Nice place and smells good. Friendly residents and staff. Good participation in exercise class that I saw. They have independent living and assisted living. One bedroom and two bedrooms. Backs up to a residential neighborhood. She recommended that based on what I told her about mom and dad they would do fine in independent living for right now. All residents apartments open into hallway instead of outside.

the Director did a good job - answered all questions, place was clean, orderly.

Lovely community; great apartments for AL environment

Activities Director showed us around. A few smells, not much going on at 5:30 on a Tuesday. Did not like the layout of the rooms. Met some sweet residents during our room tour.

Very clean, lots of space in the apt. Friendly staff and good food. I feel it's a bit large. Care level is low.

Very nice facility. The longer I was there the more I liked the place. Very different feel; comfortable. Apartments are good sized with lots of storage. Would be even better with two bathrooms. Friendly staff. Very clean. Lots of activities. Nice location. Remain in same apartment and add services as necessary.

Facilities not quite as pleasant as Morningside, but OK & people very nice. Some good amenities: exercise every day, cable included, Doctor, Phys. Ther. & Pediatrist visits every week (use as needed - bill to insurance), better price. Companion rooms did not have any privacy.

Very nice facility... Very clean... Friendly nurses and people working with the patients... Administrative staff is somewhat friendly... Close to a very bad hospital for elderly people...informed the Director NEVER to send my father there again (Mount Carmel East, Columbus Ohio).

The tour was ok - this facility was definitely not as clean as some others we visited. It was more affordable which was nice. The fitness center was not really a fitness center at all, it was just a little corner that had some equipment in it that was older. I did love the beautiful park like setting, the grounds were very well kept. They had a ground floor apartment available, but the one we were shown was very dirty and the screens were all torn, the lady said they were going to be remodeling it. She did follow up after the tour to check in with us. The location was wonderful, but it just was not as clean as I would have liked it to be.

Very nice community. This was a little further from family than we wanted.

Our loved ones situation was very unique and became quite temporary because of it but while she was there the community was always very nice and clean

The staff and everyone were wonderful, but we were not impressed with the food. My loved one was here for respite and the respite beds are very high and hard to get in and out of which can be dangerous. They are the only facility in the area that will do less than 2 weeks of respite - so they definitely have that to their benefit.

They do pretty good with the activities. And they do pretty well with cleanliness. They're supposed to clean your apartment once a week, and at first they weren't able to keep a maid, so they weren't providing that service. But after those first several weeks, they've been better. It's hard for them to keep employees in the food area as well. They're supposed to start breakfast around 6 or 6:30. Sometimes nobody shows up until 7 or a little after. The breakfast is pretty good, but the rest of the food at times can be awful. It's mostly edible, but not really good. At night, the norm is a bowl of soup and half a sandwich, which is pretty small. They do give you a cookie for dessert, so there are some things that are good. The staff is friendly, although I think they could do with more training and a good manager. At first we were told that women couldn't wear shorts but men could, which just set me off. But apparently they've changed that now. Some of the residents are friendly enough, but a couple of the residents have anger issues.

Right now most communities are having a hard time with staffing. Right now I would just encourage your loved one to call for help if it is needed. I do feel like this community is trying to make improvements and improve the staffing. They have activities in this community like bingo, pet visits and more for the residents to remain busy and active in the community. My loved one is not able to participate often but they have things going on all the time like people coming in to sing cooking and more.

Getting him in was really easy and the director was super helpful and seems to really care about the residents and making sure it is an easy transition for them. We have had some issues since moving in though. They are supposed to clean the apartments but they reuse the mop pads so it is actually making things worse. They are having a hard time keeping staff which is affecting the activities, the meal services, and the house-keeping. If they had consistent staff I think things would improve a lot.

This was not the right fit for my loved one. When I walked in the facility did not smell the best. I had seen some negative reviews online and had addressed them with the gal who was showing us around and I felt that she kind of brushed them off and I just did not get a good vibe. Also we wanted a place that specialized in memory care only and here they had assisted living and memory care.

I think they should have a nurse on staff, they had med techs but that was just not enough for the residents who needed more care which was most of them. They were also understaffed during our time here as well.
