Good tour; beautiful facility. Would not have the extra care our mom would need. The memory care would not be a good fit as our mom is not as independent as those living there. Was a little concerned by the lack of staff I saw as well.

I've been here 7 months and am very pleased with everything

The staff member who gave the tour was very nice in general, and was especially nice to my 84 year-old father, who was on the tour with us, so I appreciate that. What stands out to me as a positive at Woodholme compared to other facilities is the high ceilings of the residents’ rooms because the high ceilings make it seem like the rooms aren’t so small. The fact that it was a smaller facility than others was appealing. It was nice that an activity for residents was happening when we got there. I also liked the security procedures for check-in.

Did not like the pressure to use their Pharmacy. Pleasant facility & staff, I would recommend.

The place is always clean. The staff are attentive. The apartment works well. Everyone is very nice and very patient.

The care is good, and the facility is impeccably clean and well maintained. However, everything is à la carte... even assistance with compression socks is an additional charge. The food leaves a lot to be desired. It is extremely bland, and the largest meal is at lunch. Often, only very basic sandwiches are served for dinner. Our family member is quite a foodie, so this situation hits hard. Compared to his previous assisted living facility, the room and included storage options are small, requiring us to add additional storage, as well as significantly reduce his wardrobe.

The Ashton at Dorsey had a very clean and bright atmosphere. Lots of natural light, colors that brightened rooms in both the common areas and apartment. The team at The Ashton was also very friendly and engaging. Visiting the memory care floor and seeing the activities and how the staff was engaging their residents sold us on this is the right place.

Symphony Manor has been a great place for my dad. They address his needs both physically and cognitively. It is clean in both his private room and the main area. He loves the food and the activities. The staff is kind and responsive. It is a huge weight off my shoulders to know he is so well cared for.

I like the individual cottages. I do feel like they are short on staff. Wish they had more consistency in same PCA's in each cottage. For the most part feel like he is getting good care

This facility was one of several that I have visited recently. I find it to be comfortable and friendly. Especially appealing to me are its location and apparent value for money. Many facilities have tried to emphasize a lot of fluff and amenities that are not important for what I am looking for. This is a comfortable care facility that I would be happy to pay for and not a country club that would be wasteful for my eventual needs.

[Name removed] was a great host and tour guide! We started the appointment with background information about our loved one, which led to the appropriate cottages to tour. [Name Removed] listened carefully, was friendly, and knowledgeable. Creekside is clean with very nice grounds and patio areas. We were able to see various rooms—bare and completely decorated with residents personal belongings. The caregivers we saw seemed happy and relaxed with the residents. The atmosphere was relaxed but structured. The tour was very informative.

I liked the community feel of Symphony Manor. I want somewhere I can be with my husband as long as possible. The rooms are quite small so I don't think its a good fit for my purposes. It is also not really in my income range.

Overall great care change cleanliness to a five. Nice room. My father in law was in no shape to go to any of these functions. I was happy with everything except when he died after being there a short time they sent a bill that instead of getting a refund which I should have got a got a bill. How can that be? I paid two months up front and he was there for maybe ten days. It a shame it a real nice place I would live their and be happy but the billing is insane. How do we owe them money when I definitely should have got back one months payments period. I went from being real happy to being upset. So it effects my overall rating

The facility was clean and well-maintained, and the administrative team was both competent and caring throughout our experience. One challenge we noticed was that staff scheduling sometimes made consistency among caregivers difficult. However, it meant a lot to our family that the community left such a positive impression on others. Each time friends or family visited my mom, they commented on how top-notch the facility was. Hearing those compliments reassured me that we had chosen a good place for her, and overall I would recommend it to others.

My meeting with [Name Removed] (Marketing Director) was very pleasant. She was very responsive in answering all my questions. The facility did not meet my expectations. The apartments and environment did not meet my expectations nor provide the accommodations I'm looking for in an independent living facility. I would not consider The Waterford on Huebner suitable.

The staff is very friendly. They have some great little outings that are great for my mom, and she's pretty happy with the meals. She's adjusting and really enjoying even some of the other residents. The facility is relatively clean.

The facility was very nice and the Associate Executive Director gave a great tour and is extremely knowledgeable. The only downside has nothing to do with the facility - it would just be a very long (2 hours) drive for me to visit and/or take my loved one to appointments.

Staff are great, showing what's available, explaining activities, ministore, introducing staff and residents, making it feel more comfortable. Love the balconies and wall space to hang pictures. Not a lot of closet space but I'm moved from a 3bedroom house to a one bedroom. Just need to adjust.

They have encouraged him to interact with the community and we would recommend The Waterford at Decatur to other families based on the experience
