The Community is very nice and they keep it very neat and clean. They have lots of activities and the food is really good. the staff is friendly and I would recommend this community to others based on my experience.

The staff is very nice and the community is a nice place. There are some on-site medical services. Communication is good between the staff and our family. The rooms were smaller than other communities but it had a homey feel and was a quiet community. I would recommend this community to others based on my experience.

I have been to almost every senior citizen place around and The Waterford has beat every one of them. The studio apartments are very nice size. The activities are limited due to covid, but from what I have found people enjoy what they are offering. We had a Mother's Day Celebration the other day and they had a band come in to play music. There were people up dancing around and really enjoying themselves. Most of the time the food here is great. They went through a major water issue during the snow we had and they lost a lot of flooring, but the construction crews are in here getting things put back together. After that is all done it will be one of the best places around. For my money I am getting the most that I could get. I would highly recommend to others looking.

We've had several friends ask and have let them know about the care and room have been very good. The meals are not to our taste and this would be our only complaint. There are times where we aren't able to eat the food due to our other conditions. There are foods that are available at anytime, but you have to ask that in a timely manner. They have musical events, teas, games, and all sorts of different activities for the residents to participate in if they choose.

Overall we've had a pleasant experience. The head nurse is wonderful and does everything you ask her to do. They're pretty prompt with requests. The food is excellent, it's like a restaurant. I was a little frustrated as my loved one has declined that the cost of care went up, even though the care required seems to be less. But based on other places in town, the cost is reasonable. It's an older building, could be kept more clean, but they do change bed sheets 3 times a week.

I like the fact that people care. The staff is very helpful and more than generous with their time and concern.

You make it what you want it to be. If you like activities there are lots of them daily. If you want to just be on your own or to yourself you can. I enjoy walking outside daily. I enjoy the wind-down times we have. I told my son that you for bringing me here.

Our mother and aunt lived at The Wellington in Conroe for several years. During those years we went through many illnesses, hospital stays, recoveries, parties, crafts, holidays and many normal unevenful days. The staff always had "the ladies" up and dressed for the days activities. They were kept busy and were happy during their years there. The staff were always kind and professional, but more than anything, they became a huge part of our family. We love the size and intimacy of the facility. If you are looking for a warm and happy place for your loved one, this is the place!

OHGosh, cleanliness everywhere! The bathrooms are clean, they wash everything, everyday. Dining room is essential clean.

Beautiful facility with great staff members who are ready and willing to assist with care. I love the way the staff here makes the residents feel like they are family.

I have lived here for 1 year. Since the new management came on board, The Waterford has become a preferred property. The change starts at the top and is seen throughout the whole staff. Much more reactive, polite, friendly, timely, and very helpful. I know in time changes to the meal menu will continue to improve. Needs to be more diabetic and heart-friendly. Portions have greatly improved.

We moved into the independent living villas at the end of July. This is a rather new community, some homes have never had a resident. They are slowly and carefully allowing activities. We love it here. The staff is dedicated to keeping the residents happy. Every experience we've had has been positive.

In 2017, our Dad had an accident that meant that he could no longer live independently. Several years earlier we took him on a tour of the various retirement communities in Springfield, so we went into this crisis not entirely unprepared. Luckily, The Waterford (our preferred solution) had an apartment available. Since we both live far from Dad, while he was undergoing rehabilitation, The Waterford allowed us to stay in his new apartment while we got it ready for him, downsized his belongings, sold his house, etc. From personal experience, we can verify that the food, while not fancy, is good. Once we got him settled and returned to our homes, the staff at The Waterford did everything they could to make his transition to his new home as easy as possible. He likes the staff there and they do take care of the residents, having not hesitated to call 9-1-1 on a couple of occasions when he needed more help than they could provide. Highly recommended!

My dad has lived at The Waterford for seven years, and it has been a wonderful experience for him (and my brother and me)! Mom and Dad lived there for a couple of years before moving out of town to live in the same city where I am. After mom died, dad wanted to move back to Springfield and the only place he considered was The Waterford. The management, staff and services are first rate. Living there has clearly made his life enjoyable and comfortable. It's also given him something to live for!

Working with [name removed] is a joy in placing my Dad here at Elmcroft. Looking forward to her expertise and information. She has been a world of help and so pleasant to interact with :)

I moved my mom into The Waterford in May 2019. It was a scary process because she was in the beginning stages of dementia and I knew it would be very confusing for her. We were met by the sweetest, kindest soul when we entered the facility. She introduced herself as [name removed] and she loved on Mom immediately. Mom is not touchy-feely, but [name removed] has a special way with the residents that can only be described as a gift. [names removed] are shining stars and have a calling for caring for the elderly. I visited two other facilities before The Waterford. I was literally in tears because I felt like it was all just business. When I walked into The Waterford I knew Mom was ‘home.' It always smells good in there. They are constantly updating the facility. And [name removed] puts her heart and soul into their activities, special events and outings.

I am so thankful my parents ended up at The Jefferson and mom was able to stay there after we lost dad. She is comfortable, cared about and has opportunity to socialize. She is very happy there!
