Also, frequent staff changes, especially among the care givers. Suppose to be 2 care givers per cottage, often just one. Phone calls frequently not returned. Some id the staff unfriendly. After, I moved my husband there within one week the main nurse was gone, the marketing lady was gone, the main administrator was replaced. Physical therapy took forever to get started . Now it's hit or miss. This facility has room for improvement, especially returning phone calls and some employees need to improve their social skills

My dad moved in to the Waterford at Creekside in early February. I toured several places and picked the Waterford because they have those cottages and courtyards. The first weeks were terrible with him not getting the things I brought for him and I suspect they were not giving him his meds the first week either. After numerous calls and visits things are going well now. However, I don’t think they let them go out in the courtyard very often. People in the office don’t return calls. I even called to let them know the automatic payments set up on the site are not coming out and no call back. Two months rent for my dad that they haven’t gotten and still can’t return a call.

There is no doubt that the staff is friendly. Nonetheless, in terms of the food the administration needs to improve how the kitchen is managed. They have a printed daily menu, but it's not what is served. In addition, they need more employees to provide transportation to doctor's appointments to the residents. They also had problems with the wi-fi.

My husband was there 3 months & passed away. I can't be to positive. They need to improve on the food and individual care/assistance.

From speaking with my sister, it sounds like they made some promises that were not kept, such as housekeeping and maintenance. Also, it sounds like the meals were not always of high quality. It was things like that that led to my sister wishing to return home.

The staff is friendly and go out of their way to interact with residents. They seem to be working on the nursing care. I like the new staff and they are more responsive. The apartments are spacious. The food is mediocre. It's in a convenient location.

Be sure you are personally oriented and that you sign off on your own safety. I repeat. Take nothing for granted. The staff can only work with the tools they are given. They manage to please us all. I can't imagine what my mom would go through if we changed facilities- that's why she stays. But for [fee removed] totally not worth it. Honestly at the moment, I'm not sure I would recommend this community- probably not

I would recommend Middleton Crossing to others. I met with [name removed] while I was at [community removed]. I liked [name removed] and I liked the price as compared to another community I heard from.

Some staff go above and beyond. Some staff are there for the job. Been a year of changes, with unexpected construction , new owners, some staff and management changes. Efforts to communicate with families once resolved but not always promptly. Proximal traffic issues due to street car construction. Looking forward to it being finished. Staffing seems under staffed on certain days and evenings. ( the med techs serve multiple floors) There isn’t a central nursing desk so sometimes takes time to find nursing staff or wait for them to reply to help button. Small community so good place to know other residents. Activities director is creative with the calendar. Food specials vary and been good meals if you like a variety.

They need to offer better opportunities for activities and better food choices for the residents.

The interior really needs updating! They keep the outside looking wonderful. My brother pays big money to live there and they do a terrible job cleaning his room.

Quality and consistency of care has been a major issue, we have talked with staff and leadership on numerous occasions. Many days when no one shows up to help my mom get up in morning, many many times when response to request for assistance is greater than 30 mins and sometimes as long as an hour. They keep telling us they're sorry and they want to earn our trust, yet happens again. Their billing dept is also frequently confused. If someone is very independent it's likely fine, when one needs more care is where they drop the ball

[name removed] very helpful and knowledgeable and very very nice. [name removed] night administrator was wonderful, kind, all good things! I helpful with a smile on her face.

They were short on help because of COVID-19 and only vacuumed twice while we were there. I CLEANED MY OWN bathrooms.

Everyone is very friendly there although they change hands regularly. The main complaint is the food. It was the first place we looked and he liked it so we didn't go anywhere else.

The facility needs some major upgrades, rain water leaking in rooms, AC units broken. They have a shortage of staff that are able to assist residents that require more support. The residents with dietary restrictions have more limited options.

We are undergoing a lot of renovation at Cottonwood Village - we have a lot more amenities than most senior establishments.

Waterford had poor service and poor Food I think it's changed since the new manager took over but [name removed] moved from there about four or five months ago. I went to [facility removed], and that is a super nice place. She was very happy there. It's under new management and it may be better than it was! [name removed] would've stayed indefinitely because it's close to us if the Mills had been decent First and I ate there one day and it was green chili enchiladas I know it didn't say chicken usually it has chicken in it wherever you eat. This tasted like a mouth of sour cream and chicken soup, flour, tortilla, and green chili. It was the worst. I've eaten in a very long time. Every place needs to have a van with a lift so wheelchairs can be placed inside for travel if needed.
