My mother lives here and likes it. Almost all of the staff have treated her well: they are kind and attentive. She has made friends with some of the other residents; I am so glad they have been welcoming as opposed to snobbish. For my mother, it is an advantage that independent living and assisted are not separated; she needs some assistance, but has more in common with the independent people. What I don't like is that management is behind on needed maintenance; the food is not as good as advertised; and the activities are rather limited.

The community is mostly pretty good. My mother likes the staff and residents though she had a bad encounter with one rude staff. The food is not as good as they claim. The community are short changing on maintenance and seem slow about doing upkeep. There are not quit as many activities they have that my mom is interested in but they do go to the library once a month, I would like to see them go maybe twice a month. We were looking for a place with basic transportation needs. The Waterford is the place she chose.

The staff seems to be doing really well. My concern is with the activities, we were told all these activities would be happening, and they weren't happening. They were between activities director, but now they have a new one, and I haven't had a chance to see what she will do yet. The nursing staff is good. I don't have complaints about the food. She likes her room, and everything is pretty clean.

We eventually had to move because this was out of our price range. They were very good, everyone was nice, and it was clean. The food was good, but best of all was the activities. Their activities director was wonderful, and always had something going on. I wish I could have taken her with me when we moved.

We toured this location when we were looking into care options for a loved one. I thought this was a nice looking place overall, and the people seemed friendly. However, it was just too big a place for my loved one, I do not think she would have been comfortable here. It was a bit less expensive than some of the options we looked at, but they also did not seem to have as many services.

WE TOUREDS THIS PLACE, VERY PRETTY BUT TOO BIG & BUSY FOR OUR MOTHER & HER NEEDS. SEEMED TO PUSH THE SOCIAL ASPECTS MORE THEN THE MEDICAL ONES. PROBABLY A GREAT PLACE FOR SENIOR LIVING BUT DID NOT FEEL IT FIT OUR MOTHER'S NEEDS FOR ASSISTED LIVING. WITH THAT SAID WE TOURED EIGHT PLACES AND THIS WAS OUR SECOND CHOICE.

I might give this one 5 stars but I need to see the completed construction. It is the most affordable of the complete assisted living homes. Giving them serious consideration.

They are moving out. It feels confining for them. It's a nice place, and very clean. The majority of the staff are friendly, but there are a few sour-pusses, just a couple on the waitstaff in the kitchen, and they are more concerned with tasks rather than service. If you let them do all that they will do, it's almost priceless, but people don't take advantage of all of the services they provide. They have a lot of space, it feels like a home rather than just an apartment. The communication could be a little better between the staff, if a resident has an issue they aren't qualified to handle, they should do better passing it on to the right personnel. They could do a little bit of a better job, getting some of the residents involved in the activities. I just really think the director Donna has a good way with people, she really does engage people. She is the reason we chose it. I think they could use a social director though, someone building community within the community.

We were very impressed upon first visit & move in re: our parents. With the remake of The Woodlands we have noticed a negative change with the kitchen & dining staff. A timely presentation of meals seems to have taken a downward spin. We are pleased with the nursing staff & front office personnel. We are hoping that in time the changes will bring about a positive result of all aspects of our parents' new home. Thank you to all those who work hard to make the living experience pleasant.

Overall things have gone well with The Amberleigh, it is a clean, nice looking facility, and the staff have all been very friendly and helpful. We have run into a few unexpected difficulties regarding the level of assistance they provide, however. One is example is that we did not realize that their breakfast service is self-service, which makes it very difficult for my loved ones, as they are in wheelchairs and cannot easily transport a tray or reach the items to serve themselves.

The people at Crown Pointe are very cooperative and friendly. They do pretty much whatever you ask them to do, and communicate very well, keeping us informed and in the loop. The food there is also very good, which is a definite plus.

I would love to live there myself! they have really been wonderful. They understand that it's a process (sometimes a long and difficult one), and not just a quick decision, and they have been very good helping out with each step of the process.

I am really pleased with Georgetowne Place in the (almost) year my mom has been a resident. It is clean and the people are all very nice and helpful. There has been some issues with the kitchen being shut down but that seems to be getting better.

They are trying hard. It looks pretty clean, the ladies were pulling off the covers to get a spot out, so I think they are doing a pretty good job. The staff is friendly. It seems like a good value, because you pay a set amount and then there are extra charges for the services and care you need. Everyone who comes and visits says the food looks pretty darn good.

I went to Waterford at Plano because the previous place changed ownership and policies. I need a place that serves or offers a low-carb diet. Waterford has that.

We looked at this when we were touring. It was nice, but we felt it was more of an independent place, since the utilities were not included in the price. You had to pay for your own, the water and the electric are not included. I didn't want to have to worry about those bills too.

we have two loved ones at the waterford at college station in college station, tx. The facility is very clean. The staff is very responsive to meeting our needs. The food may need a little supplementation. The staff is very caring and professional. Activities does not really apply to us. Overall, are very happy with their services and would recommend them to others.

So far they are doing a pretty good job. It's very clean, and the staff is very friendly. I don't have much to compare it to, but I pay exactly what I expect to, there don't seem to be hidden charges. The food is really quite good, but there are always complaints with food from time to time. They have activities going on often, my only complaint, and they are aware of it, and trying to help, but encouraging her to get involved with the activities has been difficult. They are not exactly assisted living, more independent, so they don't really cover that, but that has been our only disappointment. One thing that I really loved was that they take cats, and have been really great about making sure the cat feels welcomed as well. This was huge for our loved one.

I'm pleased with Summit Place overall, I think they do a good job here. It is a clean, well kept place, and the staff have all seemed very friendly. I am satisfied with the level of care they provide, and they seem to be able to provide for everything my loved one needs.

I like the size of it. It isn't real huge, it's very comfortable, not super sterile; it is homey. They're patient with her, and they're really willing to work with us on issues that we've had with her. They seem to have alot of really good activities. She doesn't want to do a whole lot. They have alot of activities, and try to get her to participate, but she doesn't want to. The location is close to my sister, and I"m in the area alot, so it's good for me. The only thing that could really use improvement is that It took a while for us to understand everything works there. I had to ask alot of question.
