Mom liked it ver much. She did not like shared bath in Vitality suite. She liked the studio with its own bath. She has $2600 monthly but cost was $2940.

From the minute my mother walked into Copperfield Estate she felt welcomed by staff and her new neighbors which are many. She has enjoyed the dining room experience, the meals provided are tasty plus the fact that you have more than one choice to pick from for your meal.

They are absolutely wonderful to my mother in law and if she starts wandering off in the wrong direction they very kindly and nicely turn her around. They have told my son in law to not worry, she's here for the duration, you won't have to worry about finding another place. They're all the time going around and checking on things, the staff has been cooperating and they've handled everything that's come up. Theres no question about them that I'm not going to say excellent to. The care is really, really good and they were super good with my father in law too because he needed more care than she did with his strokes and having to transfer him out and transfer him back in and they have been very understanding and caring with everthing.

Compared to the rest of the world, the value is a 5! I'm not sure about the activities but I know they have an activities director and things available. All of the categories above are what I like about them. They seem to be very truthful about their commitments and what they are going to provide, unlike the last place my mother and Bill were. There is nothing I can think of at the moment that they could improve on.

So far, since we've been here, it's been the best! The staff are very friendly, they just turn over often. We haven't participated in the activites yet becasue we're still trying to get unpacked and get everything hung and downsize. They have all kind of games, ice cream socials, entertainment three times a month a pool table and quite a few other things going on. The food is fantastic! It really is.

We liked the idea of a companion room. They offer companion rooms at Elmcroft of Carrollwood, they are significantly larger then rooms we saw at other facilities. We saw about six facilities in the area and called several more. The tour guide at Elmcroft was empathetic and very helpful which we really appreciated. From the initial interview they made our loved one feel right at home. Affordability was another deciding factor, some places we saw charged $1000 more a month. Elmcroft also has Alzheimer's Care should that level of care be needed, it was important we found a place that offered Memory Care. (Cannot rate the activities just yet.)

The staff has been helpful and accommodating from the beginning. They helped get my parent settled every step of the way. Once they moved in, the other residents were friendly and welcoming which made them feel at home. I would recommend them to anyone looking for an independent living community. Madison Estates is a wonderful place!

Whiterock Court is a very good community and was in my top two communities. They were located very close to my home. The staff was friendly and the community was clean. They seem like a very open community. They are a multi-story community. Our loved one was the one that made the final decision and ended up choosing a different community but Whiterock Court would have also been a good choice.

Compared to other communities that we previously had experience with Whiterock Court is the best. It is a more expensive then the other communities but it is worth the money. She is much happier here. The staff is really friendly and the community is very clean. They do not have any dementia or Alzheimer’s residents the residents are very active. Because there is no one slouched around in a wheelchair and residents are moving around it keeps it from being a depressing environment. The residents actually dress up for dinner and the dining is setup like a 4 star restaurant. The food is always good and served at the right temperature. The chef they have always makes the meals from scratch.

The staff is on top of things and really tries to do what they can to make it better. They are very helpful and really patient with the residents. They take the time to try and learn the residents and figure them out as best as they can. They really are doing a great job. Overall we are happy with them and their care service efforts.

Beautiful community. Very safe feeling. Impeccably cared for. Even though we were looking for a place for my mom (and this was our choice), my husband asked (jokingly) when he could move in. We will consider it when the time comes for a retirement community for us!

We chose Elmcroft because there was no bad odors only pleasant smells. They had plenty of activities for our loved one to do. Mary Sullivan and Steve were both very sympathetic and empathetic they worked with us to get our loved one in the community. They stayed calm and were very helpful during the entire process. We are completely and totally pleased with Elmcroft and would absolutely recommend it to anyone.

I chose this community because it was really a nice place to be. I looked and called a lot of places and this was the one for me. We have small get together and parties on the weekends. I love to play poker so we get to play poker twice a week. I came to visit Arlington Plaza and while on my visit decided to just move in. The landscaping is really beautiful, there are plenty of trees and there is squirrels and birds moving around the community. The studio that I have has a nice window that allows me to get a beautiful view of the landscaping. They allowed me to keep my dog with me and that was a big factor in my decision. A few of us with dogs get together on the lawn and just let the dogs play while we talk. I would definitely recommend this community to anyone that is looking. I can't tell you how happy I am here. I was able to make the chose myself and I really feel like I made the right choice for me. The staff here, especially Carol and Patricia really make it feel like its my home and they are just here to help. They go above and beyond to really make you feel comfortable in this community. They have a small church on the property and they offer bible studies as well. They offer a time to exercise and help during it. They also offer transportation to and from different locations. I have not set up my internet because I have been staying so busy with my friends.

At Wm. Cannon & Manchaca. All private rooms, different levels of care and they have a memory unit. Would be good to go by here and check out the various levels of care. Looks like the memory care unit would be around 4k/mo. which is okay. I think I spoke to people at this centre but can't recall specifics. Don't know about outside areas that are controlled access, daily activiites, etc.

My husband and I toured 4 facilities and talked on the phone to several more. White Rock Court met all our requirements, We are very please with my mothers apartment and care. But it was the spirit of the staff that helped with our decision. My mother is unable to participate in most activities so they are of really little use to her. Our main objective is her well being and having her meals prepared for her. She is happy and the food is really good.

Not in Jud's price range but she gave me info on Howell house and cares fl Medicaid program.

Bright and friendly feeling. Rock fireplace. large open spaces. Director very personable and knows residents well. Observed activity on Memory Care Unit and residents were involved with 3 staff helping include them into the activity. Units fresh and clean with no odors. Ratio 1:10 Assisted Living and 1:7 Memory Care. 61 total residents, 16 memory care. Personal errands on request of resident; transport to appointments, from hospital. Have doctor contract for monthly care or will transport to clinic. Frequent outings personalized to individual interests. $3220 includes personal assistance. Med management additional.

I was very impressed. Art was an excellent rep for Paradise Springs, however discussed with my daughter, the price was too steep for me.
