The attentiveness of the staff that actually works with the residents is wonderful, despite the shortage of workers. They go over and above board to make folks comfortable.

Clinical Director is great but wears too many hats. Nursing care is only fair, but my brother isn't very cooperative. Facility is nice and food is good. There seems to be plenty activities for those interested.

The staff were wonderful. "Little" [Name Removed] who attended my husband in his room was wonderful and I run out of positives for [Name Removed] the RN? who is in charge of all things medical.

There are some very nice features about the pointe . The staff is friendly and helpful, understanding of the needs of their residents. On the other side of the coin, there are some expectations that have not been met: requested haircut for my mom the day we checked in and it still hasn't been done two weeks later. Some of my mother's smaller needs are not being met, i.e. Help brushing her hair and teeth daily. Her wheelchair was lost, and then she was given a wheelchair that was not ours. we need our wheelchair because we will use it to take her places that are too much walking, for instance Longwood Gardens, shopping, parks. Also, she was being wheelchaired around rather than letting her walk using walker. She is very capable of this, If a little slow. I do not want her wheelchair bound and spoke to them. They have shifted their position on this thankfully. They took some dirty laundry and I don't know where it is. This might be nitpicking, but they dress her in things that don't match at all. She has nice clothes and could look much better, which would make her feel good. plaster, but definitely not least, there are many things that need to be done, needs in the room clerical needs, forms filled out, turned in, tasks, large and small - it would be nice to have a list ahead of time so that more things could be accomplished in one visit. Overall, it has NOT been a bad experience at all, but I also feel that they're not respectful of my time and travel. Fortunately, I chose them above others partly because they are close to my home.

It was a very nice and cordial experience. For me, it was very spread out and many buildings. With my macular degeneration. I like things a little more closer together. Overall, it was not the best fit for me.

The people are nice, the facility is nice, don't write any checks until you are 100% sure your loved one is going to be let in because you will not see a penny of it back if they change their mind.

Mom used to have to wait a long time in the AM to have someone respond to her ringing the buzzer. She'd have to use the bathroom and often would have to wait until her private aid arrived at 8 AM to get to the bathroom

So far we have been satisfied with their care. Small community, friendly staff.

My parents have been there almost a year. They are not happy at all about the food. They have trouble hiring and keeping competent staff. I've addressed with local management. Unfortunately I think the low pay on these jobs and others pulling from the same pool of candidates will continue to cause this.

Nice people. From what I could see while on a tour, they appear to pay attention to details in their caregiving. I do like their resident to caregiver ratio. However the rooms were very small, the ones shown were dark with very little storage and the facilities are old. The menus are unimpressive. Their parking is completely inadequate, when we arrived midafternoon on a weekday there were already several cars unable to park. An employee, trying to be helpful, approached our car and said if we could wait about 15 minutes, employees would leave and open up parking spaces. The enclosed outdoor space was lovely and I liked the sizeable gazebo in it. In all, I believe Gresham Pointe to be a caring community but the facilities are inadequate for our needs.

It is definitely not a high-end, bougie experience with one-to-one care that you would pay thousands of dollars more for. It is solid, caring, very good care. The food is average to better than average, they have healthy snacks, and spa water that they pass out to the residence in the afternoon. The entertainment director is amazing, her name is [name removed] and she goes above and beyond. I'm also impressed how many people there do things like trim nails, all to spend one to one time with residence and make them feel valued. That part rate rates of five.

They need more help, not enough staff, and more RN needs to be in the facility. Shortage of staff. My mom passed away and I just wished they had more staff. The CNA that was there treated my mom good, it's just staff shortages. The head nurse was ok,she did answer questions that I had concerns about, but they need permanent RN station around. Also my mom was in the memory care and they really need to do more with those patients.

He has experienced several issues at this facility, particularly with staffing and professionalism. At one point, he was even spoken to in a highly inappropriate and disrespectful manner. While the director has made efforts to address these concerns, the improvements have been limited. Overall, this has not been the best choice for my loved one.

Great with getting my Dad in facility. On occasion, they would be slow with coming to do things in the room such as services they often like hanging pictures, etc. Then when they hang them, they're not level and they're going sideways. Food is so so.

Edgewood Point Assisted Living is an older but decent facility. Staff seem nice and involved with the residents. It's a smaller facility so it seems like residents could get more personalized attention. Some areas looked a little worn and shabby. One of the bathrooms in one of the apartments in the Memory Care unit that didn't look very clean, I only got a quick glance. It's not a big, fancy, resort type facility but the staff seem like they care. Of note: this facility is one of the few with a Medicaid spend down option.

Although the interior of the facility is lovely, decorated nicely, seemingly friendly staff - it was just too large. Independent living is three stories, assisted living six stories, and memory care three stories, all in one connected building. It reminded me of being on a cruise ship and not knowing what direction to take when leaving the room to find the elevators. The one-time Community Fee seemed rather steep, being one and one half month's rent. Every member of the staff we met was warm and friendly.

Safe place, but lots of employee turnover. I would not recommend it. Since January, patients seem to be ignored by the activities coordinators and not given opportunity to go outside or do fun, engaging activities.

My dad thinks food is pretty good some time and he thinks most of staff is pleasant. Even though my dad doesn't do many of the activities there are a lot offered.

Some of the nursing staff was wonderful....others didn't seem to be all that interested in the residents. Lots of personal phone use. Receptionist always polite. Loved that a hair salon was on site. Staff that works in therapy department are wonderful also.

I used it for a 2 week respite care. Her room was shared and It appeared clean etc. My rating was low as when I picked up my wife she was dehydrated. No excuse for this.
