I would rate my experience thus far with the Reserve at Greenbrier as a 5+! I am very happy with our apartment, & the staff as well as the many great people I have met. The activities are plentiful & varied, the location is close to many retail shops, banks, grocery stores, restaurants, etc. I highly recommend the Reserve to any senior who is looking for an independent living facility. The Reserve community appears to have some of the most friendly & kind people I have had the opportunity to meet. My situation was rather unique in that a bit over a week after moving in my husband had a stroke which resulted in him being hospitalized & now in a rehab facility. Everyone here without exception is always asking about him & offering any help that I might need. The PT staff members were right there when my husband fell prior to his stroke. The Special Breakfast Tuesdays are a big hit as well & a good way to meet people. The activities director here is a gem & has some good & varied ideas for keeping people engaged. We have a 2B/2B apartment with a lovely deck that provides excellent quiet time. It was completely redone before we moved in & I was able to choose paint & carpet colors as well as type of flooring which was a plus for me

I have a friend who suffered a stroke and was going to need assisted living for a while. From my first phone call, I knew this was the right place for him. The staff is all so friendly. The place is clean and well maintained. My friend loves the food and all the activities. He has made several friends. If I ever need assisted living, this is where I want to be.

I have found both the staff and the residents very friendly! It took a short time for me to be mostly integrated into the group. The food is very good, and the staff goes out of its way to accommodate special dietary requirements.

I recently moved my mother to Calusa Harbor in an attempt to better manage her finances. The move not only better fit our budget but I’ve been pleased with both the facility and the friendly personnel. The food is very good and the lanai over looking the river is fabulous. She has settled in very well. Thanks to A Place For Mom for the recommendation!

I am 86 years old and my children placed new here, so it was not my idea. But I do enjoy living here. My children pay the bill but I think value is great.

Our whole experience has been wonderful! The staff and nurses are friendly, caring. and kind. They are so good at following up when questions arise and provide excellent activities for residents.

Come to play bingo here on the first Tuesday of the month. Everyone is so friendly here and the staff is good to the residents.

I have been very pleased with the care and understanding they are showing my Mom. They are great with her, especially since she has dementia. They are patient and kind with all the residences. My Mom tells me how great the staff is and she likes everyone. I like that the staff has encouraged her to eat with others and get involved in activities. I have not worried about my Mom and her care since has been there.

Very friendly and attentive. I would recommend. The Director is awesome.

They have remodeled since we were there. The staff is super friendly. The centralized elevator's create long waits at meal time, especially dinner. And, if you wait too long to go to dinner, they may not have the daily specials available any more, so you have to pivot to the daily menu which can get boring. Some residents are having trouble booking rides. I've heard it was recently upgraded with new decor, including rugs in the apartments.

The staff appears to be more engaged in their work and the relationships they have with the residents. Certainly more than I witnessed in other facilities

This is A very nice place with good people. My sister is in memory care and she is getting a lot of personal care, especially from [name removed]. She is not bored anymore and is now joining in with group activities. She doesn’t appear to be too lonely. I visit quite often and everything is in perfect order. I am really happy with this place.

My 95 year old Mom has been at Morningside for 3 weeks and is settling in. Staff is wonderful and she really enjoys the food. There are many options for games and entertainment. I highly recommend Morningside of Charlottesville.
