Brookview Meadows is a beautiful building with a great woods view in the back. It features a pool, walking path, and great room for fun activities. When it comes to taking care of your loved ones they are on top of it. Their leadership staff have been there multiple years and create a friendly environment. From large rooms with patios to the food in the dining room your loved ones will love it!

My mom and I came in to tour the Wellington after touring several other community. There was a great difference in the atmosphere. The residents were so friendly and welcoming made us feel right at home. The lady [name removed], who gave us the tour was very knowledgeable, but what stuck out was she knew all the residents by name and you can tell she had a great relationship with them also. She was very personable with my mom and made a great impression on her(which is not easy to do), Thumbs up. The facility was well kept and I loved that the apartment had a nice size kitchen. My mom is looking forward to moving in, in January

Moving our father from independent to assisted living was a difficult decision. We looked at many facilities in different suburbs. We chose Cedar Lake because it felt the most like home, not a facility. A one bedroom unit was a great transition from a house. The Cedar Lake team is organized, professional and caring. The dining room offers a variety of menu items and great service. There are plenty of activities and living rooms to visit with guests or even host a birthday party. The residents at Cedar Lake are a wonderful group of people that had many things in common with our father. I highly recommend Cedar Lake.

My mom lives at the Wellington. We decided to have a family dinner there the other day in the private dining room. I wasn’t sure how it would feel eating in the private dining room, we had five adults and two children under four. The staff quickly dispelled any doubts I had. The staff members ( wait staff and the chef specifically) went above and beyond making us all feel comfortable. It felt like we were at home. They made sure the children were well taken care of.

To the Employees of Rosemont Assisted Living For my parents, [names removed] the decision to leave their home and receive much needed help from strangers was difficult in the beginning. As for my Dad, the question of moving to an assisted living was simple. What’s best for [name removed]? He was fully aware how difficult the strain of daily living was becoming for her. It was difficult for my Mother to come to the realization that she needed help after a lifetime of giving help to all who knew her. Her life was spent defining the meaning of “Caregiver”. Countless casseroles and meals delivered to sick or grieving families began over 65 years ago. It was no small thing for Mom to lose her ability to prepare meals for those she loved. So, the decision was made and our entire family was anxious to see how they would cope. But, with a little time and an abundance of caring and smiling faces they settled in at Rosemont and placed a sign on their door “Home Sweet Home”. There needs to be mentioned that they lived in the only apartment with kitchen cabinets (minus a stove), dining area, huge living room and a separate bedroom large enough for two queen size beds, recliner and a TV. When my Dad passed, there was ample space for me to stay with my Mom and be there for her to grieve and talk about the 46 happy years they spent together. Between my sisters and brother, her grandsons/granddaughters, my brother in laws and myself she was never alone until the day she joined our Dad in Heaven three months after he passed. Being there most of these three months afforded me the opportunity to witness the care and comfort my Mom was given. The staff and I were on a first name basis and no doubt there are those who stood out. They know who they are because they fill the halls everyday with their love and passion to care for the elderly. Thanks to all of the Rosemont office staff, nursing staff, caregivers and support staff for the great care given to my parents who both lived into their 90’s. They deserved the best that you could offer and all of you delivered. Thank You, from their four children, six grandchildren, and thirteen great grandchildren

I think that the entire staff is good and do all they can to help all of us have a good living. I am well pleased with all the things they do.

I just want to say what a fantastic place you have there. The staff is incredible. My father is 92 years old with hearing and vision problems. The staff really cares about him, I must call out one in particular – [name removed]. [Name removed] looks out for all the residents but has gone well above looking out for my dad. I cannot say enough good things about her. I live almost 700 miles from the facility. Staff members [names removed] never hesitate to speak with me about dad and are always eager to talk about his day to day activities and outings. As stated, they really care about their residents, something hard to find in a lot of assisted living facilities. Dad calls Park Place his home, the staff are like family!!!

My adult children toured this facility and were impressed with it. It meets all my needs- pleasant and efficient staff, good food, and conveniently located to my family.

When I needed an Assisted Living place. I sold my home in East Texas and my grand daughter found Rosemont. When she saw it she said "that's nanny's home!" Home it is. I've loved it here since the minute I came to live here. The staff and all the workers are great people. They are so kind and loving. The food is so good. I'm on a special diet and they do their very best to supply my meals. They do supply then with care. All i can do is rate A++.

