The staff at The Waterford are extremely friendly and helpful, from the front desk, to management, to dining room staff and maintenance staff. Everyone is helpful and always with a smile. There had been turnover in activities people, but [Name removed], current activities director, is so nice! Everyone has been great to help with my mom's transition to senior independent living. I love the activities that have been a part of The Waterford, and appreciate that families of residents are always welcome to participate. I am amazed that employees know the residents and call them by name. The first time I toured The Waterford, I knew that it would be a great place for my mom

This facility was opened about 3 years ago. It was recently purchased by American House, and i don't think the transition is complete regarding permanent executive staff. Overall my mom is happy. Food quality and service needs improvement. Service is frequently slow, food cold, desserts barely edible. Mom keeps asking for food she can prepare in the microwave, which annoys me because we are paying for meals. Care staff is friendly and generally helpful. Although medications are not always delivered at consistent times. Pills that should be given at 6pm are sometimes not brought to mom until 10pm, when she has to be awakened to take them. In house physical therapy is very good. Mom came in after rehab for a fractured femur and she has regained a significant amount of mobility. Activities are diverse and staff does a good job keeping mom involved without being overbearing. Facility is very clean. Trash is taken out daily and her room is cleaned weekly. Cleaning and maintenance staff are very pleasant and helpful. When American House took over, they assured families there would be communications about changes etc, but i haven't received anything. Since I frequently travel, email communications are important to me so I hope this will be implemented soon. Mom says she feels safe, cared for and happy and has no desire to move!

The staff was amazing took the time to meet and answer all my questions, my neighbors mother lives there and she is always doing activities and the food was wonderful. The managers all meet with me and gave me a list of there numbers incase we had a question about anything, the fact that they are newly updating the community was also nice. I would say this is a wonderful place my father will be moving at the [date removed].

The only thing that *really* matters is that my mom *loves* the place. She loves the food, the staff, the other residents, and the facility. But my siblings and I have also come to truly appreciate the staff. They were extremely helpful with getting us the info we needed to help us all make our decision, provided my sister and mom with a fantastic guided tour, and helped mom get moved in and setup with as little fuss and muss as possible. And since then, the staff has been nothing but helpful in trying to accommodate all of our needs and requests. Truly top-notch.

My mom is in Elmcroft of Maumelle and is extremely happy. She loves the staff, meals and the activities there. This has taken a load off of my mind. Thank you Elmcroft!!

I have toured many communities. The Waterford at Carpenter's Creek has a very warm and friendly feeling as soon as you walk through the door. They told us that the community was remodeled last year. It is bright and clean. The residents we spoke with were happy and enjoyed living there. We also met a lot of staff on our tour and they were very nice and informative. There were activities going on and snacks being served in the big Activity Room. I also learned they had a perfect survey. That speaks volume to me. I'm in healthcare and dietary will never please everyone. I know that no place will be perfect for my mom but this community felt the closest to home for us.

I have found the staff and personnel at Independent Village of East Lansing to be consummate professionals. They are caring, sufficient and dedicated to providing quality care to all of their residents. They are always friendly and willing to assist at anytime. I highly recommend Independent Village of East Lansing as a place to care for your loved ones. This is a "first class" organization and facility.

Mom lived at Rose Arbor for four years, and then moved to Wildflower Memory Care two years ago. We were very pleased at the level of supportive, loving care that mom received during her six years of residence. We also received excellent support, frequently having meetings, conference calls, and phone calls with different members of staff. Alzheimer's is a long, lonely journey, and it was wonderful to have the support of such a caring staff. Two staff members were with mom when she passed away in November - praying, playing beautiful music. Her passing was peaceful. We had many people stop by mom's room when we were cleaning it out, sharing their condolences with us. It is difficult to make the decision to move your parents into assisted/memory care. We were blessed with the choice we made at Rose Arbor/ Wildflower Lodge.

Overall, The Waterford has been a good experience. My loved one is still warming up to the community, but it seems to be going well so far. The staff is very helpful and accommodating, the community is clean, and the food is very good. My loved one always likes it and never has any complaints. Our only issue has been that they came an hour late to pick my loved one up from Dialysis. Otherwise, this community has generally been a very good place for my loved one.

I toured this place twice and I liked it a lot. But once I brought my sister there to take a tour, it appeared that there would not be future care available for her. She needed to be in a place that would be able to transfer her to memory care when the time came. The person that took us on the tour seemed easy to communicate with and knowledgeable about the facility and what they had to offer. The only reason we didn’t choose this was because they didn’t have the future care available.

My mother has been here for two months and I am very happy with my decision to move her. The people and programming are wonderful. Thank you!

Food is very good and people are very friendly. So far I like it and think it was a good choice.

The Wellington has a friendly and inviting atmosphere, their all-inclusive pricing model makes costs predictable. We have enjoyed the events, special programs and care options that they offer.

So far everything is working out pretty well for my mother with her move to this community. She has adjusted well to it, and I'am comfortable with her living here. The staff is kind, and have been helpful with whenever needed. When I come to visit the community,and her room are nice, and clean. They have nice activities if she ever wants to participate, and they provide good meals for the residents. I have not had any problems with this community, and I would recommend it.

My love one is doing well with her move to this community. She likes it here, and we do feel comfortable with her move to this community. She is safe, and in good hands. There was a moment where the staff was having problems with her eating, but after working with my father to come up with a better care place for her. Everything is working out well now. The staff is taking good care of her, this is a community I would recommend to my friends.

My Mother, [Removed], is 96 years old, very active and had been on the waiting list to get into Brookview Meadows for some time. Recently her Doctor said she could not be on her own. needing Assisted Living. Upon checking with Brookview Meadows, they thought they would be having an opening. Within a week we rechecked the facilities, made arrangements and got her moved in. She is very happy. Everyone at Brookview Meadows is very friendly, willing to help out. [Removed] couldn't be happier.

My mother in law loves it here in this retirement community. She is doing well, and we very pleased with everything they have done for us. We know she is safe, and in good hands. The staff is well, and have been helpful when needed. They do a good job with the cleanliness around the community. This is one of the nicest community's we looked at. She is happy since her move to this community, and we would recommend it.

My friend is doing super since his move to this community. I do feel he is in good hands, and in a safe facility. Everyone has been really kind, and helpful. The staff is good, and friendly at this community. Everything is working out very well for my friend with this community. This is a community I would recommend to family, and friends.

We love the friendly staff, great food, nice residents, beautiful spacious 2 bedroom unit with corner balcony. Mom feels very comfortable there and we couldn't have asked for a better place.

This was a great place for my loved one while she was there. The staff were amazing! However, we had to take her out of the facility due to the simple fact that this is more of an assisted living facility, rather than an independent living facility. If my loved one does require more help in the future, this facility will be our first choice!
