We really like the independent living here! It's more of a retirement living setting, where the residents are lively! The environment is just different -- it doesn't feel as assisted! We also really like the grounds. It's nestled back, away from the street. Everyone has their own private balcony. It feels more like little individual homes. The activities and the liveliness are great! They have a dance floor, and let my loved one play his instrument. It's been great so far!

I moved my mom here after looking at several places. She went into assisted living, but we quickly discovered she needed more. All the staff from the director to all the other staff members went out of their way for my mother. They have striven to give her the very best care. Everyone who deals with her treats her lovingly and with respect. Words do not convey how grateful I am.

They had the most space for the money, and the kitchen is really fantastic. I like that there is a full size kitchen with a full size fridge. The only issue that we had is that we had worked out with the sales staff, a few things that needed to be fixed or repaired by move in day and it wasn't quite done. There was a mix up about her move in date as well, that was a little frustrating. The communication between the sales staff and the rest of the staff was lacking a little. The food is very good, she says too good. She just keeps saying that everyone is so nice, both the people that live there as well as the people that work there.

Copperfield Estates is a very nice independent living community. It's a well kept, clean looking place, and the staff are all very friendly. The only complaint I have is that I wish that the medication/appointment reminder service was a bit more persistent. My loved one can be difficult, and if he makes an excuse about why he can't do what they're reminding him to do at the time they just leave it at that.

I was struggling with a difficult decision with moving my mom to assisted living. I visited several places, but I loved Elmcroft from the first time I was there. My mother needs extra help and they are giving that to her. She loves being taken care of and I can feel comfortable knowing she is in good hands... The staff from the top to the bottom is great and never seem too bothered to help her out.. I appreciate them so much. It is a perfect fit for us.

The only complaint is the transportation service, doesn't accommodate a wheelchair, there is no lift. They have good food and lot's of activities. The people are friendly and it's very clean. A very good place.

The staff is wonderful. The food is wonderful. It is difficult for her to get involved with some of the activities, the community makes an effort to get her involved, the staff really tries. They have had a change of staff, upper management and everything since we have been there. Some of the other residents are nice and some are not as nice. One of the reasons we chose them is that she can have her dog.

This is a beautiful facility which provides 3 meals a day in a lovely dining room. There are numerous activities provided. The staff is friendly, caring and helpful.

My visit to this facility was wonderful also. The tour was great and so were employees i met during my tour. Of course my father will be making the decision of his choice.

It's been a good experience. It's not assisted at all. They started a price lock program so that her rent will never raise, as long as she is there. They have two pull cords in the apartments, one in the bathroom and one in the living area. They come and clean every week, they provide the linens and wash the linens. The housekeeping staff is nice, and when you move in they will come and help you hang your pictures. The on-site managers are so wonderful with the residents. They have the on-site beauty shop is lower price than regular. They have three meals a day. The food is quite good. They offer each resident a move in party with up to eight guests. I like that they have their biggest meal in the middle of the day. They do offer a lot of activities and busses that take them shopping. There have been a couple of days when the bus didn't run when it was supposed to. They have four or five things scheduled every day, a movie room and a chapel on site, a lending library. The decor is lovely, it's one of the prettiest place we looked at. They are very good, if I call with a concern, and answering my questions. They will provide a name of home health care agency to help out if you need it.

They have new management, and they have added some new charges. They came and fixed a water leak, and they patched it up, but never finished, maintance could use a little work. I think the food is really good. It's three meals a day and they can choose from some different options, and it is a nice dining area. We chose them because not only was the staff friendly but residents were all very nice as well. They would come and introduce themselves and offer to show him around if he chose to live there.

They do a great job here. The staff does a great job communicating with the residents and their families. If there are ever any issues they'll contact you immediately, and are always willing to help you resolve any issues you have in person. They also really went out of their way to make my loved ones transition to living here as easy as possible.

My MIL had been having short-term memory issues, and it was no longer safe for her to live alone. This was a huge decision, since she was an old-fashioned woman, going from her mother's house to her husband's, and had lived in the same house since the 70's. Polo Park was an answer to our prayers. Not only was it clean, friendly, social, and beautiful, the manager, Judy Pardo is a loving, supportive, patient person, who allayed my MIL's fears. Really, she is a saint. Kudos to Holiday for hiring such a top-notch employee. You can't pay someone to care...but Judy does. She puts her heart into the community, and breathes life into it. A wonderful woman.

My mother has lived at Elmcroft of Timberlin Parc over 4 years. What I love most about Elmcroft is the caring staff that work there. Whenever I drop by to visit I am always greeted with a smile and sometimes a hug from a staff member. They show love and respect to all of the residents that live there. And they go out of their way to make each resident feel special. If one of the residents has a "special dream" Rachel Waxer, the Healthy Lifestyle Director, will make it come true. She is always planning fun events and outings and is never without her camera! It is wonderful to know that my Mom calls Elmcroft her home now. And knowing that she is happy and well taken care of I have a peace and can sleep at night.

In the summer of 2010, our family faced a very difficult decision. Due to our father’s declining health, it was necessary to move him and our mother from their home of 50 years. A member of the family knew about Elmcroft Assisted Living in Timberlin Parc from previous research, so it was the first place we visited and ultimately the facility to which we moved our parents. Shortly after the move our father passed away, but he knew beforehand that our mother was in a safe place and would not be alone. The decision to move our parents to Elmcroft was based on several factors, most important of which was their safety. Knowing that care givers would be available 24 hours a day in the event of an emergency to assist them with their needs was a priority. Other factors included provisions for proper nutrition, administration of medication, cleanliness of the facility, care and friendliness of staff, and the ability to add various services when the need arose. We also liked the fact there were many planned activities for the residents, some of which take them off campus to shop and have lunch out. Elmcroft is a small facility and this was important to us as well. We moved our mother in the fall of 2012 to Heartland Village, Elmcroft’s Memory Center. She is cared for by loving and patient staff members and is safe, happy and content. The move was made easier knowing she would be treated with dignity and respect by Elmcroft staff. She gets daily hugs and confirmation of her specialness. Not only is our mother cared for, the staff is very supportive of the family members. They provide monthly opportunities to learn about dementia and the effects it has on our mother. There are also several family oriented parties a year that have something for all ages. It is a wonderful thing when young and old alike can come together and have food, fun, and fellowship. Every day we are grateful for Elmcroft, the wonderful staff and the loving care they provide for our mother.

Every time I visit Elmcroft I'm impressed. (I visited five different facilities.) The staff members are a lovely group of caring individuals and the facility is beautiful. But I was really impressed with the residents. They look happy, they are alert, they participate in activities, they are warm and friendly. After several visits to the facility at different times, I selected Elmcroft and moved my Mom to the assisted living side. She has Alzheimer's and doesn't handle change well so it was a difficult day. The staff bent over backwards to help my mom get inside and get acclimated. I received several calls the first few days from the staff with status updates and ensuring they understood her routine so they could make her comfortable. The other residents took my mom under their wings and made her feel welcome. I know I selected the right place for my mom's new home.

They have been there for two weeks, and I like the staff and the cleanness. They are just very friendly, very attentive. I like it a lot. I just went to a Christmas program that they had for them. They got them all dressed up and invited families to participate. They feel involved already, and I enjoy that they get to interact with other people and, use that brain!

I would say more than anything else, it is the staff that they have there, and their dedication to making a comfortable and safe environment. It is not like a brand new facility; I think that it is just a little outdated, but that doesn't detract from the overall experience. I was also looking for a group that would have the possibility of a memory care unit, and Elmcroft was one of the better places that I saw in terms of engagement with the staff.
