The rooms at the community would be a four out of five, however we would not recommend this community to others. In the beginning they were not truthful with what they had to offer. Once we signed the papers it was a completely whole new story.

There are some staff that are great and some that are not. I was really not comfortable with the head nurse and her abilities. The food was average they did offer a variety, The food service staff were nice and accommodating for the most part. I don't think is was worth its value.

Clean and nice, seemed dark. Not much activity going on but it was a Saturday. Out of our way.

We have good days and days not so good. If I don't want to come out of my room I can stay in. I enjoy the rides. Most aids are very good to me. Thank you.

I toured this facility while looking for a place for my Mother. I feel like this wasn’t as upscale as other places and it just wasn’t aesthetically. I found out there are two types of facilities when you look for assisted living. The type A assisted living is more for people who want to be independent and need help occasionally. Type B assisted living is for residents need more assistance. This is a type B community and I would recommend this place to people who need more help. The residents here are very friendly and they spoke highly of this facility. However, when I toured this community, they did have a waitlist.

I love living here. The staff is always friendly and good at their job. We enjoy living here. I do wish that they would remodel and bring everything up to date.

Small facility but seemed nice. Tour guide could not answer many of our questions.

My father is doing well since his move to this community. However I do have some concerns. The staff is good, but the head nurse could use some improvements. She needs to be more attentive towards the residents, and listen more to the concerns of their families. It is a community I would recommend overall.

I like [Removed] HID because she is outgoing, fair, she has been work with us for 1 ½ and treats us like family and Elmcroft is very clean. And I really like living here, I would recommend it to anyone.

The facility seemed clean and well maintained. The shortcomings are the size of the Memory Care area (too small), and the size of outdoor area (too small). Also, all they had left were shared suites, as they only have one private room which was occupied.

I picked this community because I was able to get both my grandparents in. The meals are ok. My grandmother is providing the care my grandfather needs. It has been okay for us.

I was not impressed with the interior courtyard as it did not seem to be well maintained. I was tripping over pots and there was dirt showing through the grass. I did not like the layouts of the apartments. The community did not seem to be good for wheelchair residents.

During my tour of this community I had noticed that there was not very much positive energy and it was a depressing atmosphere. It was very dark throughout the entire complex and was not very well decorated for the residents. I was not impressed with this facility and would not recommend it to anyone.

From the time I got to the community and pulled up I just knew that this was not the place for my loved one. It seemed dark and the residents were just sitting along the walls doing absolutely nothing. The place smelled like urine and it felt institutionalized. I would never go back here.

I did not like the way this community looked just from pulling up. The place immediately screamed institution. It looked like a warehouse. The place just did not seem homely at all and not somewhere I would send my loved one to. The staff was nice though.

My mother was only there a short time, and she went from semi-ambulatory to bed-ridden very quickly. She suffered some bruises from rough handling, but the most disturbing was bed sores. They have some great nurses on staff, but they are in short supply. Many of the care givers are young and thoughtless, or middle aged and resentful. I don't think anyone was deliberately mean, just not suited to be caring for geriatric patients who tend to be fragile and frail. If your loved one is ambulatory, they should be fine. If not, you best keep an eye on them.

The staff are very friendly. Not sure if short-handed, but sometimes it is hard to get attention. My room has flooded and still has an odor. The staff have worked very hard to make it bearable but I believe it's in the walls. My mother has said the dishes are dirty, I haven't seen it lately. Overall the staff is attentive and tries.

I have been living at Elmcroft for 3 years. I enjoy the activities, we go places and do things and Elmcroft Employees are nice to me. Sometimes there are conflicts with my fellow residents.
