This is the place we first visited last year, and both of [name removed] children and I did not get a good impression- It may have been because it was the first one I saw. Nevertheless, my impression of visiting yesterday was very favorable. They have a small community, something I have to think about, as I know he needs a great deal of stimulation. I was told they have live music a couple of times per week. I was well impressed with the layout of the place. [name removed] may have ample space to move around. They have a variety of activities, but I am not sure if they are appropriate for men. I got the impression they were more for women. I will visit again to clarify and asked specific questions about exercises and activities. Also about the possibility of my volunteering 3 hours or so every day for a couple of weeks to help with activities, and then lower to two for a couple of weeks, then one, and finally stop once we agree he has transitioned. I need to find out how many resident-men are in the faciity

Make sure you know who is taking care of your loved one. Make sure to stay involved with your loved ones' care. The community is understaffed and they have too many residences to focus one on one attention. I would recommend this community if your loved one is mobile and social.

There are a few things that could some improvements, but they are taking really good care of our loved one. The current staff members are wonderful, we just love them. We really get good communication from the current director and even their home office. They have newsletters about what they are doing with COVID. Our loved one is not that happy with the food, the tougher meats are harder for her to eat. However, she does enjoys the activities, especially bingo and the morning exercise classes.

We picked Elmcroft of Bedford at the time because of the location, it was close to me so I could visit her often. My mom is in a shared room and it is a little tight, but they do offer varieties on room sizes as well. She does say the food is bland and they do not have much of a variety to choose from. They also do offer a lot of activities for residents to participate in, especially before covid. I would tell others that if your loved one does not have high medical needs and can be more independent, it would be a good fit.

The staff are wonderful and friendly. Sometimes it is hard to get a hold of people on the weekends to ask questions. I feel they are well trained though. Overall I think the staff does a great job with the residents. The activities had lots of variety each day for the residents to choose from prior to the pandemic.

I would recommend this community to others. The staff is very good and attentive to the residents. They eventually did get back to me with questions, it wasn't immediate though. The food was ok, my loved one didn't complain.

Elmcroft of Bedford is very clean, and we really like how everything is on one level. The rooms are very nice and beautifully decorated. It is laid out well. The people have been very nice and accommodating.

Building has movies and nice porch. Food could be better, when serving and the dining room serve better food.

I know the covid-19 has put a dent in many things that made this a great place. However, under the circumstances, as a whole our needs are being met. Would like to see an improvement in the food.

I like this community for the food cooked by the chef (great chefs).

I like the facility and think it is great fit for my family member. The assisted living space is very impressive compared to other facilities.

Loved apartment and amenities. Rep was clear and complete. Answeres all polite not rushed. I would tell my friends and show my brochure.

This building is being revamped and is beautiful. Holiday has everything to keep you happy, great employees.

Friendly staff work hard to keep us safe during covid-19. Now looking forward to upcoming activities as things get back to normal!

From the contact we have had with the staff members they have been very friendly towards us especially over the phone. The rooms are wonderful, our loved one loves it, she does not have to cook or clean. The food they serve is okay, she has grown to like it.

Like this place! Since mom is a fall risk, they feel assisted living is more appropriate, but I cannot afford it. Looking into Medicaid. If in independent living ~$1,200. Assisted living ~$3,600 and offers 1 meal, cleaning, nurse check-in.
