People great. Aviary. C's mil lives there. Mercedes' mom is an administrator. Coffee cups out in courtyard, which was bleak. Not a lot of trees around despite name. Room is a perfect size. Bathroom is set up for a wheel chair and the bathroom fan was super loud.

Very nice;clean-top of our list

The building was larger, and the cost was way more than most of the other communities that we looked at. It was really nice, but just out of our budget. They did offer three meals a day, which is probably why it was so expensive.

I though that was a good place. The setting wasn't quite what we were looking for but the care seemed to be good.

This community was really really nice but also really expensive. If we had had the money, honestly, my parents probably would have moved here.

Wilderness theme. Very nice place with good options for Catholic prayer and Mass attendance. New units. Lots of social activity. Breakfast daily included In rent. Meal options available. Don't have to move to be placed in assisted living.

Enjoyed our tour and had lunch with one of the residents. Mom really enjoyed her visit but felt the rooms were a bit smaller. Very gracious and followed up with me.

We've had a pretyt good experience over there, mom just said that she loves living over there, she loves her apartment. It's actually one of the bigger ones there, it has a private balcony, 2 bedrooms and she really needed the closet space so she's really happy with that. I know when we moved in, I complained about the community fee but as soon as I even mentioned it they waived it. She likes the food, apparently that's a big deal when I started looking at other places, I don't have anything to compare them to, but it sounds like we found a pretty good place. Anything I had to deal with, they were fine. Mom had to go to the hospital a couple of weeks ago, I was actually on vacation, she had this numbness and called 911 and went to the hospital. One of the ladies at Waterford called me telling me what was going on and that was very helpful because mom had forgotten her phone of course so I was able to track her down. I think the only complaint was that some of the people didn't know what had happened to her so when they didn't see her at dinner they were asking about her but I'm not sure that's their responsibility to tell them what happened. This has just been a learning experience because I had nothing to compare it to, it was really a difficult search, but I have been real pleased and if she doesn't show up for one of the meals, even if she hasn't said anything, they come by and check on her.

facility clean and staff friendly and helpful

This would have been my choice if Elmcroft did not come up with shared room. The director of nursing was an awesome person! very knowledgeable and assuring. Spent 2 hrs on my tour and returned a second time.

Mother almost moved into that one. We were very impressed with that. They had really good food and quality furnishings. The appliances were nice. The rooms were kind of a darker beige or taupe color that my mother just didn't like and she asked if she could paint it. They said oh yes! If you bring the paint they'll paint it whatever color you want. They seemed like they were very accessible.

I think the care is very good, I think they're responsive, their staff is very very friendly. It's a very very nice place, in terms of the physical layout of it, it's very clean, it's all one story, it's new but it has a very relaxed feel to it. The staff knows her very well, I think the food could be a little better but the nutrition there is very good. The dietician is outstanding, I'm a physician so I have a lot of questions about nutrition and she's up on all the latest stuff. My parents are verry happy there. They have their hair done, they have their nails done, my father goes on the exercse machine. Probably the best asset is its so clean and nice, we looked at so many others that were dark and dingy and this was so light. To be fair, we haven't used their services to the fullest extent but the laundry's done on time, the room is spotless. I would highly recommend it to somebody else, just the location is nice. It's essentially across the street from Round Rock hospital and its real quiet and calm.

This facility was our first choice until my father passed away suddenly. Now we feel it is not a good fit for just my mother.

This facility has changed their contact person (no longer patty mummert) & for some reason, they were not aware of our appt - they stated that A Place for Mom must have forgotten to let them know of our appt. Having said that, they were friendly & gave us a thorough tour. The best thing about this facility was all the activities available - more than any other facility. They go to branson, to casinos, multiple shopping opportunities, a church shuttle, & many activities there at the facility. The rooms were very small - the smallest of all the places we saw, & the prices were the highest of any other places. The dining area was very spacious & the food was very good. It seemed pretty homey, which we liked, but don't think Mom can afford to go there.

My in-law have moved in there and they love it. I think they're really good. I think they might be a little bit expensive but they work with their residents and things and it's really great. They have all kinds of activities continually. For the most part they think the food is very good. Occasionally you run across something that you're not crazy about but they have other options.

This was a contender, it is further away than I wanted and it had a lot more people but I didn't really give it a shot because when I was looking at it I was just trying to get used to the idea of "sending them away" but where I got reconciliation was looking at the Bible and the story of King Solomon and David. So that's where I felt a release that it's okay to pay someone to take care of your dad. They got me open to the idea, they have an indoor pool, but I have one and my dad didn't use it so I didn't want to pay the extra money. I didn't get caught up on the glitz and glitter and focused more on finding something close and good for my dad.

They have been very helpful in getting my dad settled into the new environment. The staff is very friendly and attentive and the other residents seem to be happy, which helps with the adjustment.

Emilee introduced me to all of the key staff members. Observed the residents play bingo and everyone seemed to be enjoying the game. Clean facility. Some updating and remodeling. Scheduled and completed a visit with my mother. Nurse conduting the interview was exceptionally good.

The provide meals and transportation and that's good. I think the activities are okay. My brother-in-law that's there has a really poor memory so he doesn't know exactly what he's participated in but I know he's done some. We had an issue with the linen. They didn't tell us to mark our linens, we probably should have known but this being out first experience we didn't. They didn't tell us to mark them so some sheets got misplaced and they never found them and never offered to replace them either. That upset me. We also had an issue with housekeeping. They're supposed to have weekly housekeeping but they lost some staff and it had been 2 or 3 weeks since it's been cleaned.

I really did think I paid more than I should have. There are only 2 people there taking care of about 20 people. My husband fell quite a lot and I think had more staff been around maybe they would have checked on him more but the people that were working there were just wonderful. It wasn't their fault. The food was good and always on time. I like the staff very much. They were very sweet and seemed to like my husband a lot. When he was dying the all came in and said goodbye and I though that was very sweet. It was a very pleasant place. Quite frankly the memory care was very nice compared to other places I saw.
