Myrtle Beach Estates (MBE) we absolutely love. It has the appearance of a hotel versus the more clinical environment of Myrtle Beach Manor. MBE is nestled in a wooded area of a residential neighborhood. The grounds look very much like my mother's yard. The rooms are large and have large windows. The whole facility is well lighted artificially and with natural light from large windows everywhere. The staff was friendly and our guide, Trish Crowell, is a wonderfully loving, caring person. MBE has a 'memory care' building, as does Myrtle Beach Manor. Mother will be able to transition to the memory care area, as her condition dictates, without having to change facilities. MBE has the size room we want for my mother so we are going to move forward with placing Mother at this 'home'.

They are very caring at Farmington Square and went all out to make my mom feel better. The whole family was impressed.

We are so impressed with Elmcroft! They are excellent in every way, they keep a good eye on her and try to keep the care level down so the price doesn't go out of control. They call and keep us informed even if it's just to let us know that she is having a good day. They have some really nice activities. Once a month they have a family and friends night where they supply all the food and wine and beer. They take them out if they want to go out, they have a lunch bunch. I feel like the staff falls over themselves to be nice.

I am very very pleased, with Myrtle Beach Estates. They are so friendly, really, really, friendly! They are pretty quick to respond to my mother's needs and take her to doctor appointments, and making sure she has every thing she needs. They have activities every single day and two outings a week. The location is really good. The only thing that could be improved is the menu, if they could expand their menu a little it would be great.

Nice facility, wonderful staff. Especially like the fact of easy transition as loved one needs further care they can stay in the same facility. Great security with all doors being locked 24/7.

Warm, bright and friendly. This small community has it all - retirement living in 2 bedroom, 2 bath Cottages, as well as caring Assisted Living in large, well-lighted apartments. Family-friendly, the staff is exceptional. The food has been featured as setting the standard. I felt comfortable and welcome the moment I walked in the door.

Cedar Ridge is the first place we looked act and the one our family chose for our Mom! The people at Cedar Ridge are Special. The hugs are plentiful and their kindness knows no bounds. It is clean and the care is awesome! My Mom asked how long she was going to stay at the resort. My sister and I would like to make reservations for twenty years from now! It is so hard to find a truly wonderful place but I can tell we have been blessed to find Cedar Ridge and their wonderful staff and residents! We can't thank them enough!

Was very pleased with Elmcroft of Arlington. The friendliness was outstanding. The care services Elmcroft provides is just what we were looking for.

I really like the activities program here, they have things planned for morning and afternoons. As an added plus, they have persons lead activities on weekends. They are excellent at engaging the residents and encouraging them to participate. Another aspect I've really appreciated is that the Kitchen Manager makes sure my loved one is served gluten free meals as she is a celiac sufferer.

So far they've done a great job caring for my loved one, and we have been very pleased with them! It's a very new community, but they're already very on-the-ball when it comes to the staff being friendly and responsive. They're great at engaging the residents and encouraging them to participate in activities. They also work very hard to learn the likes and dislikes of the residents when it comes to food, so they can alter the menu to everyone's tastes.

This place has done a great job so far! The activities here are wonderful, there's always plenty of things for the residents to do, and the the activities director is often out playing bingo right alongside the residents! They've got two dogs at the community, a younger one that likes to play, and an older one that likes to sit with people, and they encourage families to bring their pets to visit. The food is also very good, they've got a varied menu, and always plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables. Overall it is just a very comfortable and homey feeling environment, and definitely worth a look!

They have everything you need there. If you need an assistant or to go to the doctor. The drugstore is right next door. The food is very good. Once I understood the difference between assisted and independent living, I realized they are so much more affordable. Overall you really need to understand the difference between the two.

I've only had one other dealing with an assisted living in another town and it wasn't the best. I walked into Sterling House and was impressed from the start...Lisa is so nice, the rooms are so nice and clean. Mom just moved in yesterday so I don't know how it is going to work out since she will be 92 this month and thinks she is still 50, so she wants to live in her own home alone. I've met some of the tenants and they are really nice, one in particular keeps telling me that Mom is going to be okay. The decision was hard but had to be made. Now I just hope and pray that Mom will get adjusted and learn to love not being isolated and alone like she has been for years. Of the three places I visited, I was most impressed with Sterling House and I liked the fact that at full capacity it takes only 42 people...

We've had a great experience here so far! Hands down the staff have been wonderful to work with. They're helpful, friendly, and they really go out of their way to help with any and all issues I've had! They really listen to feedback and work to fix the issues you bring to them. This is a great place if you've got a loved one who wants a good deal of independence. The unit we got for Dad has a full kitchen, since Dad still enjoys preparing his own breakfasts. The only thing I can think they could improve is that the food could be better, I'd rate it at maybe a 3.5. Overall we're very pleased with this place, and would recommend it to anyone!

This is an option I've been looking into for a loved one. I really like what I have seen of this one. It is a very nice looking facility, and the staff have been very friendly and professional. It seems to provide better care than her current facility, and at a lower price.

My visit to this facility was wonderful as well. I will send the info to my father for him to reveiw. He will make the final decision based on the finances.

Loved everything about this place. Great room options, clean, homelike. Thought the prices were reasonable. Like that they offer a spend-down option if my mom were to reach that point.

The food is a four, it's very good. When we went in to investigate the community, the staff was so informative and friendly and it felt like a family. She immediately felt like she could belong to a community and that this was a place she really belonged. It was beautiful and all the extra little things they do is just over the top and so much attention to detail. They had so much to offer.

Mountview was wonderful. Sherri, the director I met with was sweet and helpful. She went out of her way to accommodate the unique needs of my father. They did everything they could to provide a home environment for him. Close to local shops and nestled in the foothills, it was a great place for my father. I truly appreciate everything they did. I will be forever grateful.

I love the staff. They are pretty consistent with doing the same things every day, starting the morning with coffee and newspapers. They have been great to work with. I really like the size of it, there are not a lot of residents, but big enough that they weren't staring at eachother.
