We awoke one day to realize life has changed and trying to maintain our home was to much. We visited THE PALMS OF ST. LUCIE WEST AND felt instant comfort. THE STAFF ARE SINCERELY CARING. They do all they can to help you if you need it. We went into the independent living and extremly happy. SO GLAD WE MADE THE DECISION TO COME TO THE PALMS.

Fantastic place to be. Enjoy all that is available. Would not be at any other place. Love meeting my new friends !! Love the are and the grounds coming from North Carolina. Also have lived in Florida before North Carolina for 25 years

We give The Reserve at Greenbrier all 5's they have been great for our loved one. Everything about the community has been great, especially the staff members, the facility itself and all the amenities they offer.

I have lived at The Forum at Brookside nearly five years and am pleased to offer this facility a rating of A+. The accommodations here are pleasant and well maintained by the experienced and conscientious staff. Eating in our dining room is a pleasure not only because of the excellent food choices but also because of the jovial atmosphere and conversations among fellow residents. We have fun and enjoy one another’s company. Our activity directors and professional staff are very friendly and provide many opportunities for exercise, entertainment and socializing. I am pleased that everyone’s unique temperament and interests are respected which allows each of us to be as sociable or private as she or he wishes. One activity I especially enjoy is taking frequent walks around our well-maintained 40 acre campus. It is a rare treat to be able to live on such a beautiful plot of land with a brook flowing through the property - all within the city.

The Gardens community is amazing!!! I don't have enough words to describe how great everyone is. The staff is so friendly and helpful. Our dad felt at home even before he moved in. We feel so lucky to have found them.

My mother-in-law has lived at the Gardens of Port st Luvie since July 2021. I have nothing but good things to say about the staff and how well they take care of her. She is very happy there.

All would be rated 5. This place has. really improved in the year I have been here. I highly recommend it. We have a new food and beverage manager. His goal is to make the dining room 5 star. It is happening. They have studios. 1 bedrooms and two different size 2 bedrooms. They all have kitchens, washer dryers, balconies or patios, etc. Maid service once a week Included. You get 2 meals daily and brunch on Sunday. They provide transportation if needed. Pool, shuffleboard, activities director, etc.

The Lodge is a super place to live. Newly updated, it’s cozy, comfy in appearance …very welcoming. The staff is helpful, efficient, friendly, and caring. The apartments are good sized and nicely decorated, many with balconies or patios. Morning transportation to appointments is available. Many varied activities are offered. Unnecessary to move when additional assistance is needed. All in all am pleased with my choice!

I am confident we chose the best place for Mom when we picked Brookdale. The cleanliness of the facility is excellent. Mom is not always 100% satisfied with how her room is cleaned, but she's always been a meticulous housekeeper, and her expectations are very high in that regard. I see no problems. One thing that's indisputable is the friendliness of the staff. It was the first thing I noticed during my initial tour, and my subsequent experience proves it was not just for show. Everyone is kind, welcoming, courteous, friendly AND professional. They treat Mom like a member of the family. Exceptional! I am very happy with the quality of care; not just the care that Mom gets directly, but the fact that I am always kept abreast of any new developments. The nursing staff has never failed to answer my questions and address my concerns with saintly patience. The attention to Mom's physical, mental, and emotional needs is outstanding. The food is excellent in quality, preparation, and variety. The staff has been kind enough to let me join Mom for meals on occasion, so I can vouch for this first hand. Portions are generous; Mom said she almost always has something left over because she was too full to eat it. I gave a 3 for activities because there is not a lot of variety from day to day. This may be because their activities director quit abruptly and has not been replaced yet. I hope they will do crafts and at least bi-weekly outings when they find a new one. I consider our value for money a 5 because we were lucky enough to get a permanent discount for moving Mom in during the winter. At normal price, I'd be tempted to give a 4 until the activities improve, and then a 4+. The base price is higher than the Ohio average, and extra fees can really add up. Please note, though, I am not dissatisfied, nor do I have any complaints. The most important thing is that Mom says it's a great place to live. She misses her friends and her old life, but aside from that she is content and happy with Brookdale and all it has to offer.

My mom is 93 and worked until she was 91. Candidly, she never wanted to live in a group setting, but a year ago she broke her hip and had to move to independent care in NJ. Since her four kids were now spread from NH to NC, I was the closest one, 2 hours away, in DE. Forwood came to mind because we are friends w [name removed]. [name removed] and the whole Forwood experience have been great. Moving here from NJ made sense: 1) it’s over $2k cheaper per month; 2) she’s closer to family (10 min); 3) space is close to double what she had; and 4) intellectually, it’s a great fit because she’s still reading novels, so the fact that 70% of the residents are in independent living means she has a lot of people there whose minds are still fully engaged. [name removed] has been great throughout the process. Listened and responded well to her needs and has been helping her transition and build a new network. She’s very happy there, which gives us peace of mind, and she’s just 10 min away.

What I like most here at Oak Hill Terrace is that everyone is here for each other.

Such an easy stress-free process! Everything was thoroughly explained to us. My mom has been loving it there. They have everything you could need and lots of activities! Very friendly staff, make you feel at ease during the entire process

[name removed] are wonderful leaders! Everyone is kind, caring, friendly and there to help. My mother recently went through a health crisis and [name removed] helped my family navigate getting my mother into their assisted living program. It was painless! The last thing you want to worry about is the details when you are struggling with a loved one’s health. [name removed] took care of the details of mom’s new living situation while my family took care of mom. I cannot say enough about this wonderful facility!!! I love Forwood Manor! Thank you, everyone, for all that you do!!!!

I’ve been able to former activities going and have been very pleased with the results. The relationship between the residents and staff is warm and friendly. The food is so good that I’m having to watch my weight! One this that is the best about the Forum is the staff, they have our needs at heart.

The nursing staff and caregiving staff are amazing. We’ve all gone through an adjustment phase for the last two months and I feel that all has gone better than expected. Thank goodness, I called A Place For Mom, which guided me in the right direction very quickly and determining some options for them to go together and live out the last years of their life.

The staff ManorPointe Independent Living in Oak Creek is outstanding. And, because I am regularly at Meadowmere Assisted Living, I can say the same about the staff there. What a blessing the staff is to residents on campus. A most dedicated and caring team.

My mother is very comfortable at Coral Oaks. Her room is lovely and a perfect size for her. Any assistance she needs is readily available through the maintenance staff. She gets wonderful meals daily and the food is quite good compared to other facilities I'm familiar with. There are numerous activities for the residents to participate in as well as opportunities for socialization. Overall, her experience there has been excellent and I am very grateful to have found Coral Oaks for my mom. I appreciate the efforts of A Place For Mom in helping me to find this excellent location for her.

When we started looking to move my in-laws to Louisville, this was the closest community and the parents of a friend of mine who lived here, where very happy so, we thought we'd check it out. So glad we did because immediately walking in, it felt very homey and beautiful! Everyone we spoke to was very warm and friendly, something really important to us. My father-in-law has been living there now for a few weeks and we couldn't be happier! With my mother-in-law's passing right before moving in, the staff has been so helpful with helping him through this tough time. They truly take the time to personally get to know the people living there as well as the families. There are a lot of fun activities available throughout the week, I love the 50's hangout room with pool table, the movie theatre room with reclining chairs and chair volleyball. And the food is delicious, we've eaten there several times! I would highly recommend Magnolia Springs East Louisville!

Toured this stunning community and I now know where my grandma will call home when it’s time for carefree retirement living! Gorgeous views, knowledgeable and pleasant staff. Look no further for the elderly you love and care about!
