We toured this community and we liked the community This location was too far and we still wanted to be able to care for my father. The community was clean and the menu was very appealing. We liked the activities that are offered.This location was not convenient for us, but we would like to recommend this community to other families for care.

My dad has been at BVM since August of 2016. We are very happy with the apartment, the assistance and kindness they show him. I have spoken most often to [Removed] so I want to give a shout out to those ladies as they have been wonderful to work with. BVM has a lot of activities available, although I'm not sure dad participates in a lot of different ones. I'm sure he hits the weekly ice cream socials and the Happy Hour! In the time he has been there they have had multiple events where the families are also invited. The on site church services are really important to him. This facility also has a higher percentage of men compared to many other facilities and a lot of Veterans, Both were important to us. So our experience with BVM has been quite positive.

I also had a good experience while touring The Waterford at Levis Commons. The people there were very friendly and the tour guide was knowable. Thre facility was very clean and organized. I would recommend it to anyone looking, it was just not the best for my loved one's needs.

We were really pleased with our tour of The Waterford. The people that we met were very kind [Removed] gave us a lot of helpful information. It was a very nice community, but they did not have continuing care, which I was looking for.

Moving my mother into The Waterford went very smooth. So far, she is happy with her apartment and everything is going very well. Everyone is very nice and it has been a good experience so far.

My mother is a resident here. Things have been pretty good. She's played the violin for thirty years and they were able to get her involved in the church services.As far as the food she was disappointed because they served corn dogs one night, it wasn't a big deal and I told her to eat in her apartment the night they serve corn dogs. One thing that they said they were going to do is replace the carpet in the hallways and do some changes to some rooms which they still have not done. They did update the elevator but I don't know what it looked like before. The people who work at Waterford are very friendly and I actually knew one of the ladies who works in the front from years ago.

I was very impressed with the Crown Pointe when I toured it. The community was very clean and all of the staff members were very nice. I did not notice anything major that needed improvement while I was there. Ultimately, it came down to my mother choosing another community.

I really like this community so far! I living in the Independent Living, It is small houses kind of like a Duplex. It has been a very good fit for me and I am happy. The place is clean and everyone is very friendly.

Was extremely please with staff from the top down. Everyone went out of their way to make this transition for my Aunt as painless as possible. After dealing with many different facilities, I would highly recommend The Waterford at Thousand Oaks!!

When I went to tour The Wellington at North Bend Crossing, I thought it was a beautiful place. The tour guide that took me around gave me a lot of good information and showed me around the entire building, I think she did a good job. The community was clean and organized.

This is a very active and vibrant community. My father in law says the food is average. When we visited the residents made him feel right at home and this helped with his decision to live here. The community is clean and well taken care of. The staff are very helpful and followed up with us after our tour. I would recommend this community.

I have met with [Removed] and Geneva Hillhouse, who both work at The Waterford. They are both gracious and knowledgeable about their senior community. The Waterford is a beautiful community, spacious, and kept immaculately clean! The residents seem happy and mingling about when I have been there.

I liked this community, but unfortunately they were unable to provide the level of care she needed. She is now in a nursing home. Overall it is a nice place with kind people. The community looked nice, they do a good job with the cleanliness of the community. The staff is great, they are very friendly. Only issue was that they would not bring her breakfast to her room, when she wasn't able to go down. I wouldn't mind living here when I get older. I would recommend it, it is a good place.

This is a wonderful community. The staff are very aware of what is going on with the residents. They take the time to get to know them and I know they are watching over mom. Mom is in the memory care unit and she has her own apartment. She seems to like the food and they do have activities available. Everything is bright, open and the residents seem happy to be living here. I would recommend this community.

I am doing very well in my community. They have helpful staff and help me when needed. The meals that is prepared and served here is good to me. They also have enough good activities for me to participate in. I would recommend this place to family and friends.

My first pleasant surprise was hearing from A Place for Mom at 8AM, the morning after a late-night internet search. The second was the call from Laurel Woods soon after. [Removed] met with me the day after Thanksgiving and my mother is already in Memory Care there. Yes, I was lucky there was one bed available, but all of the staff has been wonderfully helpful and supportive through the entire process of getting my mother transferred here from NY. I am particularly impressed with the Executive Director's in-depth knowledge of the different types of dementia and their very different manifestations at different stages. The staff on Laurel Lane is kind and clearly dedicated to the well-being of their residents. I also have friends with relatives currently or in the past in independent living, assisted living and memory care and all have spoken very highly of this facility. A fellow Hospice volunteer who has worked their over a period of 10 years tells me she has always been impressed with the cleanliness and the care given.

This is a wonderful place for dad. After talking him into assisted living, my brother and I couldn't have found a better place. Super clean, friendly and the residents are happy. This is the only place for my dad.

They clean the community daily and mom's apartment weekly. They do her laundry as well. The food is excellent. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and help mom with her medication. The residents I have met were happy to live there and will tell you so. Mom is wondering why she did not move into this community sooner.

Wonderful...Mom is enjoying her new apartment. The staff is very friendly and helpful. She loves the food and the attention from the waitstaff. She seems happy and she just sparkles when she talks about living there.