Very nice facility. Really like the concept of cottages with 10 to 14 people to create a more intimate community. For the needs of my father and his memory support issues, this seems like and will be the best place for him.

From the moment I walked into Park Place Winghaven I knew it was the place for my mom. I wanted a friendly, loving environment for my mom with great care. THIS IS THE PLACE! The place is beautiful with great rooms for each resident. [Name removed] the director is very involved in the care of each resident. The Concierge’s are friendly and caring to all. The food is great the activities are wonderful. The aides and nurses go out of their way to interact with each resident. My mom loves the staff, the residents and her new home. This is a must see if you are looking for assistant living for a loved one. The price is all inclusive: food, activities, outings, housecleaning, laundry, and individual services for each residence. They treat the residents like family. ?? [name removed]

We found Cedar Lake to be very warm and welcoming. [Name removed] is a rock star! His presentation and tour were excellent. A genuinely nice person with loads of compassion. We could tell he really loves his job.

Love the place

Although it has been less than a week since we moved our aunt to Cedar Lake, we are very happy and satisfied with our decision.. In all honesty, Cedar Lake was my first and only choice for an assisted living facility. [Name removed] made such a great impression on us, I knew I could stop looking. There was no bait and switch and no surprises. What they promised is exactly what happened. Prices for services are all honestly quoted up front. The sincerity and concern for the well-being of their residents is a priority. The facility is beautiful, the employees are all friendly and the dining room could be comparable to the Ritz Carlton. The daily list of activities are incredible, with a great variety of interests. My aunt’s apartment is a perfect size. She has a den, living room, bedroom, extra-large walk-in closet, MBR, and small galley kitchen. Our move had to be done quickly as my aunt could no longer safely live alone. [Name removed] provided constant communication, answered all of our questions and expediated the process when we ran into problems. I especially liked the full service senior moving company (Paxem) that provided a customized floor plan for her furniture and expert Packers and movers that within 6 hours we had an HGTV reveal for my aunt. The consideration of [name removed] and his staff for my aunt and us, during a very difficult and stressful time will never be forgotten and will always be appreciated. We are so happy with our choice.

“There's No Place Like Home” Do you remember those words that Judy Garland spoke when she portrayed Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz? Often times, when one has to transition from one phase of their life into another and leave "home", those sentiments are likely to be encountered. All of us transition in our lives, the process bittersweet with fringes of anxiety regarding what will await us in our new place of residence. My transition to Cedar Lake Assisted Living and Memory Care almost 2 % years ago was a seamless one. After having lived in the same house for 68 years and the same city (Chicago) since birth, with the exception of my time in the Army, there was a sense of sadness because of all the memories that engulfed my mind....... the familiarity with the neighborhoods and the many friends | had established relationships, social, civic, and religious activities that | was actively involved in throughout the years; | had to pack all those emotional belongings and take the memories with me. The staff at Cedar Lake, understanding that change can be challenging, truly made the process one that offered serenity and hospitality, warm personalities and an inviting environment to ward off the chill of anxiety. With attributes of warmth and serenity, the process of transitioning was uncomplicated and quickly became my new home. | am very appreciative of the competence that each staff member portrays in their particular duties and the kind and genuine manner in which they exercise their responsibility. That personal warmth frames ALL of the other features that | find very pleasing. The residents have lovely appointments in the facility, resembling that of a five-star hotel. The chef and wait staff does an awesome job of preparing a variety of delicious foods and serving them in an elegant dining room setting. Just as there exists a daily menu of delicious meals, there also exists a daily menu of social activities, which include something that everyone can enjoy and engage their minds in meaningful ways. A member of the clergy and other ministers provide for our spiritual needs on a weekly basis, offering words to uplift, console, and guide us in our daily lives and interactions, thereby maintaining a serene and pleasant atmosphere. For those who enjoy crafts, reading, sports, gardening, dining out, being entertained by various talented people, field trips to various local areas of interest, Happy Hours on Friday afternoons, or just working on a jigsaw puzzle with the assistance of others or in solitude, your day is generously gifted with the pleasures and relaxations you once enjoyed and now can continue to pursue. Personally, | couldn't be happier elsewhere. I was made welcome right at the start. When I work I was a bookkeeper for a retirement community so I know what I was looking for and the questions to ask before I came. I even look at other community before I made up my mind.
