The facility is beautiful along with the staff. I was met with smiling faces and nothing but helpfulness from each and every member. They were encouraging, thoughtful and extremely supportive with some of my concerns. I would recommend anyone to Somerford House & Place Newark ten times over.

Two years ago came in to meet with [name removed]. Was warmly welcomed by everyone I met. Was pleased to know they have delivery to my villa for lunch and dinner. Each and everyone has had a smile and do what they can to keep you happy and comfortable and updated on events happening in my community. Since I have lived here have made great friends. We help each other!!

Very happy with the care of Mt Arlington. Very clean, people are all very friendly, food is good, and my loved one is happy. I would highly recommend this community to anyone looking for care. It is in a great location and they really make you feel like home. The rooms are nicely sized and for the price you can not go wrong.

[name removed] has been amazing dealing with my in-laws. She also worked with me with my father when he first went to the Horizon Club and did a fantastic job with all aspects of his care and well-being! She is definitely on top of her game - caring, compassionate and thorough!

Horizon club is the one of the best retirement place in Florida. Everyone there is very friendly, helpful,and welcoming. I really recommend this place to everyone who wants to find a good place (home) for their loved ones.

My loved one was briefly a resident at Walnut Creek Alzheimer's Special Care Center and the whole experience was great. The staff and the facility were wonderful. Based on our experience, I would recommend Walnut Creek to others.

The Palms is warm and friendly, caring and efficient. The staff is excellent and very helpful. Well trained in my opinion. Very full activities. Love the music and dancing the best. Great entertainers come.

This is by far the best facility for independent, assisted living! Cannot say enough about the excellent care and respect given to the residents there. The food choices and dining staff are both well above restaurant quality. The activities director works with the patients to provide many options for entertainment. The staff in general take an interest in each resident and get to know them personally. The front desk staff are very capable and ready to help when needed. This is a beautifully decorated building and the apartments were the best of all the places we visited. This was the most economical facility we visited as well.

They keep you updated on how your loved one is doing and what they need. Love the website. Seeing all the activities they do with the residence. All the staff are very respectful of the needs of the residences. Staff always greets you with a smile.

Everyone is very friendly, food is good and clubs are enjoyable. The friendliness of staff and residents. We were given a complimentary meal, twice, and the chef even came out and said hello. We were very impressed.

We have been very pleased so far with Poway Gardens and the care that they are providing for my mother. All of the facilities I looked at prior to her going there were expensive, as is Poway Gardens, but Poway Gardens was more reasonable than all of the others. The staff is very friendly and competent. They are hard workers and are experienced and knowledgeable working with this often challenging population. Many have been there for a long time. Communication with them is excellent. Administrative staff is easy to contact and responsive to questions and needs. Moving in initially was smooth. You have the availability to connect with a healthcare agency that can provide regular visits to the facility so you don't have to take your family member out to the doctor. The facility itself is clean and organized. It has the feel of a house instead of a hospital/institution. The kitchen area and main room are filled with light and comfortable. It is regularly cleaned. There are a relatively small number of patients to each house. One aspect that has been especially helpful for my mom is the fairly strict schedule of time to wake up, meals, and bedtime. It has given her a rhythm and consistency, which helps with orientation and she knows what to expect each day. The meals don't have a wide variety of dishes, but they are all well balanced, fresh, and healthy. Usually a meat, vegetable, carb, and dessert. Some of the vegetables are grown on site in their own garden. Overall, I would definitely recommend this facility. They have taken very good care of my mother.

The facility is so clean and staff is very attentive! Lexington Manor is easy to find and conveniently located. I will definitely be referring family, friends, and patients to this Assisted Living Facility.

I am very happy that I chose this Memory Care Facility for my beloved. She is well taken care off and I don't have to worry about her at all. Since the new Memory Care Director 12 months ago I feel the daily life of the residents has improved tremendously. Residents get to go on outings and the Memory Care Director always sends beautiful photos of Ingrid to me if I am not able to attend. One can tell easily how much she is enjoying herself. I am so pleased with all the other activities they dream up, for example: a Japanese Cherry Blossom festival where residents got to dress up in Kimonos. A gardening afternoon will delight everyone this month. I'd also like to mention that I visit my friend on different days and times. I have no complaints about "day to day" life. I always find a loving environment and should I have concerns about anything, they are addressed immediately. Many thanks to the amazing staff and management!

Facility is clean. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Leisure Park is definitely the nicest and cleanest facility I’ve seen. I’m happy I chose this place for my mom. The tour I took prior to making my decision was very helpful.

This facility is a great place to have a loved one live. They have regular activities and the residents are friendly. The food served is good and they pay attention to dining. The staff are friendly.

We appreciated the thoughtful approach from initial orientation through move in and assimilation. The Arboretum team explained their cost structure thoroughly. They showed us examples of various room types as well as the range of activities. Our resident relative is thrilled with the menu options and we can see the improvement in his appetite. We’re completely satisfied.

Transition was made easy by staff. My loved one is happy with meals and staff. He qualified for Hospice Care so they have taken over with bathing which was the only thing I had a complaint about. Staffing meets S.C. requirements but if there are other more pressing issues going on than bathing took a back seat. With Hospice in place this is no longer an issue.

I recommend Downriver Estates. They have a caring and competent staff that is always friendly and helpful. They take great care of my parents and I feel very comfortable with ‘em being taken care of there.

My recommendation for this facility is to have the families be very proactive. I see my mother almost daily so I am very much aware of what is going on. The staff appreciates proactive families. They are not trying to hide anything they are just trying to make sure each resident has what they need. I have called the desk because my mother was having cell phone issues and the security guard went to her apartment to help her. The cleaning staff do the minimum, so I usually do a thorough clean monthly.

Very caring staff. The facility director and medical director are especially awesome as is the head Chef. The staff make a great effort to address individual residents needs and create a family-like environment. The food is MUCH better than the last place my loved one was living. Great daily activities and special events - like singing and/or dancing performances in the lobby or dining room, holiday lunches that include family members, celebrations of residents' birthdays. Only one negative comment - once the receptionist leaves for the day around 6 PM, it is often difficult for visitors to get in or out of the building as there is no one upfront to buzz them in (or out). Perhaps the facility is sometimes a little short-handed on staff. Overall, really like the facility.
