Sodalis Elder Living

My mom has lived here since April of 2025 and my family and I are very happy with her being here. The staff is always very helpful, friendly, and accommodating. The entire facility is always very clean and welcoming. The other residents I have spoken to are very happy living here and so is my mom.

My experience with the five months my mom's been there spectacular. I love her call her by her name every time everybody sees her gives me a piece of mind.. staff is excellent very friendly. I'll marry me exchange phone numbers for safety. Activities are great. They always doing something every day food my mom loves. She's gaining weight there. Very happy. She's eating more. Cleanliness it's very good. See somebody clean every day in her room no problem clean all the time I've been there. Overall, I'm at the best choice for my mom.

We love the people and staff at Sodalis. We are very happy with the care my stepdad is receiving, and he is happy there. They have a varied meal plan and the food is very tasty. There are lots of fun activities to participate in. The facility is clean.

The facility is beautiful , the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Activities are very inclusive at all levels . The changes being made to the facility and staff are being made with the residents happiness , comfort and care in mind. I can’t wait to see the ongoing growth of things to come.

Activities were rated 4 because sometimes classes not held when on the schedule. The social activities are rated 5 in general. Yes we would recommend this community to other families based on the experience

My aunt remains very happy and so am I they respond to her needs. The Executive goes above and beyond to make sure everyone is happy including me. I could not have picked a better place for my aunt to live.

My loved one is involved and engaging in activities, rather than sitting at home in his recliner playing solitaire. All the staff, I mean ALL the staff have been extremely kind and helpful as we make this transition. The facility is very clean and welcoming. This deserves 10 stars !!!

Our overall experience was exceptional. My sister was not happy about not being at home but she accepted being at Sodalis. She loved all the caregivers. She commented on how they were all happy people and always in a good mood. Entire staff was awesome, especially caregivers and the bus driver. Driver drove her to dialysis twice weekly. She was in good hands.

All rated 5. We moved mom when a water main flooded the facility. Since then, administrative staff has changed. We liked and appreciated John in his role previous to directorship, but can't speak for how things are going currently

I like the aides. All staff are very helpful and friendly and caring. The food is mostly good. Their organization needs help. They are going through transition. Biggest complaint is that they don't have someone at the desk on a consistent basis . So hard to get through. But they are very good about giving out personal phone #s. I like them a lot.

[name removed] is always welcoming, professional, and ready to help with a smile, making everyone who walks through the doors feel at home. [name removed] is compassionate, knowledgeable, and truly cares about residents and their families, making every interaction a positive experience. The care staff truly goes above and beyond every single day! Their compassion, patience, and dedication make such a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents and their families. From the smallest acts of kindness to the exceptional care they provide, they consistently show what it means to serve with heart.

Overall very positive experience. Some immediate things that stuck out, the directors, and offices are from what I could see, open door! As you come into the Facility both doors are open. I was greeted warmly and shown into the reception and office. I was introduced to [name removed], who was warm and friendly. As we sat there one or two residents stuck their head in just to greet him, this gave me a sense that the residents and staff engage in open and frequent exchanges. The facility is clean, and the board of activities was full, more than any other residences I had toured. The in-house PT component is another example of the attention to needs that I witnessed. The cost was very competitive with other facilities but I would say that their entry level exceeds affordability of all the other facilities I toured, while lacking nothing. In other words, they have not compromised value for services.

The working staff in the afternoons & evenings are very friendly & helpful. (I don't know the morning staff) About once a month there is a themed party in the dining room with music & a singer/guitarist during & after dinner. The food is always tasty. (I visit my Mom around 5pm every day). Overall I am extremely satisfied!

The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms and hallways were clean. So far this is at the top of our list.

What we like the most about the community is the overall cleanliness and their caring staff. They also have multiple settings for lunch and dinner. Yes, we would recommend this community to other families based on the experience so far.

We walked in the front door and were immediately greeted by a happy resident who shared how much he loved living at Sodalis. I really like the resident ambassador program. We met with [name removed]. She answered all of our questions and understood the concerns we have for our mom. Our tour went well and we were able to see a room. We walked around the hallways and common areas. I was happy to see residents interacting with each other in the common areas and walking in the halls together. The staff was friendly and dressed up for "spirit week".

The reason we chose Sodalis is because of the staff. Specifically, the hands-on approach that the director has at managing the facility along with the rest of the staff. The made us feel welcome, answered all our questions along with being informative about the facility, process and needs of my Mother.

Qualified, professional, kind, knowledgeable. I would recommend Sodalis Austin to to others.

My grandpappy lives here and he is just so thrilled with the activities and how great the food is, he thought he wasn’t going to like it but everytime I visit I can’t get him to leave!! This staff is just so wonderful and has made this experience so much smoother than we intended it to be. The residents are so kind and welcoming he’s even gotten himself a girlfriend! ???? This place is also kid friendly and when I bring my youngins in they have a blast!!???? Couldn’t have chosen a better place for my grandpappy so thank you Sodalis.????

I would really love for my dad to stay here. [name removed] is nice and understanding of this process. This was the best place I've seen.
