My mom is 83 years old and needing more attention of care but at the same time she's still independent. She has always lived alone for a very long time and we wanted her to to still feel that way. We choose Whitby Point because of what they are able to offer and that is independent living and at the same time assit her with her needs. Being honest most of us live very fast paced life's and need some help with the care of our parents. Sounds selfish but is true. I'm glad we found Whitby Point because they cab assist with all that from the attention, meals, exercise, activities, clinical and pharmacy needs. Outings for the residents. It's an all in one location. Don't have to worry about taking Mom for appointments getting her room attended to, laundry , meds its all here. So great full we took the time to look around and found the right place for Mom. Staff is very professional and straightforward.. Most of all she is still feeling independent and hope it continues. While we didn’t choose this location, it was not because the lack of the facility! This was absolutely our second choice and we loved it everything about the facility and the amenities available! We would recommend if asked which ones we loved the most!

[name removed] provided a positive experience for my tour. She was gracious and shared an enthusiastic welcome for me. She explained all the information I needed and answered all my questions. The facility was clean and welcoming. She also provided follow-up contact. I appreciate her time and expertise.

I enjoyed the tour. This facility is gorgeous. Loved the layout and facilities. All the guests we came in contact with were happy. That said a lot to me. By the end of the tour I was ready to move in. I was there looking for a friend. Lovely staff.

Everyone has been helpful and patient during the process. My mother has taken some time to get adjusted to her new living situation and overall, I think she is fairly happy. She loves her apartment- good size, good condition(5) and has said that the majority of the staff have been very helpful and kind towards her (5). She's not a fan of the food (3), but I think she's getting adjusted. it is very clean, smells great and friendly staff.

Staff I met were very nice. I was not familiar with this area and unaware of this facility until my search for a place for a family member. My first time to see the facility and so far a good place!

She states she is happy where she is. Feels safe and well protected. Only compliant is that she is not always pleased with the food - but I know you can't please everyone! Overall good experience, & when she asks for things to get fixed or pictures placed the people were helpful. She loves it there. Meeting new people & starting to participate in activities

They didn't have any openings in the assisted living section but did show us an independent living room. Clean and very nice staff

We are moving my mother-in-law in soon. We liked the Atrium area for her. We will see after she is there.

I’m glad to be here at Oak Hill Terrace. I’m already settling in very nicely in my cute apartment! I really enjoy the delicious meals. The staff is so caring and friendly.They are very attentive to my care needs.

Our community resource person was [Name Removed]. My brother and I toured the facility on Saturday and I came back with my sister and mother the following Thursday. The place is very pleasant, and clean. Everyone greets you with a smile. The staff is very happy here. And they enjoy working here. We were invited by [Name Removed] to come and play Bingo with our mom. He gave me the same tour he gave my brother and I. [Name Removed] is energetic, kind and very patient. My mom felt comfortable and liked the people at this place. We had lunch at Tiffany’s and were surprised how delicious and reasonable the food was. [Name Removed] came back to get us and told us the food was complementary. I would highly recommend this place for not only my mom but also for anyone looking to place an elderly person here. Also [Name Removed] showed us not only the two models, but also several vacant studio apartments.

Was impressed with the size of the rooms, the friendliness of staff, the activities and dining. I learned a lot during the tour and am very glad for the staff taking the time and the information shared.

We have been at Talbot for over 9 months and really enjoy living here. Nice big apartments, residents are so friendly and plenty of activities. Full kitchen, washer and dryer and lots of closets is a plus.

The staff were unbelievable . My friend was very happy and that made me feel that Tuscany was the right choice. Working with you and the Tuscany staff made it so much easier for me. I 'll definitely recommend you!

We liked it so much we can't wait ~ we're moving in next month! So much more spacious than the other facilities we toured.

The staff is very attentive and helpful. I have not run across a staff member who is not willing to speak or help in any capacity. If they don't have an answer, they have walked around with me to find someone who could help. On the day of move in, one of the ladies from the cafeteria assisted me with getting the cart of furniture upstairs to my loved ones room. On any given day, if I go in with an arm full of items for my loved on, someone will stop to help me carry them. I just can't say enough. I have gone to facilities where you can tell that 80% of the employees don't enjoy their job or even want to be there at all, and I have never had that feeling there. They welcome family members with open arms and even extend activity invitations to the family of residents.

The staff is excellent. The rooms, carpet, dining area, patio and all interior and some exterior need renovated. We loved the staff and residents. We loved the one floor apartments. But they all need new carpet and paint. I feel that would go along way.

Very well planned out facility. Lots of open spaces. Outdoor patio area is large. Offers lots of activities to do. Good room sizes I like that the men are separated from the women.

When faced with the situation of having to place your loved one in a Senior Living facility comes your way, believe me it’s a very emotional and stressful experience. We looked extensively at who could provide the absolute highest quality and best living experiences for our Dad. Also, having been in the healthcare industry I found myself being very selective and wary. When we found Tuscany we knew we had to look no further. The Condos are very roomy and well maintained. The staff exemplary, helpful and supportive. It took absolutely no time for my Dad to acclimate and feel right at home. Thanks to all at Tuscany for giving my Father excellent quality care and a wonderful place to live and our family peace of mind! The McGrath / Pitcher Family
