Staff for the most part were all very caring. They were a little bit short on activities although they were improving about the time my loved one died.

They REALLY care about the residents. It's evident how much they care in how they interact with residents. How they speak to them. Hug them. Even paint their nails! It's the perfect caring place for those with advanced dementia. This is the 3rd facility my Mom has been in and the best by far. There are very loving staff and it is a great place for those with advanced dementia or Alzheimer's.

Orchard Park is a wonderful place for my father, primarily because of its kind and thoughtful staff, it's clean and attractive facilities, and it's convenient location. The food is well prepared and the food services personnel are willing to substitute offerings when necessary.

The staff was so helpful in getting things set up for my dad as he transitioned from rehab care and dealing with my cantankerous mother. I like how they have activities to keep them from just sitting in thir room.

So worth the 8 month wait for available unit. Staff is excellent (always kind and helpful). Wide range of activities, incuding exercise classes. Property is pretty, well maintained, clean and quiet. Bonus having Physical Therapy services on site.

They have been great to work with the staff has been amazing. There has been some turnover, but the director of the facility, [name removed] truly is great. She makes sure that the residents come first and are the true focus of the staff. The food is good, healthy, amd plentiful. We have been invited to attend special meals and events and everything was excellent. The activities staff is very active and engaged. They take trips, go shopping, go out to eat, and engage in lots of crafts and activities. I have even attended a band party held inside the memory care facility. My mom and the other residents had a great time. On top of all of this, it was the least expensive facility we looked at. We are very pleased.

The staff was very compassionate and that they were very accommodating.

I've only visited the facility half a dozen times the ratings are based on only those short visits. They get him up and dressed and to dialysis 3 times a week - care is great. The food, it doesn't look especially healthy for someone with dialysis. But then my brother loves his bacon and eggs, so what are you gonna do? As for activities, that's a hard one to answer, because my brother has severe gaps in his memory and loss of short-term memory, but in the moment he's brilliant. He and I were speaking in Russian on our last zoom and discussing politics. He should really be in a facility that has 24 seven nursing, but is not a severe memory care unit. But that's not the fault of the unit. The staff helps get him on a family zoom every week which is very important for him and for that I would give them a five. And I have seen them be very attentive with residence that have severe cognitive problems. As for the value, I don't have access to the financial information so I can't answer that. But in general, from what I've seen, I would recommend it for somebody that has a friend or relative that has severe memory problems and needs 24 hour care

It was a vibrant and social community. A wide range of activities are provided. Some improvements that need to be done are new carpeting put in all found levels of apartments. New chairs are needed in the pud and dining room or at least recovered seats. There should be alternative dinners besides the two regular entrees served. Beautiful pond with flowers fountain.

All of the staff are friendly. One of the waist staff goes out of the way to help people, just today a person noticed that I acted like I was having trouble breathing and came over and asked if I was ok. Has helped me before.

The majority of people who stay here are lovely. If you have ever eaten with 3 people at a table when one new person asks, they are always welcome!! We play bingo on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday which is fun, for one hour and small, useful prizes.

My mom has been a resident for 3+ years and we are so impressed with the care she received! The community has become family and we are so grateful.

My husband has been a resident for 9 months. The staff is caring and knowledgeable. I am so thankful that they had room for her.

The staff came in to introduce themselves to my Dad and all of us...nurses, CNAs, maintenance, activities, dietary, housekeeping... everyone! All of them were kind and welcoming. The staff responds to requests quickly. The meal selections are gourmet! They have a wonderful activity staff with a nice variety offered.

My husband is currently a resident at Oak Hill Terrace and most everything has been great for him at this facility. His quality of life has greatly improved since he moved here. I would definitely recommend this facility to others.

The staff are all wonderful and caring. Their philosophy is that 'you don't live in our facility, but rather, we work in your home!' They provide whatever level of care that you need and will increase it as your needs change. They call this 'Age in place.' The hope is that she will be able to call this home for the rest of her life. They will arrange outside services if needed. Move-in was as easy as it could be. They provided carts to assist with carrying things in and hung the tv and pictures on the wall for us. The laundry is done every week and hung up nicely in the closet. The food is varied, and our loved one says it is really good. The housekeeping people clean once a week and do a very nice job. But most of all, our loved one is happy! Never thought that would happen! You can sign up to receive emails telling what activities they are attending. They are completely remodeling with all new flooring, paint, furniture, etc. It looked good before, but will be even better when finished.
