Love the staff here at Riverbend and residents! Very home like environment. It truly feels like a close-knit community not just a facility. The residents love all of the activities offered especially the crafts!

We moved our family member from a large, eye-appealing, highly-talked-up assisted living facility only to find that residents were forgotten, not known by staff and not well taken care of. We found Waterford at Hartford, a much smaller assisted living facility that doesn't have the eye appeal. We are so happy we made the move to Waterford at Hartford. What's important is the care the resident gets. Waterford at Hartford has a responsive management team and a staff that knows our family member by name, knows their health needs and most important, takes the time to care for our family member at the level of care she needs. The staff communicates with one another and that makes such a difference in the care rendered. Our family member's mental attitude has increased, giving her a reason to enjoy her daily life all because the staff cares and loves the residents. Again, we are so glad we found Waterford at Hartford. A small town assisted living facility giving loving care.

The food is good. They just remodeled the apartments. It's super nice. The value for the money is good. We picked this community, because it's close and convenient. They have handled my loved one well. My loved one likes the aides and the nurses. They provide three meals per day and clean the apartment every two weeks. I would recommend it to other families.

Caring environment. Friendly staff. Love the Magnolia Trails program. Residents appear happy. Have seen other memory care units that appear more like a nursing home. Riverbend has more of a cottage feel - warm and welcoming.

The staff is so amazing! I love them all! It is so clean and beautiful!!!! It is just such a wonderful atmosphere inside of Riverbend!!!!!! I have never seen so many happy people in an assisted living!!

My mom’s experience at the Waterford has been wonderful! The staff is very caring and helpful with her special needs. She loves the food (especially the desserts) and can be as active as she wants. She is very well cared for and I feel comfortable knowing she is there.

My brother toured the facility with our father and had nothing but praise for the personnel he interacted with. My experience communicating with management I found them very knowledgeable, professional, and helpful.

The staff is what makes the whole place. I did not have a negative interaction with one staff member here. You can tell that they all genuinely care about the people living there and about the other workers. They worked very very well together as a team. I would highly recommend Whitley Place and already have to others.

The food is great. The maintenance men do a lot for the residents. They take the residents to the grocery weekly. The receptionist is friendly. And they have lots of activities for the residents!!! Large rooms too!!!

We’re very happy with Independence Village. The staff is exceptional. They are very attentive, kind, and friendly. My dad is very pleased with the activities and loves participating. The fact that they plan outings is nice. The bus driver is extremely accommodating and friendly. The only issue is the food is not always the best, but it’s satisfactory.

I really liked The Waterford. It's a really nice place, and I was excited to see my friend move in there. It was a clean facility, and the staff was very friendly.

This has been a great experience for my loved one and family. The staff are very friendly. They are quick to respond to the family's questions, when we have questions. My loved one is very happy here. Everything has been exceptional. The only concern our loved one has is to make sure that the residents moving in are vetted better with prior communities they have lived at, or asking former residents and friends about the future resident moving in to this community.

This is a good place for your loved one to be. I wish the community would do more housekeeping to assist the resident with cleaning of their room. The community will provide laundry service and sometimes the sheets will come out spotty due to the use of bleach. There are three meals a day provided by the community.
