer the number for access.

The Ashton has a problem with communication, both with the resident and the family. Internally, they don't know who is doing what, whether it is the wellness people or the folks doing laundry. As far as keeping the family informed, they seem to keep everything a secret. Of course, internally, they are not aware of who is doing what, so they don't know if anyone has been in contact

It's a good place, and it's clean.

The staff was attentive and helpful. The activities initially were awesome and then they had to replace the activities director so the slowed down for several months but it's picking back up. The food is a bit repetitive and that's unfortunate. The apartment is great especially the size and closet space.

Notice that staff is working hard but, more staff is needed. Memory care has more residents and the staff is very limited the last few weeks. Since changing from the [facility name removed]. The staff has declined- more activities entertain and stimulated these residents. We pay privately and have a concern with adequate staffing.

He loved the food there. That was about it, but that could be more about him than The Waterford. If someone is truly independent and doesn't really have any issues, it's a great place and very affordable compared to the other places we looked at. He fell, and they called the fire department since they're not allowed to help someone up. He was extremely unhappy about that. They could improve their tv app they use for streaming. It seemed very complicated for a senior to use.

Inexperienced faculty. High turnover in staff. Our loved one entered with memory care issues and it took almost 1 year to get her in memory care; we learned from staff that there wasn't sufficient staffing available in memory care so they decided to increase her level of care at Rose Arbor, which meant more cost, but she became entirely withdrawn as she didn't know how to navigate the facility so she never left her room. She began to think someone was living in her bedroom and still they didn't want to discuss moving her to memory care. We forced the issue and finally she moved. She is doing much better now.
