They have been very welcoming to my parents, trying to get them involved in the activities, and feeling hat home. They have a really good move-in orientation to help them know what to expect. One complaint I would make is that they advertise (and we pay for) fitness class every day, but they don't have it every day because they don't always have someone there to teach it. I feel that if you're going to advertise for it and we're going to pay for it, we should get it. Another thing is that they need more drivers. They have only one driver, and with a lot of people to shuttle mom has had to wait for her ride a long times at times, once having to wait out in the cold a long while. But overall, the facility is wonderful and the people are great. It's been a very good experience.

It's going pretty good. It's very clean, and the staff is friendly. I thought there would be a little more of an orientation, they gave us a manual, with a lot of great information. But knowing some things like which pharmacies deliver there, maybe a fact sheet, would have been very helpful. She hasn't missed a thing since she's been there, she goes on all the excursions. She hasn't complained about the food at all. We chose it based on the other residents we saw, who seemed very outgoing and friendly, and have been wonderful and always, say hello, it's great!

I didn't have to look far when it got to the point that Mom could no longer live on her own. The Woodlands is the next best thing. She still has her own living space, but now, I don't worry about her like I did before.

My parents lived in Dayton in an independent living facility. They were bragging about how they were improving their service and having someone on the property til 9 P.M. The Woodlands has a 24 hour nursing staf f. My father-in -law stayed at the Woodlands and after looking at facilities in Dayton when my father past away, we knew we wanted to bring my mother here. The food is GREAT and the staff has genuine concern for the residents. My mother has some memory lapses, and the staff is very patient with her. They have many wonderful activities. There are outings to resturants, shopping and my mother really likes BINGO. If I have any concerns they are addressed very quickly. My mother had a late trip to the ER one night and there were four staff members gathered around her bed, with her dinner. It is a clean home. Making the transition to a nursing home is a difficult one, but the Woodlands is GREAT.

It has been a very rough experience dealing with mom having Alzheimers, however the people at Whitley Place have done the best anyone could possibly do to help out. The facility is very clean and the staff is very friendly.

Great place, convenient location, people are friendly. only wish I would have put my mom there sooner. We were able to put all of the furniture/antiques from her home into a 2 bed 2 bath apartment. Also this is a secure location. Wich is quite comforting.

Very happy. The director has been very responsive with concerns when we had questions about how to do something. They know their population, knowing what people at that age need without putting them down or making them self conscious of their weaknesses that they have at that age. There was one small house-keeping concern once, but we brought it to their attention and it was handled promptly and never repeated.

My siblings and I didn't have to look far for a place for our Mom. From our first visit we've been very pleased with the care she is receiving. They're doing some renovations right now and everything is really starting to current and fresh. Any of the residents I've seen seem well cared for. I would definitely recommend The Woodlands!

Our loved one has lived at Waterford for going on one year. It is a beautifully designed complex, with so many amenities and things to do. If someone is needing a social lifestyle, they will have a great time. Waterford offers cookouts, cards and games, exercise class, Bible study, themed parties, outings to retail stores and restaurants...just to name a few things on a weekly basis. We currently are paying the minimum rate, but after comparing several different communities, we can state that the cost is lower than most. We would highly recommend this community for it's structured lifestyle and friendly staff.

My experience with The Wellington at North Richland Hills has been great. Things are going awesome. They provide my loved one with great care, food is good, staff is very friendly, and we're pleased overall.

I'm pleased with Elmcroft of Sherwood. Staff is friendly, and the cleanliness of the facility is up to standards. I'm satisfied with the attention staff provides, activities offered, and services they provide. Overall I'm pleased with Elmcroft of Sherwood.

The Waterford is just what we were looking for. The location is good, the amenities are wonderful, the activities are varied and interesting and the staff is very friendly.

Waterford is a lovely facility. Our loved one is having a bit of difficulty adjusting to so many changes, but in time we believe he will enjoy his new living arrangement. We have found Waterford clean, full of a variety of activities, and staffed by caring, competent people. We would highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for a place for an elderly parent.

We visited my mom in her new place recently. We loved it! We were very impressed with the amenities, the cleanliness, and the staff. Everyone we encountered was pleasant, nice & helpful. We'd recommend a bocce ball set for out in the court yard. Also, perhaps a memory matching card game for the game room. Overall, we left knowing that Mom was in a nice place with caring people.

I needed independent living within an assisted living facility for two people. They modified two adjacent rooms to suit. They now have a decent size living area, meals prepared, occasional transportation, in a great location.

The staff are great! They seem to really care about their residents. Questions or concerns--just ask! Mom & Dad were to both move in, but when Dad went into the hospital in bad shape, I called and they juggled things to get Mom into a studio only a couple weeks after they were both to move into a 1 BR. My sister visits my mom often and has found the staff very cooperative in any problems or concerns.

went to tour and immediately loved it when I walked in. Bright and very active with a band playing at lunch. Food was terrific and so many choices, had chicken and mashed potatoes. Desert was homemade cream puffs and even low sugar. I didn't expect the facility to be so active and was for over two hours with a speaker from the University. Prices were very good for all you get, I think $1,699 to start. Oh, and a free shuttle service. As I was leaving my mom said "I could live here" as we passed a couple small dogs traveling through with their person. they are pet friendly too!

It's been a difficult transition period. I liked that they are there 24 hours. I know that she is taken care of. Thus far in our relationship with the caregivers, they are incredible, and they seem to be very, very caring.

My mom's apartment is beautiful. We chose Waterford for that reason and because the residents we encountered during the tour seemed very happy. When we escorted Mom to the dining room for lunch the first day, four residents came over to introduce themselves and say hello. Waterford has a very reasonably priced in-house home health service (no four-hour minimum), which helps my 93-year-old mom with pill-taking, exercise, and accompanying to lunch (it's a rather circuitous route to the dining room from her apartment, and my mom has mild dementia). The entire place just feels positive. If Mom declines, she can move from independent living to assisted living in the same facility. My husband and I enjoy hanging out with her in such a pleasant place.
