We visited the facility unannounced and witnessed staff in action during a resident emergency. Was very impressed with their handling of it. Also was greeted very personably and professionally by receptionist. We felt a very warm atmosphere and have since come to understand why - the management and staff. Mom is happy and so are we!

My Mom just moved in a week ago from a senior apt which only provided 2 meals / day 5 days week and she had to travel down across a parking lot in heat or rain to get to dining hall. She is 92. Elmcroft is beautifully designed ..all one floor, temp appropriate with a dining hall that mimics a fine dining restaurant !!!! She got get hair done at the beauty shop . But the real jewel are the care givers !!! They truly love elderly people and it shows! My mom is kind of shy so they seek her out and connect with her. She already feels safe there and I can't tell you what peace of mind for me that is!!!

I needed to find a community that was close, and it had to fit their budget.My parents have adjusted well to the community. They are still able to keep their independence, but have access to help if they need it. The community is very well-kept. That was an important thing to us. They keep everything very clean and nice. It is a very cozy community. My parents have participated in some activities, they do offer great activities. The food is okay, they do sever well balanced meals. Overall it has been a good experience and I would recommend it.

Brookdale Ennis has turned out to be quite a wonderful place with a few improvements that could be made. As far as the staff and the care I am pleased. The place itself is beautiful. As far as the food goes it could be better. Lots of residents have complained about the quality of food and how it is prepared. Maybe a suggestion box would be helpful. Other than that it truly is a great place and I would recommend!

The staff is truly wonderful, they have been great with all the help they give. He is eating very well, and enjoys the food. They do offer nice activities through out the week. They have more activitys and more of everything. :so for all the kids in pa ny mj. This is were mom dad belong and if I can live as long I'll be living here too!! I love the feeling of independence I get here. When I'm offered opportunities to do things - if I don't want to participate - it's ok. I live my life as I please. I'm still able to function mentally, but am very arthritic. Therefore, I need assistance in bathing and dressing and food service. Otherwise I can do as I please. I like the attitude of upper management - they want me (and everyone) to be happy and satisfied and try hard to accomplish this.
