My father is at this facility and is going to be leaving due to the unsanitary conditions & other issues. For 2 weeks in December, the residents were confined to their rooms due to an outbreak of a virus and rampant diarrhea among the residents. The outbreak started in the nursing home section & spread to the ALF, concluding that the employees spread the virus by not cleaning their hands. Employees noted of having the same gloves on from one room to the next when they should be changed. My father was suppose to have a shower yesterday but the person did not show up to work. He is suppose to have 2 showers a week & had ZERO in the past 8 days. Genital area red & dandruff. Carpet is nasty in the room & smells. Toxic Glade plug-ins used in facility. Father incontinent & has been found laying in soaked clothes & bed for hours. Medication not given in timely manner. Father ended up in hospital due to [Removed] severe UTI with blood. Sad.

My experience with Elmcroft of Timberlin Parc was not a good one, I would not recommend it. I used them for some brief respite care for my loved one, and during that time she became severely dehydrated and fell getting out of bed. I found it particularly upsetting that when she fell they did not contact me, they just put her back in bed.

Nobody knows anything. No tour, no info. One of the employees said they don't do respite care for alzheimers

It's really no stars. I really didn't like the neighbor hood as I drove there. Man in a wheel chair out from incoherent but no one around. Desk setting large crowded area. My POC left months ago and admin didn't know who or name of the sales replacement person but knew she was gone for the day. I wouldn't recommend this agency. Not in ranking

First impression: Ex. Dir. was not prepared for me; couldn't answer basic cost questions, I had to ask for brochure as I was leaving, inflexible.

This place was very disappointing. The memory care section smelled horrible. I noticed an old man in his room on the floor trying to get up (with nothing on below the waist)and I mentioned it to Mary she acted like it was no big deal and did ask someone to help him as we continued on the tour as we came back around a few minuted later he was still on there. Staff didn't seem too caring, whole place turned me off.

There is an optimistic future for Elmcroft of Austin, a new director was hired last week and is rebuilding from the ground up. The facility itself is getting remodeled and upgraded due to the ice storm that we had. I would tell others do not move your loved one in for at least 6 months from now to allow new policies and personnel to be in place.

You need to contact me personally before you consider and/or commit to this location and company. Understand I am personally in business and know business. When this facility was locally owned by Broadview everything was good and straight forward. Elmcroft dba Eclipse bought out Broadview and this has been nothing more than a corporate take over looking for one thing and one thing only---INCREASE THE PROFITS and bottom line and do not care about your family number. Your family member becomes a number. Broadview assessed our Mother at their lowest level of needs. Soon after Elmcroft/Eclipse bought the company the level of care suddenly increased, our expenses are rapidly increasing but yet the level of care has not changed. In December 2019 We (our family) were given an ultimatum by the Director of the facility...her name is [name removed]...that we sign a new contract to upgrade our Mother to the next level or she and their legal team were working on a notice to move unless we signed the agreement. I am furious. Here we are at Christmas and Elmcroft's position is sign the new agreement, raise the revenue or move, NOW...[name removed] has since been fired, the staff is depleting and who knows what is yet to come other than us, as a family, standing up against this corporation and filing suit for breach of contract and fraud. Please contact me. I don't mind sharing our experiences.

Unfortunately, this is not a place I recommend. My mother has been placed in Memory Care and cannot get out. She desperately wants to live out her life amongst people - not locked up in a cell in memory care. Her family members have not been considered in the process. It is clear that it is about money at this facility not the well-being of the people who have to stay there. It is over priced and they don't take the residents out. My mother has been in there six months and has only been out two times. They didn't have a van for quite some time. Once in memory care your loved one will not be allowed to get out for fresh air and will be essentially locked up. Be wary of placing your loved one here. They will surely take your cash and not be able to live up to the promises they make regarding the health and well-being of their residents. Make sure you investigate their claims fully.

Horrible place. Please, if you care for your loved one, do not go here. The staff is rude, incompetent and uncaring. The directors only care about money. The meals are depressing.

Revolving door with employees. Not sure how old posts are but there are almost zero activities. Makes you wonder why no facebook posts for this particular elmcroft. No rules or regulations on shared rooms. Hoarders allowed forced on residents which can make rooms Unclean/unsanitary. Beer cans. Trash. Excessive furniture. no oversight by management to make sure this does not happen. If your family member or loved one lives here....SHAME ON YOU

The staff is unkind to residents who are not classified as "easy" or "simple". If any resident mKes their job "difficult" the staff become unruly - i.e. meals are not warm, paid diaper services are undone for days, paid room cleaning services undone for days. I am under no assumption that working at or running an assisted living facility is an easy task, but if family is trusting you (and paying you way too much good money) to help them assist their cherished parents/grandparents in living life, then I expect you you follow contracted services, to provide basic living standards, and to treat said loved ones with at least the mother basic dignity and human kindness. Finally, if you cannot manage to do your job to the standards you promised, at least be able to explain why when caregivers call to discuss issues, at least have the decency to be honest, straightforward, and professional. Answer our questions about medication, billing, scheduling... do not suggest grandchildren steal meds from the grandparents, do not complain to children about the resident's behavior, and do not smack on a sandwich when discussing these issues.

This place is not like it's pictures and description. Staff turnover on a weekly basis, horrible food, no activities. Your relative is left in their room to rot. The staff comes by three times a day to remind them of meals. There is no activity except Bingo. Resident turnover is very high. As soon as a family finds out this place is all lies, they quickly move them out. Do your research on this place!!!!! They should be ashamed of what they offer - nothing. Residents complain about horrible food and boredom 24/7, but they don't care as long as they're getting your paycheck.

Elmcroft can be a very nice place but once you get around you start noticing that things are good. First, ive seen [removed] who is the superior and manages the whole place always sitting in her office and dont doing a thing to help around. Also, many of the residents have gone to her and she would suggest on helping them but never do anything to help. And she also hires people who she calls as her favorites and let them get away with everything such as caregivers always sitting in the breakrooms, when they should be checking up on the residents. The residents rooms have been very dirty and the housekeeping has not been doing their job, instead their out doing whatever they want. Lastly, ive seen a couple of care givers and med techs screaming at the residents. i would never trust my parents at this place and i feel very bad for those who have put their loved ones or thinking of putting them in here. after walking around and witnessing the kind of workers who poeple put their trust on isnt acceptable.

AT first i believed this was a very good place but i realized that they're weren't many staff which made me wonder why? And the care givers are very careless and don't pay much attention and are always sitting in the break room. Also, the care givers in the memory building are always on their phone and seem very lazy. i've heard many complains to Gwen the head of the place and she never seems to do anything to change or make the place better. many of the residents pay thousands and they're no one is listening to what they say because to them the money seems to be more important than the residents. i hope things change and they get a new head leader because the way things are being run isn't good and i hate seeing the residents being screamed at because they need help or helping other residents.
