The provide meals and transportation and that's good. I think the activities are okay. My brother-in-law that's there has a really poor memory so he doesn't know exactly what he's participated in but I know he's done some. We had an issue with the linen. They didn't tell us to mark our linens, we probably should have known but this being out first experience we didn't. They didn't tell us to mark them so some sheets got misplaced and they never found them and never offered to replace them either. That upset me. We also had an issue with housekeeping. They're supposed to have weekly housekeeping but they lost some staff and it had been 2 or 3 weeks since it's been cleaned.

I really did think I paid more than I should have. There are only 2 people there taking care of about 20 people. My husband fell quite a lot and I think had more staff been around maybe they would have checked on him more but the people that were working there were just wonderful. It wasn't their fault. The food was good and always on time. I like the staff very much. They were very sweet and seemed to like my husband a lot. When he was dying the all came in and said goodbye and I though that was very sweet. It was a very pleasant place. Quite frankly the memory care was very nice compared to other places I saw.

Very nice..I think a smaller community is a good fit for mom..

The only complaint my MIL has is the food. It could be that she is too picky since she was a great cook. I really don't know because I'm only there during the lunch meal and I will not pay the $8.

I really don't have anything to compare it to, we have no complaints, were happy and we wouldnt be moving him if they hadnt asked us to. Value seems to be pretty good compared to what were lookin at now. I guess care is pretty good overall, hes had some issues with aggression and touching and things which had nothing to do with Riverbend but they said if that happens hell have to be sent out to another facility. i didnt know if that was a state law or what that was, maybe just a Riverbend thing. They would go out for lunch and go for a ride around the bend but i thought the activities were apart of the problem, either they didnt have any or there werent alot of them.

My mother-in-law lives there. I know the care is fine, but my mother-in-law has had several problems. They didn't order her medications before they expired so she was without them for a couple of days. That shouldn't happen, but it's not the end of the world. They're so new that they still need to iron out a lot of kinks in the system. The activites are good. For my mother-in-law there are plenty. They have outings to the grocery store and other places. They have moving and bingo and happy hour. She's not someone who wants to do a lot of things, so for her it's good.

Grundy sales associate. Not many occupants out and about. Nice units, definitely worth consideration.

What a lovely place. I love the daily routine of everyday activities such as folding napkins for dinner. Very difficult to locate the bldg the 1st time. I accidentally found Palm Valley Inn and did a tour there as well. It's nice too but for different needs.

It was very hard finding a place that offered a two bedroom apartment, but Green Tree does and that was a big deal for us. The location is very convenient from my home and my work. There have been some issues with the laundry and housecleaning service not getting done, which is why I scored lower on their Care Services. It is too early to determine Green Tree's value so I scored it in the middle for now. The place is absolutely clean and the staff has been very understanding and welcoming to my loved one. Of the several places I toured Green Tree at Post Road was one of the few that took time to show me around, they allowed me to ask all my questions, and they followed up with me. They seemed they really wanted my loved one to live here. Other places were disappointing in that regard. My only suggestion for Green Tree is to provide its residents with an orientation package so that they know how to report maintenance issues or how to schedule transportation to their doctors appointment. There should be a list of general information of procedures and contact info to share with the residents who are capable of scheduling their own transport or maintenance repair.

I liked the spaciousness of Pacifica. I didn't come into a great deal of contact with direct caregivers. I'm sure their care would be adequate but now that I've seen Clare Bridge I really like it better.

We really like Marquis Place and ended up choosing it due to time restraints. We happened to get very lucky because they usually had a waiting list and when we inquired they just happened to have availability. They were within our budget and the location was very convenient for our family. They could use a wider variety of activities and could also cater some to the different stages the residents are in. My loved one is more active so the activities they have are not fun for her. Overall we are pleased with this community and would recommend it to anyone.

The reason we choose “Pacifica senior living community” is because the people and residents are friendly. They keep the rooms clean. There is a variety of activities even though he doesn’t take advantage of them and the food is good as well.

Visited this facility in June. Liked the open atmosphere when I first walked in. Manager spent over an hour asking me questions and taking the tour.

Very nice but Mom doesn't want to leave the Detroit area.

My mother has lived at The Woodlands since October 2012. I was hesitant at first to place her there, but her attorney actually recommended it. It received excellent ratings by the State Of Ohio agency that regulates nursing facilities. I was impressed the minute I walked through the door. It's not the most aesthetically beautiful place, but the staff there is wonderful. They treat all the residents like family and the nurses in particular take a special interest in each resident. The rooms, though small, are clean and well-kept, and plenty big enough for one person. The staff gets to know each resident and his/her habits and they check on the residents often to make sure they're OK. After about three weeks, my mom began to like it there. She really likes the food and the fact that everyone says "Hello" to her and calls her by name. There are many activities to do there, including exercises, bingo, trips to local stores and restaurants on The Woodlands bus and entertainers that come at least once a week. The Woodlands is also more reasonably priced than any of the other facilities I considered. Also, The Woodlands participates in the Medicaid Waiver program which is what my mother needed. All in all, I would highly recommend The Woodlands to anyone thinking of assisted living for their parent(s). The quality of care makes all the difference in the world.

further out so location not ideal but doable. not as active only saw a few people and the place felt big and could get lost in. space was ok in apartment. staff was not as welcoming at the first impression however tour person brenda was great. had what both my dad and mom need.
