There is a move in fee of one months rent which is $4,000. So before you even move in you are paying $8,000, $4,000 is the move in fee and $4,000 is for first months rent. They have a large open area where the residents can walk around, it's not like a long hallway they just go back and fourth in. We would like their responsiveness to be quicker when you pull the pull strings. So far we are pleased with Clare Bridge and would recommend them to anyone.

We do not have experience with other facilities so we could not accurately rate the "value" also there was no participation in the "activities" so that cannot be accurately rated. But all and all the Rittenhouse was convenient for our needs and we would recommend them to others looking in this area.

My mom gets adequate care but the food needs improvement. Tough mystery meat at many meals. Better communication on weekends regarding care. A urine sample sat over the weekend and got stale thus delaying the start of meds when my mom had a UTI. Make promised upgrades to the garden area. Sometimes my mom asks for alternate menu items from the selections given but does not actual receive them.

Multiple building structures thus way too much walking for assisted living -ALL outside cat walks - not the best for seniors. BUT [name removed] was lovely, knowledgeable and the community was very nice. The building itself was the issue for my Mom.

The pond and waterfalls make it serene. The studio apartment is adorable. I can't wait for the cooler weather so I can take advantage of my balcony. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I find most days I have a smile on my face as there are activities of all kinds. With the privacy of my own place and a community atmosphere there is always something to do. I finally feel like I am home.

They did a great job of welcoming to this facility. We worried about the transition for my dad but it has all been positive. They have so many activities that he is involved in, he started physical therapy three times and week and is more active now than when he was at home, he loves the exercise classes in the pool and enjoys all the activities on campus as well as activities planned off campus.

My mother [name removed] is at Creekside Alzheimer memory care. My mother is much better. And she is much better.

Quality place

Staff is great and attentive to requests. The main issue is getting the new chairs and tables assembled. The server staff has been an issue many days. No shows or last minute calls. I'm happy with my studio I only wish it had a balcony.

4. Her care helpers are not always available when they're scheduled. Activities-good Food- good Assisted care- not always dependable. As of today no one came to help her shower. Housekeeping also did not come.

The facility and the apartments are kept very clean. My family member is more mobile than some of the other residents she would benefit from an increase in activities or outings. My family member has a great relationship with the staff. She occasionally complains about the food.

Her room is reasonable size. The staff are caring and friendly and experienced. It is clean. My biggest complaint is the lack of activities, either physical or social, for her. Frankly, my mother is probably too well to be in memory care, but not well enough to be in assisted living. Perhaps a simple group exercise program is an idea? That she is a little in the "in between" category makes it a little difficult but by and large we are very satisfied

Though there is a good amount of staff turnover, the staff, especially the Exec Director, chef, nurses and some of the Aides are excellent. They are very responsive and handle the family's concerns and patient needs. The activities are plentiful throughout the day. They really have a nice mix of hands on/motor skill activities to entertainment and even dog visits. Overall, the patient rooms and common areas are clean. Occasionally the common rest rooms are not clean mostly due to the fact that the residents use them at times. The food is above average. Generally, there are many carbs. For a vegetarian the menu is even more challenging. And for Alzheimer patients who have vision and motor skills issues, it would be nice to see more finger foods.

Very positive! Staff is super and very responsive. Very clean and smells nice. Affordable and honest. Happy we chose them. Different assisted living places had different vibes. I interviewed and toured 9 places comparing safety, price, distance, staff, activities, room sizes, layouts, and talking with the nurses and the staff. I asked myself how it made me feel. Bedford Estates felt warm and comfortable, like home.

I would recommend Oak Hill Terrace, the staff are very caring which is appreciated and the most important thing.

The Estates is a clean, well-maintained facility. One of my main concerns when choosing a facility is the menu, as I need to eat gluten-free food. I was please to see a printed menu for that day's dinner, with each item noted as GF, DF, V etc. There are many activities planned. There is a heated pool, hot tub, gym and therapy offered. There is also a nice walking trail around the property.

The overall experience has been good. Staff is friendly, helpful and care. There are plenty of activities and parties etc. Unfortunately, my Mom doesn't participate very much. I only looked at 2 places and Lewis had the bigger rooms I thought. I think that was Heritage Oaks. Bottom line, I really liked [name removed] there, you can tell she cares.

The staff seems to be very caring and attentive to her daily needs. - Apparently, she likes the food; she's gained several pounds. -The facility always seems clean and free of bad odors. - The room sizes are adequate for her needs (she's in memory care). - They do have some activities on site as well as weekly off campus adventures . The only issue I've had was with the initial interview/observation. They focused on the level of memory care she would need - understandably, so they could bill her accordingly. But, they neglected to focus on her physical health. Or, ask if her health insurance would be compatible with their on-site services. She didn't have the strength or stamina to navigate through a large facility. She wasn't used to walking long distances - going to the dining room or activity rooms. Because of the insurance issues, I don't think she has been able to receive any onsite physical therapy. And, I question if they have any daily individual or group exercise routines at the facility.

Breakfast...everything that is supposed to be hot, is cold. Everything else is good. I recommend them to others who are searching for senior living for themselves or a loved one.

They are in the process of updating the facility including painting, floors,elevators, and the building roof which has caused many inconveniences and stress .This is why I rated overall as a 4. Meals food very excellent!
