My 88 year old father decided the time was right for independent living. We visited a number of places and fountainview was the clear winner. Marina, the sales director, was a pleasure to work with and took the time to work with us to make sure this was the right place for dad. The staff is warm and caring and it reminds me of a five star resort rather than a retirement community. Activities are varied and so far, for the most part, dad seems to like the food. The studio apartment meets my dad’s needs and is affordable especially when you consider what is included.

Five Star recently completed a renovation, so everything looks bright and fresh inside and out. Maintenance was very responsive and helpful with move in needs. Professional and experienced management is reflected throughout. Lots of options offered for workout and game activities. Entertainment is well communicated and enjoyable. Staff seem competent and happy in their jobs. Five Star has an assisted-living and a memory care unit so if you want to start with independent, you have options to move around. It is a really good value for the cost. The one bedroom apartment has plenty of space basic but nice kitchen equipment. My mother has had a very positive experience there. The food is really good! There are a variety of options, healthy, and decadent. They offer special meals for holidays. This is a really great place.

The Mill Creek community of management, caregivers and support staff provide a safe, caring and compassionate environment for our mother. They hold high standards when it comes to managing the needs of the residents through staff-resident interactions, cleanliness of the sleeping and common areas and various opportunities throughout the day for stimulating activities. The staff constantly monitors where the residents are; making sure they are in a positive situation as possible. As they walk throughout the facility, they always make it a point to converse with the residents. When a situation arises that needs our attention, we immediately receive a phone call. They are family.

I suggest that others book tours at The Forum and at least two other facilities - and compare. It will be obvious to them as it was to me that the quality of offerings and care are excellent - and that there is a real sense of community here at The Forum, an important component for a new resident.

We chose Stratford Court of Palm Harbor because the facility was very clean and smaller than some we saw. Very calm. Not hectic and "busy" or noisy like some we saw They were very attentive and helpful with my MIL's medical issues. They tried to engage her in activities

I was very concerned about my 93 year old mom going into a nursing home, but she needed it for the past 5 years and refused to talk about it. She fell and dislocated her shoulder and broke a few ribs and was in rehab during COVID pandemic. I ended up getting COVID-19 and was supposed to pass away, but after 6 days on ventilator, survived with long COVID. My sister in law had to step in as co-legal medical decision maker. I have a care giver of my own now and can't take care of mom. Luckily, we found Somerfor Place and House. She went into Place and I never had to worry about her falling down the stairs, alone, in her house. I can't say enough good things about the staff and building. It was like being in someone's home. Carpets and drywall, no cinder blocks or linoleum. What a gorgeous place to live. And now that her dementia has progressed, they transitioned her to House with limar staff and patients. This place is awesome. I would go there.

Thank you, Barrington Terrace, for all the love and care you gave my mom for six years. She loved every minute living there. Your entire staff is so skilled and so full of love. Your care for her was personal and precious. She enjoyed all the activities, the amazing meals, the community of friends, but most of all your love. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. I remember how worried I was when we moved her in, but her best years were with you. You became her family and mine. We love you and thank you.

Friendly staff, beautiful, peaceful surroundings and great food. My Mom feels at home here and it is a pleasure to visit. We are very happy and I feel confident that my Mom is being well taken care of.

It's a 5 for everything. We really like Bedford Estates! My Mom moved in [date removed] and she's still there. Amazing Food & Caring Staff! My Mom LOVES it there, and it's 100% better than her last place which was dreadful! Bedford Estates is absolutely AMAZING. My 91 year old Mother has been in Independent Senior Living for the last 20 years. When she had to make the move to Assisted Living last year, we didn't know where to start. The first facility was short staffed and had problems upon problems with missed medications, missed meals and falls with no caregivers to help. My Mom finally left that facility on a stretcher 2 days before Christmas due to a bully Caregiver who pushed her. Yes, you read that right! We were frantic for a new Assisted Living facility and so grateful for [name removed]at A Place for Mom who helped during the Christmas holiday. She found Bedford Estates and my Mom completed the assessment and moved in a couple days after Christmas directly from the hospital. She didn't have any of her furniture when she first arrived, but Bedford Estates provided a fully furnished room until her furniture could be moved. Everything at Bedford Estates is EXCELLENT! They have a nice large dining room with a wide selection of menu items. My Mom used to constantly complain about the food at the old place but at Bedford Estates she raves about the food. And it's the little things that mean a lot to my Mom. At Bedford Estates, they have a nice table setting with fine linen and silverware at every seat. At the old place, they had plastic utensils which the residents had to track down! I am forever grateful to the fine folks at Bedford Estates for welcoming my Mom and providing such a comforting, safe environment. Highly recommend, and take it from me, I have seen the bad facilities. You won't go wrong at Bedford Estates!

Feels almost like family. Everyone seems to want to do their best. Easy to feel like home. Good for any age, single or couple. Lots of fun! I do think they need to clean/disinfect the elevators every day. I can only speak about the one bedroom apartment. 2 nice size rooms and small kitchen. If you're not cooking all your meals in your apartment and spend some time out of it each day the space is fine. And very easy to maintain. Having someone to come in and clean and wash your sheets and towels is so helpful and done well.

I am in the Personal Care area and have a great experience. The food is so good with lots of variety. But the best is the staff- from nurses, support staff, dietary and even maintenance. Everyone is very friendly and attentive- truly have been at The Forum so long that they are like family. I heartily recommend!!!

Since moving here from other assisted living, Dad has been welcomed, treated with kindness and respect, and cared for so very well. All staff are consistently working hard to care for all the residents and make this home in all the ways.

I have lived here for 9 years. The atmosphere is if friendship, learning, experiencing, listening and activity. The food is delicious, the number of activities and excursions is exceptional. If a resident has an idea of something new to do, the staff makes it happen. Spacious rooms and lovely setting.

The people here at Oak Hill Terrace are so friendly. One of my favorite things here are the people. The residents are so friendly plus the staff are very nice and caring. I really enjoy doing the activities here especially exercise every morning. I really like [name removed].

Had a great tour, very nice & knowledgeable salesperson. Asked great questions about mom which we appreciated. Place was bright, clean, smelled good, residents were happy & engaged. We were introduced to both residents & staff all seemed nice. We will be bringing mom soon.

The sales staff is excellent on anticipating the needs of a new resident. They assisted with everything from what a family member should order for their loved one and all the amenities that Barrington Terrace has to offer. I would definitely recommend this facility to others.

I have been a resident at the Gardens for nearly 4 years. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Staff is friendly, atmosphere is warm & inviting. There are lots of fun activities to choose from. Housekeeping & laundry done for me. It's like being at a resort or on a cruise ship. It's a great place to live.

The staff is amazing! Very professional and compassionate. The staff interaction with the residents creates a family atmosphere. Every name is known and every personality is accepted. The residents are treated with the dignity and respect one would want for loved ones during what can become a very trying disease. It would be nice to upgrade the facility a bit more as far as furnishings in the dining area. It's difficult to do because of the wear and tear with wheelchairs and such. We've noticed it has been difficult retaining cleaning and housekeeping staff...a common problem. However, someone is always willing to pitch in to pick up the slack. We will forever be grateful to A Place for Mom for the recommendation of Mulberry Garden MC.

It was a really good choice for them at the time. However, dad is now in long-term care and mom recently passed. I would recommend to others.

Mom has been here for 4 years. This has been the best and safest place. She has friends, gets to do fun activities, and gets all the help she needs.
