We are pleased how she has adapted in the community. It is a clean, friendly and engaged community.

It is an absolute surprise, I love it there. The team is great and attentive, the food is excellent. What I like the most is the visible connection of the team. Each person makes visual contact. The food is great. The entire experience is like one is going on vacation and feel like you will be walking into the back where there will be a swimming pool with a bar in the pool. Everyone is so nice here. There are somethings that aren’t perfect but I couldn’t see me living anywhere else. The grounds here are beautiful and very well kept up. If something breaks in your apartment it gets fixed in a timely manner. The residents are for the most part are easygoing and super friendly. I’m happy to call this place home.

We gave the meals and dining a 3 based on my moms opinion. Great communication with leadership and caretakers. Also, the personalized care they provide for me ain't is amazing! She really likes to have responsibilities and a job to do, so they really lean into that and give her tasks to do to make her feel appreciated and important.

Our experience was awesome, the staff went above and beyond helping out when my dad entered into hospice care. He passed away last [date removed] and was able to stay right in his apartment until his final breath. His comment to me was "this is the best place you could have found for me, I only wish we would have done it sooner. My dad felt like part of a big family! There is a lot of fun planned however my dad didn't really participate much. I definitely would recommend Duluth Heights Lodge, our experience was very positive. We even got my uncle (my dad's brother) to move in before my dad passed. They were able to spend some wonderful time together and share memories and experiences together. Thank you so much for helping us find this place and being there for us!!

The admin staff are good to me and take great care of me. Food is okay and I like activities they have in the community.

I love having lunch with my table friends. I enjoy the entertainment and musicians that the life enrichment team brings in. I really enjoy painting and have fun doing it with my friends here at Oak Hill. Everyone is so friendly here.

Researched high and low for a place for my mom with dementia and this place does not allow them to be by themselves and their rooms laying in their beds. They force them to go out with the group and do activities throughout the day that stimulate their mind and keep them comfortable, but at the same time they keep it consistent day-to-day so that nobody gets confused or upset. I wish I would have found this place years before I did, they are truly the best and trained to keep your loved one happy and comfortable. When my mom passed, they even came to her funeral.

I had the pleasure of taking two tours of LeisurePark with [name removed]. The first was by myself the second with my husband. Honestly, I knew during the first tour that this was the perfect fit for our elderly neighbor who is in need of assisted living. It checked all the boxes and my husband absolutely agreed. Leisure Park has a warm and inviting atmosphere. We spoke with many of the residents and each seemed extremely happy with all that Leisure Park has to offer. Add to the fact that all the staff members greeted us warmly and they truly seem to enjoy their jobs. It was dinner time and the dining room smelled amazing. We had the pleasure of meeting [name removed], who I believe is the head of dining and she assured us that our neighbor’’s dietary requirements would be happily met. She even sent us both home with two containers of chicken soup to go. I am not exaggerating when I say it is the best chicken soup I’ve had in a long time. Thanks to [name removed] who went above and beyond for us!

The Fountainview community has a nice pool and adequate walking areas. It is also close to downtown and I would recommend this community to other families.

[name removed] was absolutely fantastic. Everyone was so polite. It was very nice. Clean, friendly, great location beautiful exterior as well and grounds. Very nice. Highly recommend it. As well as the location being wonderful I was super impressed

We’ve had nothing but a great experience with Calusa Harbour. [name removed] was fantastic to work with. She knew residents by name and they her! During our tour, many residents chatted and joked with [name removed]. It was apparent their relationship was genuine! Many of the residents we met during and after our tour, told us they loved living there. We moved our mom in shortly there after and they have been super ever since! We would highly recommend CH!

I find if you are kind, others are kind in return. Staff and administrators are great! They always try to provide food that the residents will eat, i.e., my husband will only eat pizza and hamburgers. They make sure he has these items as often as possible. I would also like to add the layout of the facility is very conducive to persons with dementia and related diseases. It is one level, rectangular shaped and one can walk for hours without realizing he or she is confined. It also has a great outdoor courtyard.

Our loved one has since passed away but Lewis Parker was amazing. I would rate them high in every area

[name removed] is very caring and a WEALTH of knowledge! We visited Barrington because my mom had a friend who moved there and was happy and well cared for, While we never ended up placing mom in Barrington (because of reasons not their fault) [name removed]continued to help us navigate rough times, just because she cares. The facility was always clean, buzzing activity, and very focused on the residents needs. Definitely recommend.

It started out really rocky. The previous Director was fired, community services director quit and they were short a nurse and a cook. [name removed] called to tell us and to schedule a meeting with the interim director. We did...felt like they had a good plan in place and moved in....so glad we did. They now are fully staffed with great people. There are a couple that aren't but that's pretty normal. The residents and their families are a tight knit community and I'm so thankful each day that my Mom always has a support network and has as much or as little help as she needs from day to day.

We moved my aunt from another facility due to insufficient care. A Place for Mom helped us find Oakridge and we couldn’t be happier!! The staff is so supportive and caring. [name removed] has been a blessing to us! I recommend Oakridge to everyone who is not happy with the care their loved ones are receiving. Choose Oakridge first and you will be so happy!!

The facility is very homey,we have a family members mother here. Since the last year and a half I have noticed improvements here, it says alot about the staff. I also noticed that they keep the residents busy with activities during the day I believe that is a good thing.

I love to see the staff and residents interacting when I visit. Residents look happy and always doing something fun. Thank you all for all that you do, I know it's not always easy in a memory care setting

They take their time to listen and talk and get to know residents, many activities and outings, clean no matter what time you visit The apartments are very roomy and have plenty of storage.
