My visit to this facility was wonderful as well. I will send the info to my father for him to reveiw. He will make the final decision based on the finances.

Loved everything about this place. Great room options, clean, homelike. Thought the prices were reasonable. Like that they offer a spend-down option if my mom were to reach that point.

The food is a four, it's very good. When we went in to investigate the community, the staff was so informative and friendly and it felt like a family. She immediately felt like she could belong to a community and that this was a place she really belonged. It was beautiful and all the extra little things they do is just over the top and so much attention to detail. They had so much to offer.

Mountview was wonderful. Sherri, the director I met with was sweet and helpful. She went out of her way to accommodate the unique needs of my father. They did everything they could to provide a home environment for him. Close to local shops and nestled in the foothills, it was a great place for my father. I truly appreciate everything they did. I will be forever grateful.

I love the staff. They are pretty consistent with doing the same things every day, starting the morning with coffee and newspapers. They have been great to work with. I really like the size of it, there are not a lot of residents, but big enough that they weren't staring at eachother.

They were great! They took wonderful care of him. Checking on him often. He was a hard guy to get along with but they handled him really well and he even bragged about them. He never complained about the meals. We were pretty happy with them. I felt like we were getting more than our moneys worth. He would sit in his apartment and look around and say he's never been anywhere this nice in his entire life. We've even referred other people there.

I was recommending them to friend last night. Such tender warm loving, care. The food is good. If we could get the maintenance man to be a little more responsive, that would be great. It's not a big instutution it's more like families, maybe 14 people in the building. The caregivers are just sweethearts, they offer coffee and hot chocolate.

We're very pleased with this place so far. My loved one is as happy as she can be in a care facility. Everyone has been great, the staff are very friendly, the care is good, and it's very clean. We liked this more than some others we looked at just because it had a more homey and less institutional feel.

This was one of the locations we toured at when looking into memory care for our loved one. It was a very nice looking place, and the staff all seemed caring and professional. Carla, in particular, was very very helpful. We spoke with quite a few people during our search and she really stood out as one of the best. Unfortunately this community did not have the type of room available that we were interested in during the time of our search, they only had beds in double rooms available.

This is a beautiful community that is very clean and up-to-date. The facilities are light-filled and lovely. They provide three meals per day unlike many other communities that only provide one or two. They have many different apartment lay-outs to choose from.

Honestly I would have picked this one, but I had already signed papers for another by the time I happened to see this one and do a walk-in tour. It's a very nice place! Everything looked great, the rooms were lovely, and the residents I saw in the dining hall looked happy. The staff are also very friendly. The marketing person I spoke with, Dominic, was more than happy to talk with me even though I was already committed to another location, and has stayed in touch.

My uncle is 91 years old with "Alzheimer's Type Dementia". I found, the hard way, that a nursing home is not a good fit for this diagnosis and that mentally he declined at an alarming rate. Here at Autumn Leaves these past 2 months, I have seen him improve so very much. This place is like a home versus a "facility". It has spacious living areas which the residents enjoy; 2 beautiful cozy, themed dining rooms complete with designer fish tanks; a family room----just take the tour! They have a very well trained staff, a great nurse and medication aids-----best of all, my uncle is very happy there. We took him home for Christmas yesterday and he could hardly wait to get back, he didn't want to miss out on anything!

From the moment I visited Farmington Square and met Carey and Jill I felt at home and knew it was the perfect spot for my husband, Curtis. Farmington Square even came out to my house and transported Curtis for me. They did everything they could to help make the transition smooth and when an emergency health issue came up they handled it with ease. My husband passed away after only seven days but everyone at Farmington Square treated Curtis and myself like family.

One thing we really liked about this community, and a reason that we selected it, was the smaller size. We wanted something that would feel more personal, and wouldn't be overwhelming for my in-laws to get used to. It's very nice looking, and clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. The food is alright, it's good most days but can be hit or miss depending on the dish. I feel like the community could have been a little more helpful with the paperwork, since we were moving my in-laws in from out-of-state, which I'm sure they deal with all the time, but was a lot for us to deal with without help.

I can't say one single thing bad about the place. The room was big, the room had a view, it was spectacular. It would have been the very best place. Just comparing the facilities, it was the most magnificent place that I saw. Because of medical condition of my friend, however, he was not ideal candidate. It was the same price as Emeritus, but much brighter, much better maintained, and just gorgeous. Food was delicious and the building was so beautifully maintained. Nothing else compared. Beautiful sitting areas, beautiful plants around the facility; I would move in myself.

I am very happy with this community, and my Mom loves it as well, it really is a wonderful place. The staff are uniformly lovely, very positive and always smiling! And they are unobtrusive, the residents feel very independent. My Mom really appreciates having all the people around, she enjoys the social activities and has made numerous friends. There are nice touches, there has been a piano player when I have visited, and fashion shows where the residents can purchase clothing. The grounds themselves are lovely, and the location is great. Also, the food is wonderful, and the staff gets to know what individual residents like.

They have all kinds of things to do, there is what they call a town center with crafts, and people will come and play music, sometimes they will have chili and hot dogs, or exercises. Sometimes different groups of residents will go for ice cream or something. The focus on dementia care was what made us choose them. They don't take physically sick people they focus on dementia. There isn't really anything they could do better. He eats, they all eat, he cleans his plate and they let them eat as much as they want and don't hinder them from eating. The community is not like a nursing home, it has a totally different feel. It feels like an independent retirement community with no odor of people being sick, there aren't a lot of bells ringing or alarms going off. People aren't just sitting in the hallway in their wheelchairs. The people seem content and well taken care of. They make sure he is clean with showers and his incontinence is cared for, they are not left in soiled clothes. They also don't let them sit in their rooms everyday. If they try to stay isolated they will lock the door to their room so the have to socialize and be out and about in the community.

We are very pleased with them. The staff there is excellent. The nursing staff is very caring and very good. It is a very nice place. The only negative thing that we have heard from my father is that the food leaves a little to be desired. Probably just average. The staff is really a big plus, though.

As far as my interaction goes, they do a wonderful job. I am in Florida so I am not in there, but I don't have any major complaints from her. I have a cousin and her husband who have taken care of everything and I haven't heard anything negative from them, either. Anything that happens they address with my cousin right away. We had been doing a conference call every 30 days, but now we have moved to every 90 days.

The care is really good. The people there are so sweet and kind and I think that they're doing really well. The last place my mom was at she never participated in anything. Here, they have her out working on puzzles, making cookies in the activity area with the other ladies. I don't think she's done any of the activities outside of the place yet but I do know that they're really good about getting her to do things inside. I can't imagine any place that my mom would be happier than where she's at at Farmington Square. All of the people go out of their way to acknowledge me and the other visitors. They take my questions and suggestions really seriously. I'm really pleased with Farmington Square. From my understanding, Farmington Square is family owned and has been with the same family since it started. That probably has a lot to do with it.
