A very good place, good employees, good food.

They have done a good job with Covid virus. It is a small community which I like. They have a geriatric doctor that comes to the community to see patients. It is not the fanciest place but it is clean and they do a good job. My mother loves the food. They have some outdoor space. It would be nice if they had more space for residents to be outside. Room sizes are good. The bathrooms could be updated.

We haven't found anything that is dirty or deteriorating. It might be beneficial if they had more activities and if they encouraged the residents more to participate in those activities. The care is good as well. The price is a little expensive, however it seems to be worth it given the level of care.

The staff are very friendly. There is an abundance of activities offered, when it's not during COVID. The food is reasonably good. The management are receptive to comments from residents. The communication has been good. They post a bulletin to the apartment doors with updates. If you are looking for a community that offers three meals a day , reasonably priced, and no lease, this would be the place to consider.

With the winter behind us we ventured out to Lake Zurich, Ill. This is where my dad, [name removed], lives in the memory care unit at Cedar Lake Assisted Living. I personally have not seen my dad for over 6 months. First, [name removed] and I got sick in Jan./Feb. so we did not want to get anyone sick by dad. Then covid19 came and we could not see him during the quarantine. We, being from Wisconsin, are out now because our Supreme court ruling shut down Governor Evers unconstitutional orders. So the 1st day that was nice after the lockdown, we got out. [name removed], [name removed], and I went down to IL. with some of my grandangels: [names removed]. [names removed] were with their dad so they couldn’t make it. [name removed] drove and [name removed] brought the dry eraser markers (they will wash right off in the rain) so we could write dad/ grandpa/great grandpa notes on his window. Just look at those pics of my dad! He looks so happy, content, in good spirits, I must say my dad is being taken care of so fabulously. He is alert and just so happy. Thank you all at Cedar Lake for taking such good care of him for us. Not only have you taken care of his physical needs but it is also so obvious that my dad’s whole being is under such responsible, caring people. I wish I could download a pic of my dad so you could enjoy it as much as we do. Last Monday was such a beautiful, sunny, spring day and to see my dad so healthy and happy really made for just an all-around super “we got out” day. This memory will be considered a very well needed moment.

North Pointe is a very warm and family oriented place. The staff makes you feel loved and your care is essential to the workers. Mom is in the memory care unit and its great.

Friendly staff, great resident care!

Very warm and hospitable staff the facility was nice and clean. I was very impressed with the level of knowledge and the compassion of the caregivers. This is certainly a place my sisters and I are considering for my mother for when the time comes.

I find staff to be very supportive and caring.

Creekside gives excellent care they help when it's needed and they are very friendly.

Benton House has been wonderful. My mother started out in the assisted living and now she spends the majority of he day in the memory care. They tailored a program just for her needs. We are so happy and really can't say enough about how wonderful and caring the staff are including their " can do" attitude. We visited six communities, and Benton House rose to the top quite early. The staff we encountered, their policies, the building being all on one level, and the location if how we made our choice. The meal plan is great. It offers a lot of variety and they really cater to the resident's requests.

A good place to call home! Pleasant surroundings, helpful people. Good food (most of the time).

I am now in a room that I can afford. I like everything except for the food. I am a prediabetic I would like to see more dark food like sweet potato.

The definition of summit is the highest peak on a beautiful mountain. Even though it is not on a mountain, Summit Place is exactly that. We visited Summit Place the day they were having an outdoor BBQ. We had a ball and so did the residents and their relatives. The Staff was attentive, friendly and knowledgeable . They constantly walked and talked with their guest...making sure all were having a good time and feeling well. The facility is beautiful. Clean, tastefully decorated, and accommodating to the physical needs of their residents. There are many positive aspects of this beautiful community...too many to list. But we are so pleased with the tour and the fellowship of the residents and staff (and the competency of the staff )that Summit Place is top of our list … we want to be a part of this well organized, patient/resident centered community.
